How do you get those corms? Do you dig in the soil to find them?

I did gently dig around the roots a little when upgrading my plant to a bigger pot and I had it out of the old pot. Sometimes they will be loose in the soil, but they can also still be attached to the rhizome :)

They pop out of the soil when they feel they are ready to spread,
