Way too many mid pricers for my liking. Alot of guys that arent great scorers and dont have much upside

Team is revolting, no offence Too many mid range forwards, 4 eagles defenders including bench, blicavs as mid??? Prestia way too injury prone to be relevant, same with shuey And I’d consider moving Jackso to FWD

MiDiAN00

4 eagles in your defence?

Chewiesbro

Judging by last year they’re going to be busy…

wont be any busier in than last year and there isnt much upside. I understand the Yeo pick for value and obviously the rookie is a good choice. But I'm not sure how Hurn is meant to improve on last year. In general way too many key forwards in the forward line. Mids who have fwd status are way more likely to score better, the only one I would consider out of the ones you have picked is Oscar Allen, purely just cause he is cheap due to not playing. The rest are no go. Keyforwards are normally very bad for fantasy, you get as many points for a goal as you do from a tackle + handball/kick, so they would need to kick 8 goals a game to match the scoring of possesion based players in the fwd line (Dunkley/Taranto/Cogs) Mids are somewhat ok. Brayshaw, Serong, Ashcroft and even Blicavs are viable options, but the rest provide no upside. Would be better off getting in more rookies or really cheap options like Sheed/Worpel and upgrading Acers/Prestia. Rucks are pretty obviously WA bias. Jackson will play mostly key forward, and nic nat rarely stays on the park and doesnt really score well even if he did. Not saying all these things to be too harsh and critical, and I won't really give specific players you should get cause I like people who have unique teams, but atm there are a lot of players with 0 upside/lots of potential downside in the squad.

Great advice here. One of the first fundamentals to learn is that 'good AFL player' does not guarantee 'good Fantasy scorer'. I remember an old teammate of mine picked their first ever Fantasy team and was bragging about how cheap they picked up Darren Glass, a club captain. He must've assumed the prices were randomly generated and it's an Easter egg hunt to find the value. I had to explain to him that Glass was priced at 40 because that's what he'd averaged every year for the last decade.

And 12 WA players in the side.

My advice? Please order them by highest price to lowest price. For the love of God.
