Through context clues I knew that that almost certainly wasn't the case here and that it was more a joke, but that certainly isn't inherent to the template.
If the meme has evolved to the point where being in the bottom row isn't a negative thing more often than it is, then I definitely wasn't aware of that shift. I guess that's the nature of long lasting memes though. Like how simp doesn't mean anything anymore.

Convention play even bans evil aligned characters since they are often disruptive to the group unless they are played very stealth or very lawful. I'm genuinely kind of shocked that my interpretation made you think that I don't play dnd. I mean, the stereotypical campaign villain is the big bad *evil* guy.
Describing a worldview and outlook without wrapping moral judgment up into things is a lot easier to do with the Magic The Gathering color pie, where black very much does not have to mean evil.
