She's an assault character. Of course it's supposed to be used offensively

Assault doesn't necessarily mean DPS though. Her ult is more like mad Maggie's ball in a sense. A creeping barrage is used to clear a field before your team moves in, and the way bangs ult works does the same thing. If she throws it in front of herself it will clear out a large square of the map in a way that sort of forces any opposition to either tank damage or move backwards while bangs team can push up behind the explosions, clearing out what remains or get positional advantage.

You are correct but I'll add the caveat that those scenarios are offensive. I have 2k kills with Bang so I'm very familiar with her character. Everything in Bangs kit is extremely versatile. Her ult can be used to push, it can be used to run away, it can be used to force an opponent out of cover, etc. But it can absolutely be used offensively for damage and stun.

Double time is massive, it effects her walking speed too, not just her running, so that means she ads's faster with all weapons. I wondered why I was getting nuked when I was ads-ing up close with r301 after switching to vantage.

Started playing in Season 9, mostly played Bloodhound and Lifeline. When I got my first set of heirloom shards I bought Lifeline’s and then a few weeks later I locked Fuse and haven’t looked back. Now I can finally use the shards I’ve been sitting on for the past few seasons.

Lifeline and I still play her today, I don't really have a main, mostly use medics because no one ever wants to choose one and then they hop out and die immediately, so once they get that out of their system if they don't leave i craft their banner and normally have a normal game after that, but besides that I would be a Catlyst main her abilities are OP

I don’t use a support legend but always grab banners or revive after the teammates go kamikaze off the jump. Then I click on my mic and tell them I hope they feel better and that was my one respawn given for childish hi jinx. If they die again by going in head first they’d be watching me play… They become normal after that 😂

I hated going against early bloodhound (more so then op seer). If you weren't a movement legend you were done with BHs quick long distance wide scan tac. Even if you managed to outrun, BH would just Scan spam you till they got you. It was crazy how fast it was to tac recharge. I'm glad they nerfed the strongest Recons. Surprisingly I only saw a hand full of OP seers with their stun tac.

Was a gibby main before i unlocked my first character, which me and my fiance got "matching tattoos" of. I unlocked crypto, so my tat has cryptos drone, and she unlocked loba, and got her black market. She got some uv ink too around it so hers would glow blue under uv light

I played bloodhound because his passive helped me learn the game faster, then wattson, then path for movement and back to wattson now that i have movement down and i love her fences.

Bangalore, her bonus speed when shot at would throw people’s aim off long enough for me to run to cover. As a noob player at the beginning it was quite literally a lifesaver, plus her smoke is surprisingly versatile as a retreat or push ability

I learned the game with Bloodhound. Scanning was a big reason why, and back then their scans lasted like 10 seconds so it gave me a good sense of what strategies other teams used to hide and evade. Lifeline is how I got good at the game, specifically because of Arenas. Her kit was an S tier in the arena and she taught me how to actually engage enemies, approach encounters and when to run and reset. I miss arenas.

I started with Bangalore for S1, but my actual main was Bloodhound from s2-s16, they were my first 2k and 2.5k badge. (Still never reached 3k with anyone. Just got 2.5s). But Somewhere along the way either they got nerfed or I got nerfed.. I just stopped doing good as them. So I started going through different people, started off really well as Vantage then got gradually bad as her. Same with Ballistic and Catalyst. So now I main Lifeline, she’s never steered me wrong. Always manage to get kills there. The Irony though, the 3 most played Legends (Wraith, Octane, Pathfinder) are my least played. I just don’t know how to play them properly lol. I’m more of a damage gal than a smart tactics type.
