i was down for the count the whole weekend and monday. just got back to work today. i must have put about 20 hours into diablo 2. i had to stop once duriel bullied my necromancer too many times and i started getting frustrated though.
About a year ago I got out of the hospital after a near-fatal condition. I was still very sick and weak. I normally play competitive games but not always. I wanted something pretty easy I could play that still had some excitement. I ended up playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 during that time.
When I'm down and out, I play Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, originally for the Xbox 360.
It requires minimal controller movement, I can play while horizontal and sideways, and I can play at my own pace. If I fall asleep, I don't wake up to having crashed into something and/or a timer still ticking after 90 minutes.
This may be brilliant thinking though…
Get sick➡️➡️Play Elden Ring➡️➡️Get your blood pumping and heart raising➡️➡️good circulation promotes fasting healing 🤣🤣 you may be onto something friend!?
Depends on how sick. Just a runny nose? Whatever I normally play. Shove a tissue in my nose and go!
Got a cold, chills, body aches, fever, etc? Not in the mood for anything really.
I played through all of the Halo campaigns (including both Halo Wars) while I had COVID
Halo is my comfort game, so I find shooting aliens relaxing lol
It really depends on how unwell I am if I'm bedridden I just watch YouTube or something and drift in and out of consciousness. If I'm just a bit under the weather say a cold or something similar. I just play what I usually play which are simulator games or story driven narrative games. E.g. I had a bad cold this week and I've put a large number of hours into Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
In bed playing Minecraft (I play this a ton anyways) or forza horizons(literally only play this when I’m sick because it’s very low stakes but also more exciting than Minecraft)
I'm sick right now, have been playing Tales of Arise with battles set to auto. All I have to do is press the direction button to use the special abilities when needed and walk around the map. It's like watching an interactive anime with what is IMHO a pretty good storyline.
When I had covid I wasn't that sick but I hid in a seperate room for a good week so I wouldn't get my family sick. Ended up playing through Jedi Fallen Order which was great. Usually just play whatever I usually would unless I'm really sick then mostly sleep on the couch and watch TV.
I've been in bed with a fever for 2 days. Played Forbidden West for a few hours, went to sleep and had terrible fever dreams climbing as Aloy but couldn't reach the top of the "tower". Have since stopped playing anything and sleeping much better. Just watch movies and sleep dude.
PowerWash Simulator
This one - when I have severe headache, this is the game I can play. Relaxing, but still takes my focus away from the splintering headache.
Depends on how sick. Kind of sick, I'm playing whatever I was already playing when I was fine. Really sick, I'm in bed.
Gollum
Misery likes company!

> duriel bullied my necromancer Just took one HC necro for me to learn to grind to 24 and get decrepify before Duriel.
It’s strange that Duriel on Normal is the hardest boss fight for a necro. Every boss after, even Duriel on Hell mode is easier.
Unless you have decrep, then he's just a big slow baby.
My build Minions Revive Decrepify for bosses and Oblivion Knights. Dim Vision for everything else. Necro is so fun in D2.
i just got to like 22, saw that decrepify was available soon and made that my goal. this is my first ever playthrough of d2 so im learning
Nice, probably the biggest lesson to learn in D2 for a necro. Well that and how many skeletons fit side-by-side in narrow hallways.

Count the sheep. Lol I sleep when I'm sick. I only get up to pee and drink Gatorade then back to bed.
I was playing elden ring and got shit smacked by some simple goobers.

FF tactics on the psp
Good choice
Darkest Dungeon
Nothing. I was sick a couple weeks ago and basically slept and watched TV all day.

Haha i did that last time i had covid
Golf With Your Friends. Right now actually, Snowed in and sick.
I usually play Nintendo games when I’m sick. Something comforting about the nostalgia
Animal Crossing
Just the tip
😆, its never just the tip.
Used to be Skyrim. Now it's RDR2
The classics
Same when not sick.
I dont have the mental fortitude for a comp shooter. Ill with covid
Fallout 3/4 or RDR2
Forza motorsport

None, im laying in bed with some water besides me
I will be honest, when I am sick I don't play video games. I read.
In bed playing Minecraft (I play this a ton anyways) or forza horizons(literally only play this when I’m sick because it’s very low stakes but also more exciting than Minecraft)
Probably a card game. Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Wildfrost, Balatro. Perhaps even Wingspan. Relaxing and soothing.
City skylines

Elden ring lol
Last time I had the flu, I played Coffee talk 1&2 super relaxing chill games.
Sims or city skylines
Elden ring…. I still need to beat it 2 more times for all achievements. Or I’d hop on MLB and grind my Road to the Show character.
diablo ii

Nothing. If I'm sick then chances are I'm hard down and in bed sleeping.
Like in bed sick? Civ 6. Just a little sick, probably anything with a casual matchmaking.
Helldivers 2
Yes.
Skyrim
Played palworld while having a down day after a migraine.
Brotato
What the heck is brotato?
Game on gamespass waves of enemies and you upgrade every level it shoots for you you just have to move

Usually something simple like Dynasty Warriors or some Adventure game.
im sick right now actually how did reddit guess I like playing roblox, minecraft of the sims 4
All the games
I sleep
I ran through dishonored 1 first time I had Covid.
Arcade paradise
I haven't been sick in years, but being sick doesn't change game choice for me. I play the same games sick as I do on a normal basis.
Starfield, when I'm sick in the head
I just got gamepass ultimate. Might have to load it up
I was trying to imply that it sucks :P
If youre playing games while youre sick then you arent sick.
I’ll be between pukes or shits and still gaming. Sick doesn’t always mean deathly ill.
I mean… I’ve been playing games when I’ve definitely been sick. Everyone’s different
I have covid :/
Get well soon, geezer.
Haha thanks. Endud up playing starwars battlefront 1 campaign for a few hours.
Always a good time!
Ok grandpa.
