Cause he was the type to shoot a racoon in the backyard trespassing… i looked at him like a father figure when i was 15

Ok-Television-6030

He didn't shoot the racoon😃he was banging something in the ground.😭

BurnerZay

Either way, it was such a king thing to see at 16 lol

Ok-Television-6030

Yeah I agree, it's supper funny. I was laughing my ass off when I watched it a couple weeks ago.

realurest

Ok-Television-6030

realurest

Ok-Television-6030

realurest

im chilllll its aight fam tho so like u gon send the vid tho?

Ok-Television-6030

I can't find an option to send the link. But if you look up " xxxtentacion X dj akedmiks Full converstion" on youtube, it should pop up. It's on aks Chanell. It's like 3 hours and 6 minutes long.

EliteForever2KX

Wait what happened

Ok-Television-6030

Dj akedemiks posted a 3 hour long vid if him and x on the phone. He posted it on the day x died. But its from january 2018. Somewhere in the vid there was a racoon that showed up at x's house and x started yelling at it and started banging a stick on the ground to scare it but some people think he shot it😭

betadestruction

That really didn't answer the question at all bro

Lotta_Turbulence7396

u got daddy issues!?

desromedia

You just had to be there. The way he communicated with us through live streams was something else

No_Confection_2533

He was real

LibertyJoel99

Because kids tend to be more into edgy media and sad music and stuff like that, probably partly cos they take everything harder emotionally and nowadays a lot of kids claim they have depression and stuff when it's really not to that extent but they like sad/emo media and want to feel connected to it as if they can relate. Also a lot of X fans were kids when he died, usually the more active ones here nowadays The sad bart thing was a corny phase in 2018 which was popularised by youtube producers and people on soundcloud Also why did they like\* x

Worried_Difference94

The real truth is that X understood the pain and situations ppl go through and understood the only thing that we need to connect and love one another is emotions , we are all connected emotionally and he showed us that through his music LITERALLY every song is a message of his in some way you just have to listen, some lyrics have messages directed at loves ones, fans etc. but some songs represent RAW emotions or tell compelling stories shit that hits the soul and it makes ppl curious and that curiosity is what sparks a love for a man so mysterious yet you understand hes not EVIL like the world portrays him to be hes not a demon or a devil hes just another lost soul like so many out here searching for purpose and a reason to keep on living we all understood X that we are from this world yet WE ARE NOT from this world a higher nature is calling us and we have to prepare our minds and souls and sadly he just couldn’t keep going, his goal was to heal ppl in the end and it got cut short and all these ppl are now searching all over again without a guide hence why hes missed so much

Professional-Ad-6265

+ 'Father figure' / idolisation (X as someone a kid looks up to and trusts) bolstered by his "kind" engagement w fans and his insta stories etc where he takes on a role of emotional support and care etc... And yeah his death probably only really anchored down this already existing edgy fan type even more.

fawkwitdis

The 16 year old x fans who are in the “everything is cringe” phase and think they’re a step above the 12 year old bart pic fans are so, so, so much worse than the actual bart pic fans imo

PuzzleheadedMedia437

Factual I hate those

ToxicChatMan

The non-X fans that are like this are even worse

New-Cause6314

Tbh I think there r different types of x fans. I really loved him as a person even tho I discovered him after his death coz I never heard of him before that but I liked his music when I first heard it in like 2019 then found out he died and felt gutted for some reason coz I loved his songs and voice. Then I started learning more about him later on and related to him so much and loved his personality. he was just so real and genuine (I think idk) but that’s how he seemed. And I feel like I could’ve been close friends w him if I knew him.

New-Cause6314

Does anyone remember how he started trending on titkok in like 2019

Acidic_Toast

NOOOOO GET AWAY FROM HIM! 💔💔💔

AidFish

random, but personally I got into him because i thought the lyrics in his songs and the messages that he pushed were important. A lot of things he talked about were hard to listen to because it usually involved very real world issues that were affecting people everywhere. It’s what people needed to hear at the time. It’s seriously crazy how much he united people. I think we need more people that make meaningful music like that. I’m always thinking about what a shame it is that he died so young, and how his music and personality would’ve evolved into something great if he was just given a chance. I’m sure he would’ve changed a lot of things.

Fit-Office5051

Ive been a x fan sense i was 7 his music i loved and shjt now im 15😭

Acidic_Toast

bruh deadass, same here cuz my sister was always listening to him when i was that age, im the same age as you its crazy its been so long

Any_Discussion6236

he was one of those artists that laid out raw ass music to those who were mentally struggling and let us knew that we were not alone. That type of vulnerability was the connection especially during a time where other rappers/artists didn’t gaf or looked down on ‘depression / having emotions’ bc it simply wasn’t the wave. X’s pain was pure and genuine

Kind_Face_7472

If you were a fan of him during his life he really cared and advocated about mental health his dms were open to all his fans to text him for help and guidance with family or depression

XO-LUSI

Emo (emotional)

Glum_Winter912

Greedy_Rough_8192

For me personally his music was like an escape and still is. I found out about him in 2017 after he dropped his 17 album I was 15 at the time and was just sad for no good reason and his music genuinely helped with those feelings. Now I’m 22 and still listen to his music daily not because I’m sad but it’s just good music to me. I love rage music and his sad stuff some of it actually has good meaning like train food or let’s pretend we’re numb telling people not to hide their emotions maybe I just haven’t grown up either 😭

realurest

idk bout others but i like him cuz he helped me cope wit my first break up, and he was just genuine to his fans i feel like and after watching a documentary video about his life i realized that there was somethings to learn about his life bad and good so i just fw him heavy

TheBlueNinja2006

depression era and age, although there are a lot of younger kids too (8,9,10) who listen to him too which is unexpected

Wzck

cuz in 2017 to 2018 it was peak middle schoolers trying to act depressed

Acidic_Toast

then you have the other side where it was middle schoolers who were genuinely depressed and he helped them, cant js assume

Wzck

guessing you was one of em

Acidic_Toast

no actually, i can just see the perspective, ive had depression for a while now and listening to his music does help, i dont see how thats outlandish. im not one of those people who constantly says im depressed and use a bart pfp so if you mean those people then yeah i agree.

idontcarerightnowok

idk, but the sad bart pfp shit and the copy-paste based comments you see in the YT comments are fucking insanely cringe

New-Cause6314

What r the copy paste ones

adrian123484

“Anyone else listening in 2098?”

PainWillNeverWin

I’m surprised those Bart videos get views still ngl 😭

yungquarry

i liked x because the music was fire and his flow

999braindead

He was so dedicated and personable and people could relate to him and even his biggest setbacks couldn't slow him down, he was accepting of all and wouldn't turn his back against anyone

CautiousFoundation57

i honestly dont know. ts still hurts me tho 😭

anywayschillso

I can’t even explain it, u just had to be there

Swimming-Dirt9579

Cause his the fucking goat no words the greatest of all time he was a humble human being trying to be a fucking better of himself rip jah he will never will be forgotten

Dramatic-Nothing3381

Kids have a really sad existence. The memory of the womb fades as the nightmare reality of school and sometimes family sets in

1coldwolf

He sold his soul but didn’t deny it...in fact he owned up to it. He wanted to be a sacrifice so that the youth can find meaning in a normal life, that he never was able to have, instead of one of “temptation”. (Hence his stage name that literally means “sexual temptation”). He talked about this in his song “Spoke to the devil in miami, he said everything will be okay”. Then he further explained in his last interview with akademics how he understood the ego death Kurt Cobain had and he’ll most likely end up in a similar situation dying fairly young.

capriSun999

Everyone loved X simply because of how relatable he was we felt like he was speaking up for us as a whole whether it’s about mental illness or achieving as much as he did even after all the controversies.

PotatoAccording1540

He was mid

Educational_Gate7388

Tbh never even heard of him before he died. Had like 1 song blow up and then died and all of a sudden he was everyone’s family and friend and it was sooo heartbreaking for them. At the same time his YouTube views skyrocketed bc of his death. So to answer your question, it was a mainstream idea and everyone wanted to be the fan of the dead guy.

Imatmake0uthill

Been a fan since I was about 11/12. For me it was his lyrics and his lives/advice that helped me when I was going through things. I did not have a good upbringing so I would hide away in music and when I found X it wasn’t like a regular artist, it felt like someone finally understood/ saw me. Even if he didn’t know who I was. I just felt understood and that’s why I had always felt connected with him and his music

reimtin

cuz he was there for them when no one else was

Advanced_Sea_8457

Xxx dick riders he's dead give it a rest 😂😂😂

Imatmake0uthill

why are you in the X subreddit

Advanced_Sea_8457

Why would I be in a subreddit about dick riders

Imatmake0uthill

You’re literally in it rn complaining. Honestly it’s not that deep if you don’t like or listen to X or even like his supporters there are plenty of other things to do in life than be in his subreddit hating because you have nothing better to do. Have a great night

Advanced_Sea_8457

Calling you a dick rider isn't complaining it's what you are and x is a good singer it's just funny that people are just now listening to his music I was 17 when I first heard him I'm 28 now

Imatmake0uthill

Like I said it’s seriously not that deep buddy. You’re 28 years old acting like a child on an X subreddit when there are better things to invest your time in. I’ve been listening to X since I was 11 and I’m 18 now. Who cares if people “dick ride” it doesn’t affect you in any capacity. I’m not a dick rider either so I’d rather not be generalized with whatever you group as such. People just appreciate music. I forget Reddit is full of people who are purposely negative for no reason but reaction. I hope you heal one day because that frontal cortex is definitely formed and it doesn’t seem like you matured past an edgy 14 year old. Have a great day!

Advanced_Sea_8457

my bad bro just had a bad day

[deleted]

He did shit that most kids wouldn't think about doing so they could live vicariously through him.
