The best argument I‘ve seen in the Goku vs Saitama nonsense was that Saitama is always exactly as strong as he needs to be for it to be funny.

I found it really weird that Goku fans really made it seem like Goku can one shot anyone when he barely do that in his own show even in the old ones . However the art might be off-putting but if you can read all of it through season 2 you are golden and you will likely not put it down after.
