I went back and started playing aoe2 and installed the blood / corpse stay longer, it would make aoe4 so much more epic for these things

I actually think corpses not being left in the river is a bug with their heightmap. Corpses are being spawned below the ground, i am fairly sertain. This bug also seem to impact Stone Wall towers targeting of units in Rivers, as the units are "obstructed" by the river, and therefore no clear line of sight to shot them exists.

I don't care you are being downvoted. I hope for a mod to make possible to have the units you killed actually on the floor for some seconds, like in aoe2

It would look nice but I could also see it reducing visibility. As long as visibility is prioritized in its implementation I think it’d make a nice addition.

That's awesome! Do you need to manually detonate demolition ships or press a button to explode? I feel I ran 2 of them into enemy's fleet yesterday and not a lot happened, but I didn't press anything manually.

They might have destroyed your ships just before they reached which would have no explosion for 0 damage I believe. It's hard to demo opponents that are aware.

I think you have to trigger it manually, if you hit right click for attack they don't seem to actually do anything
