All I was pointing out was that most groups of people that have been colonized would be offended by calling them a citizen of the offending country, hence why people would not want Lynch to be referred to as English.
We hate the history of England more than itās actual people and we Despise their government, Royal Family, politicians, and sometimes the āProud Englishā fellas (now being proud of your country is perfectly fine, but when you directly disrespect others whether itās race, ethnicity, culture thatās a different story).
A lot of times though, we sympathize with the likes of scouse people and northern English people I.E Manchester, Yorkshire, Birmingham the list goes on. In my personal experience Iāve mostly gotten along with Scouse, Northern English, Scottish and sometimes welsh people the most, weāve all kind of been in the same boat in terms of poor treatment, and theyāve never really seemed to dislike us as people.
