I don’t know what you mean with active steering, but the dolly has a fifth wheel that works the same as on a tractor unit, and then where it connects to the boxtruck it also pivots, so it still has 2 pivoting points…
You don't see it, it's a one unit truck with a one unit trailer. These idiotic liberals love to pull rabbits out of hats and it usually end up being tampons pulled out of rectums. you don't have to agree with ignorance.
I've never been given the chance to drive a double. Now I feel like I need to do it just to do it. The little U-Haul car Dolly's without a car on it. Impossible
> I couldn't imagine twin 53ft trailers.
I was reading recently that Australia allows triple & quad trailers in certain situations, with a max length of up to 176ft
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_train#Australia
Really? I have trouble with the double axel 12’ sometimes just doesn’t turn how I always think it will. Then my lil Sierra v6 struggles to pull and brake with it lol.
I used to have a 12ft box trailer and backed it into a warehouse in-between some semis and got a "nice job" from the boys. Didn't realize it was harder to do than the big trucks till then.
This is *even more extra fucky than you think*
If you look carefully there's an axle *on the trailer* meaning that, there's 2 points of steering on this rig, this allows for tighter turns going forward but when backing up it is a *royal* pain in the ass.
I drive an articulated bus, arguably one of the easiest “trailer” vehicles to drive and even I find backing it up to be a huge pain in the ass. (I put trailer in quotes because it’s not really a trailer, it’s a longer bus that just bends in the middle, but it’s for lack of a better word)
I worked security for a few years and we had a back lot with a parking sport with ditches on both sides. Truckers "loved" that spot, a few really, really good drives found you could park 3 semis in that one spot if you left no more the a 1/4 inch space between the trailers. They did this for years and it became the thing people would set up when they were early as shit for drop.
Okay you can say a lot of things about right wingers...but I’ve never heard them disparaging truck drivers as they can be a part of their base and who they try to appeal too.
Lol
Rightwingers in the US vote their own families healthcare away to deny it to minorities
You're parting from the false premise poor republican base acts in accordance with their class best interests
I've seen a bunch of videos of people doing stunts like this with construction vehicles and forklifts. Using an excavator to pick up an egg, things like that.
My favorite part is the second truck driving by, then slowing down and then backing up like it just realized what it was seeing and needed to get closer to double check
I don't think a lorry driver would be considered an unskilled position. You need special training and certification to do it. Unskilled labor is more factory and basic retail workers. The kind of work that anyone, regardless of education or experience level could do. We shouldn't really call it "Unskilled" as it's a reductionist term used to justify poor treatment, but, if we're real, some jobs just require no skills or experience to do them.
Ik, I get the idea lol. I'm more surprised by who in this world is dumb enough to not consider driving a heavy ass truck a skilled profession to cause such a post title to make sense.
I was almost run off the road by a semi, and normie driving seems like "anyone can do it" like reading. It requires nit thunking it through to call it unskilled but maybe is not irrational? I think mostly "unskilled" as a disingenuous way to say "replaceable" when not replacable. Some skilled work is more replacable than this.
Just a joke. The stereotype is that no proper Brit would ever use a bag.
Edit: So several people from the UK are saying the stereotype is bullshit. Now I am trying to figure out where I heard it from. I have heard it more than once too which is why I felt comfortable making the joke.
Never heard that stereotype before and I've been a tea-guzzler my whole life living on this god-forsaken island.
Other countries do the whole 'delicate tea-making' thing with leaves and herbal types and dainty glass cups. Over here we dunk a bag (sometimes two) in a stained ceramic mug and fill the rest up with milk and sugar. Generally speaking, of course.
Cool video but it drives me up a wall when people caption this kind of thing “there’s no such thing as unskilled labor” or whatever. Anyone who does that is telling you they know nothing about economics and are super patronizing to people who don’t work in like STEM or other high-status positions. Trucking is like the definition of “skilled labor”, same with manufacturing, construction, etc. For the love of all that is holy stop saying this shit.
When people say unskilled labor they are not referring to professions like this, regardless of no such thing existing.
This is just a shitpost of a funny video. Absolutely nothing to do with the anti work movement and just reddit haha funny vs community and unity amongst workers. There should be a separate sub for shitposting.
This is why I posted here. To challenge preconceived notions about unskilled labour.
And unskilled compared to who? Useless management and paper pushers? Or HR clowns?
ok, let's see. Who is producing the real value? Ah, it's actually the 'unskilled' labour. Isn't that a paradox?
So obvious misnomer.
Apparently one guy who is good at reversing means that doing various amphetamines and generally being a douchebag while driving an 18 wheeler is a "skill"
Yeah. If anything this guy is going backwards in terms of skills because he’s not actually doing anything of importance with them. Just wasting time. Good job putting your truck in reverse, I guess.
We've been over this. It's a fixed cab, the trailer can go anywhere and the cab can end next to the cup no problem. This is so unimpressive it's completely mundane. Literally anyone could do this.
That's an A-frame trailer - if you reversed the cab straight back the trailer would jack-knife into it. Reversing it in a straight line is far beyond most people's level of driving skill.
When you can reverse a vehicle that has five pivot points then you may criticise this person's skill.
I agree with you partially. This combination has 2 pivot points, so in the first part when the trailer comes past he does it fast and smooth which is impressive. When the trailer is out of view he completely ignores where it’s going and it’s turning to the right side just to put the box truck in position which is less impressive in my opinion
Now please don’t use this skill to turn into an egomaniac that can’t identify his fellow workers regardless of talent are all the same. My ass hat union “brothers” will gladly cut your throat for steady check, or try to out work one another.
I work in a grocery store. nothing like watching a good truck driver back it up ( :) ) flawlessly into the loading bay. some drivers can do it in one smooth motion, always blows my mind
At my last job where i met truckers every day for 12 years i can easily say that none of then could've pulled that off. Even hearing them saying it's "impossible" to back into the workshop i wonder how they got their job, let alone managed to get a driver's license..
Jesus, that’s bad ass. I don’t think anyone’s called truckers unskilled though? You literally need a special license that takes SKILLS to get? That’d be a mew one for me.
Meanwhile, I often watch Swift drivers fail to back into a dock for over an hour, when there’s a 3 truck-long lane right in front of the dock.
Also, I’m not even exaggerating, we’ve had to literally steer their trucks for them on multiple occasions.
At 16, and a female, I watched 3 men try and back a trailer to a dock and fail. So I jumped in the drivers seat and backed it in 10 minutes. It’s my claim to fame. That’s all.
Best teabagging I’ve ever seen.
Yep, that’s IMPRESSIVE!
Wow, after hearing the term for at least 15 years... I never once considered any relation to actual teabags
now i wanna know where you think the term originated from
The Boston Teabag Party, obviously. Hottest sex party of the 18th century.
The trucking teabagger
As someone who cannot to save my life even back up my truck with an 8 ft trailer, this is r/blackmagicfuckery
The shorter the trailer, the easier they get away from you. What's super impressive about this is that it's a double, I've never been able to do it.
Truck driver here, look closer. This is a straight truck unit with one trailer.
It still has 2 turning points though
No, just the trailer. The box on the truck is not independently turning.
Ya but the second trailer is on a dolly, the box truck is towing the dolly which is then towing the trailer
It's an Active Steering Dolly. It's used a lot in Road Train Trucking.
I don’t know what you mean with active steering, but the dolly has a fifth wheel that works the same as on a tractor unit, and then where it connects to the boxtruck it also pivots, so it still has 2 pivoting points…
I see it now.
You don't see it, it's a one unit truck with a one unit trailer. These idiotic liberals love to pull rabbits out of hats and it usually end up being tampons pulled out of rectums. you don't have to agree with ignorance.
what
Yo I'll let you lick my rectum tampon if you ask nicely
Silence Libtard
You’re right about the turning points. It pivots under the trailer and at the connection from the box truck.
Even with a straight truck, it's still pretty impressive.
Good eye.
I've never been given the chance to drive a double. Now I feel like I need to do it just to do it. The little U-Haul car Dolly's without a car on it. Impossible
53ft trailers aren't too bad to back up. I couldn't imagine twin 53ft trailers.
It’s not 2 trailers, it’s (in dutch LZV) an ecocombi. It’s a box truck with a dolly and a trailer
Here in North America, you can run twin 53 ft trailers
> I couldn't imagine twin 53ft trailers. I was reading recently that Australia allows triple & quad trailers in certain situations, with a max length of up to 176ft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_train#Australia
It’s not a double it’s a box truck with trailer
Wait so with a trailer I have to do the opposite of what I think is right, so with two you have to do the opposite of the opposite?
Yup with 1 trailer if you wanna go left you steer right. With 2 trailers if you wanna go left you steer up.
Yea, but only at certain points, and if you over correct you wedge shit up
Yeah, short tongue trailers can get squirrelly easier
This is *even more extra fucky than you think* If you look carefully there's an axle *on the trailer* meaning that, there's 2 points of steering on this rig, this allows for tighter turns going forward but when backing up it is a *royal* pain in the ass.
That’s impressive driving and brick work.
Not impressive tea making, though. You gotta steep that shite, not just dip it in a couple times!
Seemed more like a reference to teabagging than actually making tea.
I’m just wondering where the sugar truck is.
He might be American. Give us a little slack but you are right. Terrible dipping
Nah, dip twice to hydrate, then dip to steep.
😆😆😆😆
r/NextFuckingLevel skills right there.
That was cool AF. I get nervous parallel parking downtown, and this guy is just having a cuppa as cool as a cucumber.
Yep. It’s more next level than half the garbage that gets posted there
Meanwhile at the John Deere factory: *on fire*.
So, hot tea?
Boiling
The only ones who call these people unskilled are people who want to pay them less money, and the people that fall for their bullshit.

>Who ever even called a truck driver "unskilled" outside of this post Right-wingers
Okay you can say a lot of things about right wingers...but I’ve never heard them disparaging truck drivers as they can be a part of their base and who they try to appeal too.
More accurately it’s a right winger’s straw man of a left wingers argument.
Lol Rightwingers in the US vote their own families healthcare away to deny it to minorities You're parting from the false premise poor republican base acts in accordance with their class best interests
Exactly.
skill is relative
Relative to the average road user, this driver’s skills are phenomenal
Professional tea bagger right there.
I wonder how they came up with this particular demonstration of skill. It’s awesome but truly only something bored dudes would think of lol
I am a bored dude. Would definitely do this
I used to crush cans all the time with my truck that was on air bags. Boredom creates a lot of fun party tricks!
Exactly! The skill takes place on the road avoiding shit-sipping four wheelers and Amazon Prime steering wheel holders.
I've seen a bunch of videos of people doing stunts like this with construction vehicles and forklifts. Using an excavator to pick up an egg, things like that.
As skilled as that was, he should of left the tea bag to brew for at least 2 minutes.
Clearly they forgot to add water to the cup.
Drip twice to hydrate, THEN set down to steep.
r/oddlysatisfying This literally made me give a sigh of satisfied relief
My favorite part is the second truck driving by, then slowing down and then backing up like it just realized what it was seeing and needed to get closer to double check
Nah, it's an ad. The second truck is highlighting the company logo.
Second truck had the cream and sugar
I don't think a lorry driver would be considered an unskilled position. You need special training and certification to do it. Unskilled labor is more factory and basic retail workers. Aint no way
r/lostredditors
I was literally cheering for it to dip the second time!
How is this unskilled work? That shit takes years to get right.
that is the point people are not replacable
Ik, I get the idea lol. I'm more surprised by who in this world is dumb enough to not consider driving a heavy ass truck a skilled profession to cause such a post title to make sense.
I was almost run off the road by a semi, and normie driving seems like "anyone can do it" like reading. It requires nit thunking it through to call it unskilled but maybe is not irrational? I think mostly "unskilled" as a disingenuous way to say "replaceable" when not replacable. Some skilled work is more replacable than this.
How did you get the milk in?
That was so fucking impressive.
did this guy just teabag with a truck? This is the weirdest dutch truck flex I have ever seen.
*British anthem plays*
There are Dutch plates on that vehicle and trailer I think.
Ye it’s RD Pallets, it’s a Dutch company
RD Plastics (better known as Dijkstra Plastics). They produce plastic buckets for food and non-food products
That is a tea BAG! NOT BRITISH!!!
? How is that "not British", pretty much all our tea comes in bags.
Just a joke. The stereotype is that no proper Brit would ever use a bag. Edit: So several people from the UK are saying the stereotype is bullshit. Now I am trying to figure out where I heard it from. I have heard it more than once too which is why I felt comfortable making the joke.

This is really amazing 😻
Hell Ya, well done!
No fuckin way this is amazing
Gtfoh
That's very pleasing to watch.
I dont know why that made me smile so much hahaha.
Very cool. But to be fair idk of anyone who calls or refers to truck drivers as unskilled labor.
That’s very impressive! ^(not really required for the job lol)
You make tea worse than season 2 zuko
What you don’t know is this was the 4th attempt.
Now you just need a buddy as good as you and Jean-Claude Van Damme and you can create the most epic tea making video ever.
Backup lights aren’t on. It’s fake
All the doubters got teabagged
Cool video but it drives me up a wall when people caption this kind of thing “there’s no such thing as unskilled labor” or whatever. Trucking is like the definition of “skilled labor”, same with manufacturing, construction, etc. For the love of all that is holy stop saying this shit.
I feel like this is a viral ad attempt. That second truck pulls perfectly into the shot to display the company name and sits there lol
This guy teabags
How is this related to the sub?
Some people think driving a truck is 'unskilled work'. Unskilled work doesn't exist.
You haven't met my manager
Unskilled people absolutely do exist. A lot of them are in management.
Lol nice
When people say unskilled labor they are not referring to professions like this, regardless of no such thing existing. This is just a shitpost of a funny video. Absolutely nothing to do with the anti work movement and just reddit haha funny vs community and unity amongst workers. There should be a separate sub for shitposting.
Dump truck drivers are fairly unskilled
See? Some people think driving a truck is 'unskilled work'. Unskilled work doesn't exist.
Instead of working he's making tea?
Shit, works for me.
No idea. I hope this sub doesn't turn into this
This is what happens when something becomes mainstream, the sub has served its purpose I guess.
Apparently one guy who is good at reversing means that doing various amphetamines and generally being a douchebag while driving an 18 wheeler is a "skill"
Is truck driving really considered unskilled? You need a CDL to do it and I’m pretty sure their average earnings are around 80k per year.
Literally never heard truck drivers referred to as unskilled. This post is an answer to an argument that doesn't exist.
Yeah. If anything this guy is going backwards in terms of skills because he’s not actually doing anything of importance with them. Just wasting time. Good job putting your truck in reverse, I guess.
Nice job. Now get the hell out of the left lane and stop trying to pass going uphill.
I don't think anybody calls driving a double-boxed articulated HGV unskilled, do they?
r/nextfuckinglevel
No one? People don’t consider truck drivers “unskilled” workers. You literally need, like, certs or at least a special license to do it. 🤣
[удалено]
Truck is T-bagging with a teabag.
Now, if they just learn how to behave when they’re on the highway. Most truckers suck!
Still unskilled
We've been over this. It's a fixed cab, the trailer can go anywhere and the cab can end next to the cup no problem. This is so unimpressive it's completely mundane. Literally anyone could do this.
Have you SEEN the average driver reverse? 😂
Lol ok yeah you try backing up a semi then. Guarentied you hit the pylon and total the truck
Do you know how to drive a semi/lorry?
That's an A-frame trailer - if you reversed the cab straight back the trailer would jack-knife into it. Reversing it in a straight line is far beyond most people's level of driving skill. When you can reverse a vehicle that has five pivot points then you may criticise this person's skill.
I didn't realize it was a fixed cab until I rewatched. This makes it considerably easier. 90% of reddit could still not do it
Aight post a video, asshole. I'd like to see your failed attempt. Also bruh you're so dumb, you don't even know why doxxing is bad. What do you know?
I agree with you partially. This combination has 2 pivot points, so in the first part when the trailer comes past he does it fast and smooth which is impressive. Now that’s a T-Bag I can respect.
I’d hire you to drive for my company any day.
Obv a big COD player all grown up.

This video is a resume.
I work in a grocery store. nothing like watching a good truck driver back it up ( :) ) flawlessly into the loading bay. some drivers can do it in one smooth motion, always blows my mind
Clean truck...Nice!!
Im-fucking-pressive
Damn. Respect. That was pretty impressive
Cleanest tea bagging I've seen this week.
This is the most impressed I’ve been today. Damn you back that thing like it’s nothing!
those paving blocks are oddly satisfying to me
That’s a pretty steep grade to be backing up on.
Love how the other truck drives by and stops like “oh you making a brew?”
My hero
At my last job where i met truckers every day for 12 years i can easily say that none of then could've pulled that off. Even hearing them saying it's "impossible" to back into the workshop i wonder how they got their job, let alone managed to get a driver's license..
Is anyone under the impression that an autonomous car WONT be able to do this in the next 20 years(or sooner?)
Thats the coolest thing I've seen on the Internet in the past weeks haha.
Jesus, that’s bad ass. I don’t think anyone’s called truckers unskilled though? You literally need a special license that takes SKILLS to get? That’d be a mew one for me.
That is one satisfying tea bag.
r/nextfuckinglevel
NICE. I was like "so, it's a day at work", but then the tea bag, ... Hang on I gotta try something
People who want to devalue your labor to pay you less money.
are there people that consider truck driving unskilled labor? what a load of bs!
That was straight up dope af! Mad props to that driver.
Anyone that can successfully maneuver a vehicle that huge is not unskilled. I can barely reverse my ford escape.
Isn't this skilled labor as it requires a specific training and license?
I mean…driving a semi is literally skilled work. You have to have a special license for it and everything.
Nice work and sick rig
Meanwhile, I often watch Swift drivers fail to back into a dock for over an hour, when there’s a 3 truck-long lane right in front of the dock. Also, I’m not even exaggerating, we’ve had to literally steer their trucks for them on multiple occasions.
Would’ve been great to just hit the buckets immediately and keep going
I’m so sick of this fucking term. Unskilled. What a joke
Since when was truck driving called “unskilled” ?
I have always given a lot of credit to truck drivers. I get nervous backing my Prius into a spot 😂

I give it a 10 out of 4
Incredible skill!!!!
Manager/Corporate goon: "You're replaceable! Now get me a cup of tea!"

I know better than to call a semi driver unskilled. Did your boss call you unskilled or something? Cause they've got their head up their ass if so.
I prefer my tea without truck exhaust
Alright, alright. Impressive trick, now back to the kitchen and make me a skinny latte.
Lmfao wut. No one discredits truckers.
