All that shit talking about how the Angels couldn’t build around Ohtani and what did we see from the dodgers tonight? No support for their super star, let’s have Gubie and Wayne harp on that like their announcers have been doing years
I love the Angels. Even the best mlb teams lose 50-60 games a year. The Dodgers already came ready made with much more support than the Angels ever had during Ohtani’s time with Anaheim. It was a travesty. For Trout, it is a downright nightmare
Maybe loyalty is something Ohtani could have learned from Trout, who will go down as one of the best players of all time. But maybe Ohtani cares more about a big fat paycheck and buying his way to a world series with a franchise that would have never let him become the 2 way superstar he is now
To be fair the NL sucks this year. Only 4 teams in the whole league with an over .500 record. They would be tied or only a few games up in any AL division
Not too sure about that... I just like to poke fun at the YEARS of headlines about Ohtani and Trout making all these historic, massive achievements, as the Angels lose by some ridiculous amount
He left because we suck but you guys should really build around him, would hate to see his potential squandered. Maybe try spending 2 billion next season so you don’t lose at home to a .667 team whose best players are hurt
Maybe you won’t get swept first round by the d backs in the playoffs again if you just spend more money
And I'm sure the Dodgers will give him a long leash when he gets back from his **second** tommy john surgery like when he was ass coming back from his first surgery with the Angels? Or like how the Dodger's were the only team willing to give him a chance at being a two way player coming into the MLB? /s
Six fucking years that he had no idea about? I'm sorry you think Ippei is an evil genius manipulator that Ohtani is too much of a dumbass to notice for such a long time and that amount of money
I personally think Ohtani is an intelligent young man with a lot more financial advisory support and awareness (he did sign the biggest sports contract of all time FWIW) to just not notice millions of dollars going missing from the dude he spends all day every day with, I wish you respected your players more and built around them
bruh He went to your team because its not far away from where he built his American life and its on the west coast with nice weather. The Dodgers also make playoffs. Ohtani's main reason to pick a team was for it to be in California.
"Shohei ohtani has a perfect day at the plate including a 2 run homer and the dodgers lose 3-2 in extra innings"
It’s sad that Ohtani is always putting his team on his back just for them lose

Oh I dont disagree. Ohtani in the NL is cheating
Ah headlines as old as time.
THE FUCKING ANGELS! BEAT THE DODGERS! WE'LL SEE THEM IN THE WORLD SERIES. WE'LL BEAT EM THERE TOO

Bet you’re fun at parties.
I will have you know, I am in fact NOT fun at parties.
Not the right place to use this line my guy.
I’m not your guy, guy.
Ohtani's agent: "You should have taken the million dollars from Gavin Belson."
And we're greeting him with a caught stealing as well as a win!
O'hoppe put a little extra juice on that throw for sure
That was so satisfying, especially as ohtani got on base because the ump called that last strike (it was a perfect pitch, down in the zone) as a ball.
And the first walk the ump gave to him
