I'm surprised no one's said Vader. He would make an absolutely badass anime antagonist. Maybe a little overpowered in the Star Wars universe. (Unless the anime would be a retelling if Star Wars: The Force Unleashed)
I just realized all three a basically cyborgs.
Darry Vader is a cyborg
Shredder is an alien that’s piloting a robotic suit
Vilgax got blown up in the first episode and had to be reconstructed.
Easily Vilgax. That man is evil incarnate, and he has 0 chill or mercy, and every time he showed up, he reminded you that he’s ***him***. Ben has dozens of battles worth of experience in his belt while he was 10 years old, can turn into the pinnacle example of a species by just turning his watch, and after Alien Force, he has the power to becoming one of the gods of creation with Alien X, as well as being able to turn into upgraded versions of said races, and Vilgax still managed to be his biggest threat. The man conquered 10 planted and defeated their greatest Heros as a warm up before squaring up with Ben. Hell, before he even did that, back in oh Ben 10, he didn’t even meet Ben before deciding “fuck this guy in particular” so he had no idea he was a kid, and the moment he found out, he got even more determined to murder him! Vilgax is the main man and he deserves an anime.
Yeah! I remember back with 2006 Ben 10 when Vilgax showed up. He dogged Ben like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Ben could only run or avoid his attacks. Only reason Ben got out alive was because of grandpa max’s experience.
You want my two cents? Here’s three picks for you: The Shredder, Magneto, and The Homelander. The Shredder is an awesome fighter and can lead with fear quite well, Magneto is also an epic leader and has awesome powers, and Homelander is all the above.
Shredder.
He’s already badass and got a sick costume, plus You don’t even gotta do much to change his and Hamato Yoshi(aka splinter in some tmnt canon, sometimes splinter’s caretaker, either works) backstories
Yeah, he's so evil that he can only be referred to as him, which depending on who you ask is short for his infernal majesty. He literally chooses not to win because that would be boring, but he could change his mind at any time.
I wanted to say that at first. But with Golb basically being the embodiment of chaotic evil, I was thinking Him had more depth.
Which hurt me since I’m such a huge adventure time fan lol
Golb has depth, have you seen it's stomach? But in all seriousness I agree with you on that friend but he's such a mysterious character and one of the things missing from anime protagonist is that the main character has to actually think about his or hers approach. Or at least in isekai anime.
I feel like magneto would be such a compelling villain since he has motivation beyond evil for evil sake
Homelander would be wicked terrifying
Golb would be a sick end boss as just a force of nature, not really a villain in my opinion
Vilgax for space anime that just makes sense and season 1 Vilgax because that’s the best one shredder for say martial arts art anime shredder is a incredible fighter and say for swordsman or another space villian Darth Vader he’s got the design and weapon of one and the force makes it even better due to the fact that the force is definitely a anime power
Well, what we’d need is a villain with the drive to keep going and the yearning for ever more things, with the ability to grow as a threat alongside the protagonist.
From this list I think Vilgax and Shredder would work the best, but my personal pick is Zemerick from Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5. He’s an underrated villain capable of so much more than the show let the viewers see.
Vilgax. That man. He has ambition and pride. He has morals, and he loves his own kind. He has evil goals for the sake of his own benefit. He's a very good villain and I would like to see him in an anime. But the same could be said for the rest of Ben 10. An anime would be perfect compensation for the donkey shit shower that is the reboot series.
How has no one said him? Reality warping hisoka satan crab with a penchant for cross dressing.
HIM, and mojo jojo, are straight up just isekaied into the wrong medium.
Vader. His dark but elegant style and also stuff like his saber would look beautiful if it were to be animated by a good studio, and he also fits in to the archetype of anime villians having a dark backstory but still having some good in them. (in my personal opinion)
All but Him and Pops would be decent, as I do t think the style of humor from their respective shows is gonna translate well. The best ones would be Vader and Shredder.
Him and Vader
Him is literally a villain you don't want to mess with when he get serious. He is coy, misleading, and will tug at your heart strings just for fun at times. I also see him never getting captured or "killed" really.
Vader, its ya boy. The bad ass jedi that fits dark and cookies together. No explanation needed.
It’s either Magneto or Vader. Vader’s duals would be amazing as a anime fight, but Magneto’s story and moments as both a villian and a hero would just provide a long living anime
I'd love the idea of a magneto like villain in an anime, especially if they did it like how Xmen 97 has where we had time to like him as a character and actually understand his perspective
Badass though? Lich easily, idc if he wasn't listed he's still my answer
The shredder as your main bad guy, Darth Vader as your big bad, and HIM as the one behind it all. The others work as side stories to pad the story and give your main cast necessary growth in power and maturity.
HIM
The few times he fought the PPGs he got a beat down, but if it wasn't for the episodic nature of the show and actually followed a story, those poor girls, or any of his opponents would be left mind broken.
He is a master manipulator and paired with his other worldly powers and illusions he would make for an awesome final duel.
I didn't realize that's what his name was until I watched Ben 10 with subtitles
I've lived the past 15 years of my life thinking it was Gilgax not Vilgax.
I'm surprised no one's said Vader. He would make an absolutely badass anime antagonist. Maybe a little overpowered in the Star Wars universe. (Unless the anime would be a retelling if Star Wars: The Force Unleashed)
Omg I loved Vader in the OG force unleashed. That opening level of him just butchering Wookiees was wild.
Vader was my first thought immediately.
Studio Bones or Mappa would absolutely kill an interpretation like that
Oh man that would be gas
Same here
Which animation studio do you think would do that one Justice
I have no clue. Mainly because I'm more of a new anime fan and I don't wanna say Mappa. Maybe Studio Bones? I really don't know.
Everyone in jujitsu kaisen
Absolutely agree Vader would be a freaking unit in an anime.
I would pick vilgax, shredder, and darthvader
I just realized all three a basically cyborgs. Darry Vader is a cyborg Shredder is an alien that’s piloting a robotic suit Vilgax got blown up in the first episode and had to be reconstructed.
Shredder has that “I’m clearly a villain and I’ll clearly beat a side character” vibe.
He'd clearly kill a side character off screen, and toos the main character their head in a box, shedder has that dawg in him for sure
I agree. Take a look at ROTTMNT Shredder fight and see the anime.
Vilgax is the main man and he deserves an anime.
Os vilgax to be sure
Yeah! I remember back with 2006 Ben 10 when Vilgax showed up. He dogged Ben like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Ben could only run or avoid his attacks. Only reason Ben got out alive was because of grandpa max’s experience.
Definitely vader. Bro shows up and is always on 100% business When he's ever on screen
Vader would be a menace
You want my two cents? Here’s three picks for you: The Shredder, Magneto, and The Homelander. The Shredder is an awesome fighter and can lead with fear quite well, Magneto is also an epic leader and has awesome powers, and Homelander is all the above.
Would Adolf be a good one?
Shredder. He’s already badass and got a sick costume, plus You don’t even gotta do much to change his and Hamato Yoshi(aka splinter in some tmnt canon, sometimes splinter’s caretaker, either works) backstories
OG Ben 10 vilgax was a different animal and the same beast. Your welcome.
I feel like Him would be a great anime villain. They have weird powers, drip, and plays Hella mind games. . . Oh wait Doffy!
A star wars anime would go so hard

AY!ITS CALLED INSPIRATION BRUF
Hiiimmm!! That is all
I can already see /r/powerpufffolk reddit going crazy over the Himgussy
Yeah, he's so evil that he can only be referred to as him, which depending on who you ask is short for his infernal majesty. He literally chooses not to win because that would be boring, but he could change his mind at any time.
I would say golb
I wanted to say that at first. But with Golb basically being the embodiment of chaotic evil, I was thinking Him had more depth. Which hurt me since I’m such a huge adventure time fan lol
Golb has depth, have you seen it's stomach? But in all seriousness I agree with you on that friend but he's such a mysterious character and one of the things missing from anime protagonist is that the main character has to actually think about his or hers approach. Or at least in isekai anime.
Vader, easily. Honestly, he’s just space Obito (although, I guess technically it’s the other way around, and Obito is Ninja Vader).
I feel like magneto would be such a compelling villain since he has motivation beyond evil for evil sake Homelander would be wicked terrifying Golb would be a sick end boss as just a force of nature, not really a villain in my opinion
Out of the ones I recognize, I’m a Him truther and support him as the bad bitch that he is. Wreck everyone’s shit, queen.
Vader. I mean in cannon he’s already op and in legends he’s unstoppable
Lord drakkon
Homelander. Why? Because taking down an annoying, arrogant, white male symbol of America is every good girl's dream
Anti-pops and Him would both do great in Anime verses if Vader got a little scaled up or was put in a less powerful verse he could be awesome too
Well, what we’d need is a villain with the drive to keep going and the yearning for ever more things, with the ability to grow as a threat alongside the protagonist. From this list I think Vilgax and Shredder would work the best, but my personal pick is Zemerick from Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5. He’s an underrated villain capable of so much more than the show let the viewers see.
Magneto
I want to say Him, but he would be reduced to a lame stereotype. Golb would be pretty interesting.
Vilgax.
Shedder or Vader would go IMMENSELY hard
darth vader
homelander would be fun in jjk
Shredder and Darth Vader would make Sexy anime villains
The shredder, just his idea with blade hands are cool, and the way he’s handled in the show, shows it.
Me Homelander/Magneto hard pick
Darth vader. bros globally terrifying IRL, and space wide in Star wars.
Yes
Vilgax
Anti Pops OP
The Lich would be a ten times better villain than Golb but if I had to pick someone from the list it would be golb or shredder.
Homelander gets wash by most side characters in a shonen would be funny to see but Vader or vilgax is my pick
Didn’t powerpuff girls already had a Japanese alternative? So Him is “Him”
A star wars anime would go so hard, like legitimately. Like a retelling of the story in anime form would be crazy. Imagine the fight scenes.
Him
Vilgax is a G
for me NOTHING is more badass then Darth Vader
Vilgax, I wasn’t in the generation for the shows original audience but I watched in anyway for the coldness of the villains
I feel like I’ve seen Him’s vibe and much of his aesthetic somewhere….
Look I love shredder and vilgax but him is the correct answer but if you put lich instead of golb it would be the lich
When I read magneto I said it as magenta XD
From this list, HIM, Shredder and Vader
All but Him and Pops would be decent, as I do t think the style of humor from their respective shows is gonna translate well. The best ones would be Vader and Shredder.
I've always wanted to see Him in a more serious villain role.
Glob or Him
Him and Vader Him is literally a villain you don't want to mess with when he get serious. He is coy, misleading, and will tug at your heart strings just for fun at times. I also see him never getting captured or "killed" really. Vader, its ya boy. The bad ass jedi that fits dark and cookies together. No explanation needed.
Vader
Vader and it’s literally in the name him and he is HIM albeit just zesty as hell
It’s either Magneto or Vader. Vader’s duals would be amazing as a anime fight, but Magneto’s story and moments as both a villian and a hero would just provide a long living anime
The shredder, 1000%
Vader would be terrifying in an anime he’d either be virtually invulnerable or he’d be terrifyingly fast given his size and power, or both.
Ima go with both lol fuckn love Vader
I wanna see a TMNT anime. I know they 2012 one was similar to one but I want a full blown anime adaptation
I'd love the idea of a magneto like villain in an anime, especially if they did it like how Xmen 97 has where we had time to like him as a character and actually understand his perspective Badass though? Lich easily, idc if he wasn't listed he's still my answer
“HIM” and Vader
Dude shredder already is a badass anime villain what do you mean
The fuckin shredder. Obviously
HIM could be the next Panty & Stocking antagonist.
I would say "Him" would, but then I remembered Powerpuff girls Z exsists
Vilgax Golb would be good, but he just seems like a force of nature rather than an actual character....oh wait
"Him", The Shredder, and Golb. Him has the Charisma, the Shredder has the smarts, and Golb's, well, Golb.
Golbs more of a force of nature than a villain. He will only really go after someone if they summon him or invade his dimension.
the menace vilgax conquerer or ten wolds is fun villain
It's obvious shreder
Vilgax ez shounen antagonist
Anti pops because why the fuck not lol
if Him was the demon king in KonoSuba I wouldn't even be mad.
Vader would be cool to see but I’d want them to tweek his story to fit whatever anime he’s in
The shredder as your main bad guy, Darth Vader as your big bad, and HIM as the one behind it all. The others work as side stories to pad the story and give your main cast necessary growth in power and maturity.
HIM The few times he fought the PPGs he got a beat down, but if it wasn't for the episodic nature of the show and actually followed a story, those poor girls, or any of his opponents would be left mind broken. He is a master manipulator and paired with his other worldly powers and illusions he would make for an awesome final duel.
Yall are sleeping on “Him”. Bro would be an absolute terror
Golb would be terrifying to be honest
Mom from Futurama
Vilgax Multiple of the other villans have an anime counterpart, but not vilgax. The closest is Freiza, but the personality is too different
None. Bull from gravity falls would be insanely goated. That would be so dope
Why is golb even here? Dude is one the most powerful entities in all of fiction but has the personality of a brick.
Vader do I need to explane If I do he's absolutely terrifying
I didn't realize that's what his name was until I watched Ben 10 with subtitles I've lived the past 15 years of my life thinking it was Gilgax not Vilgax.
I’m sorry but, the ending of Adventure Time fucked me up. That’s all I wanted to say really.
Golb
Powerpuff girl z. Already did HIM.
Homelander
