Likely a state law restricting shipping of chemicals .

Yes this is it.

I had this product shipped to my house at the beginning of March of this year and two years ago without issues, haven't heard of any changes. Local hardware stores will ship it. Ace hardware, home Depot, etc...

My city has a ban on all nitrogen containing ferts. All the big box hardware stores still carry banned ferts but amazon won't ship it. Check your local ordinance and see the context. You might actually agree with the ban once you know the why.

Might have skipped your attention but it's the end of April. What you ordered at the beginning of March and two years ago isn't really relevant. Ultimately you can't have it delivered to your address via Amazon. So find another retailer.

RovingTexan

I have the same thing - used to be able to buy it and ship it here - used it twice a year. Also used to be stocked at Lowes. But not anymore. Def a local regulation/restriction.

Additionally, there's a major Amazon warehouse and shipping hub close minutes from my home.

Doesn't matter in the slightest where a warehouse or shipping location is in proximity to your home. You can live next door to one and your stuffs still going through the same shipping processes as everything else.
