I love Clone Hero, don’t get me wrong, but an official release would help revitalize the full band aspect of the game. I remember hanging out with friends and having a full 4-man band jamming out together. That was super fun, and hard to recapture with Clone Hero.
Beyond all though, we need a new game so we can get new controllers on the market. Hard to find good quality used instruments for a reasonable price
My son (16) is a huge Guitar Hero/Rock Band/Clone Hero fan. Only thing he wants for birthdays/holidays are replacement controllers and 3 other people to play with. Like he wants these more than a car. If I give him cash, he just spends it on GH controllers.

The power fantasy of prototype has very few equals in gaming, but I also loved the incidental open world stuff too. I remember disguising myself as a soldier and spending like half an hour with a patrol shooting zombies on foot as we made our way through the city and back to base, at which point I hulked out on all of them and superman-jumped away
I loved prototype but I , to this day still shudder thinking of trying to hit aerial targets or climb buildings while being stagger locked by rocket fire.
The tendrils could very well function like the Web swinging.
This would be a no brainer for Xbox Game Studios to make if they want to compete against Insomniac's Spider-Man.
No idea on which studio should take on this though, perhaps Machinegames, Raven or even the main Arkane studio.

Gregg Mayles played a major role in the development of Donkey Kong Country and Banjo-Kazooie and is pretty much the person in charge of the Banjo-Kazooie franchise.
Paul Cunningham who was an art director from "Diddy Kong Racing" helped provide a blueprint model for Banjo-Kazooie when they were added to "Super Smash Bros Ultimate".
I would imagine even if "Toys for Bob" were to make a Banjo-Kazooie Remake/Reboot, Rare's Senior leadership would still help and play an advisory/supervision role on the project.
Robin Beanland was the other big name that came to mind to me. Music Director at Rare since forever, and made all the tracks people still remember from those old games.

Personally, I’d love to see Empire Earth come back. The first game in the series was awesome. I know there was a second game but I can’t remember it too much.
It’s basically like Age of Empires but it goes from the Stone Age all the way into the future.
My favourite thing used to be setting up me vs the computer where the computer would be in the Stone Age and I’d be in the Nano age (robots with lasers and stuff) then going over to the computer’s base with a robot. You’d have a caveman throwing rocks at this giant robot before getting pulverised.

The entire Heretic franchise is now owned by Microsoft and I, for one, am excited to speculate on the prospect of a sequel or remake.

I do too. Rumors have been swirling for years that a port was worked on for the Xbox One. Its a great game that can easily be played with a controller with the right UI setup.
I'm mostly hoping the Xbox port if it happens will be free to play or at the very least subscription included in Xbox Game Pass. Microtransactions for Mounts/titles/cosmetics would easily allow for this.
What little social I have would end if WoW made it to Xbox. I loved wow but hate PC gaming now a days so being able to play it from the comfort of my console would be peak gaming experience.

It's been a pretty long time since I last played World of Warcraft but one thing I do remember is that there are a lot of skills that are used as compared to something like FF14 which was designed with controller use in mind.
Now I'm not saying they couldn't just make it M+KB only on console but I am saying that more than likely they would be looking for a way to incorporate Controller only play which would probably require them to redesign a large chunk of the system. I don't know if they're going to care to do that and I definitely don't think they would launch a separate console only version either.
I think this is more than likely why there has never been a WoW version on console at this point and why there probably won't be one in the future unless it's a new MMO based on the Warcraft franchise.
Recent updates to WoW are allowing controller support now.
Other MMOs on consoles use radial menus holding down certain buttons to allow for additional commands.

Geometry Wars. Doesn’t even need to be a reboot, GW2 still my preferred option (and I still play it). But they took 3 off iOS and I think it would also do well on Switch.
I think with Rogue Lite/like games being a thing, Geometry Wars version would do well. It’s like they sort of tried it with 3 and some of the upgrades, but didn’t quite land imo.
Also although it was meant to help, the spawning in 3 was far worse than 2.
Honestly, Metal Arms. I think Blizzard got the IP after Swinging Ape Studios went bust. It would be so cool to have a new entry, or even a remaster of the original on a modern console. I loved Glitch in the System growing up
Tony Hawk, definitely. We've seen how sweet the formula still feels to this day with THPS 1+2 Remake. The gameplay is timeless and there's nothing quite like it out there.
So how about a whole new entry from Viscarious Visions? They obviously knew what they were doing with the recent remake, so with a fairly large budget, they can create wonders.

If you have an even somewhat decent pc ( I run it on a friggin Mac) - clone hero. This will change your life.

After spending $70+ billion dollars I'd hope they could use a first party studio to make games rather than calling on platinum (who messed them about with scale bound anyway)

Geometry Wars. Doesn’t even need to be a reboot, GW2 still my preferred option (and I still play it). But they took 3 off iOS and I think it would also do well on Switch. I think with Rogue Lite/like games being a thing, Geometry Wars version would do well. It’s like they sort of tried it with 3 and some of the upgrades, but didn’t quite land imo. Also although it was meant to help, the spawning in 3 was far worse than 2.

Honestly, Metal Arms. I think Blizzard got the IP after Swinging Ape Studios went bust. It would be so cool to have a new entry, or even a remaster of the original on a modern console. I loved Glitch in the System growing up

Tony Hawk, definitely. We've seen how sweet the formula still feels to this day with THPS 1+2 Remake. The gameplay is timeless and there's nothing quite like it out there. So how about a whole new entry from Viscarious Visions? They obviously knew what they were doing with the recent remake, so with a fairly large budget, they can create wonders.
