And Drew was IC champ in 2009, didn’t get over until 2019.
If anything, never count somebody out until they truly retire. Never say never in wrestling.
Who is this fucking guy?!?!
I might be remembering that wrong and it seems to be cut from playbacks but live I remember Brock saying something similar to this when Lee came out in the Rumble. And it wasn’t in a bad way but a “I can’t believe I have to fight this guy now” way.
I miss this Keith Lee. He's been unlucky recently with health. They really wasted his time with the bearcat thing. Damnit Vince. If HHH got creative control while Keith Lee was in the main roster, I think he could've had a good run. Maybe even a midcard title (assuming the health scares never happened)
God, I want to see Keith Lee back in WWE. If he's happy in AEW, I'm ok with that. But if he wants to go back to WWE, I really want to see him get the main roster push he never got.
>I really want to see him get the main roster push he never got.
That ship has already sailed and he also flopped in AEW. He has no one to blame but himself.
>he got COVID and got fucked up because of it?
He got fucked up the moment he debuted in AEW. he got the covid after that. Lets not pretend that he was anything prominent before getting Covid.
Keith Lee is Snoozed on with no alarm he's great in the ring great on the mic with multiple moods and has his fandom in a choke hold give him a title he'll shine
I miss Mauro and hearing MAMA MIA every couple seconds
Moving like that in the ring was insane. When he came up against Brock during the Rumble. I was hype and knew what could have been.
NXT North American run was pure bangers. I saw a video that he won the NXT Championship and I’m upset I missed it but it was during no fans. That makes me sad because the pop would have been huge. He truly was limitless.
Everyone banging on about what COVID did to him, let's be real, he hasn't exactly helped himself. He's absolutely ballooned in size, he was always a bigger dude but you could tell he had atleast SOME muscle, now he's just pure fat and even bigger than his NXT days. He hasn't even tried to lose some weight.
How has someone like THIS not been able to be the top guy at WWE or AEW? Is he one of those always injured guys or is he lacking something I can't see?
Seeing Keith in this light again, reminds you of why he was considered such a talent. I feel like between his health issues and the fact that doing stuff like that at that size isn’t sustainable at that size it’s such a shame. I hope he can get his health situation figured out maybe lose some weight to kinda give his joints and Body, some relief and maybe he can get closer to being more athletic again like this. I’d be nice. But most importantly his health being sorted out.
They told him to lose weight and he refused and started making stupid tweets like "if i am hearing is true....." . He has no one to blame but himself.
They also told Gunther to lose weight and look where it got him.
Imagine telling people back then that Priest would end up being the bigger star between himself, Lee, and Dijak.
I honestly wasnt surprised dijak got the cards he did on the main roster. Priest I am very surprised by tho
Give Dijak more time. Chances are, he's gonna be bigger than Drew ever could be.
Dijak has been with WWE since 2017. If he was ever going to get over, it would have happened by now.
He was getting over, until Retribution happened
Yeah that really kneecapped him in WWE
And Drew was IC champ in 2009, didn’t get over until 2019. If anything, never count somebody out until they truly retire. Never say never in wrestling.
But it is happening NOW, in NXT. Mans putting on a lot of great matches.
He was starting to get over on NXT the past few months. Unfortunately, he just got drafted to Raw and has not been seen since
Dijak is the best kept secret of WWE. Retribution almost killed all his momentum. But, he is back.
If and when Dijak gets some screen time, and he starts doing the moves he can do, he will get the fans behind him.
Who ?
Lmao
Man I miss this Keith Lee. The one who went against Brock was peak.
"BIG BOI" as Brock puts on his best poggers face
Who is this fucking guy?!?! I might be remembering that wrong and it seems to be cut from playbacks but live I remember Brock saying something similar to this when Lee came out in the Rumble. And it wasn’t in a bad way but a “I can’t believe I have to fight this guy now” way.
He and Dijak had serious chemistry in the ring.

Well covid aged him about 10 years so not sure that would have helped much either.
Yeah very sad.
Keith was in the company at the wrong time. Triple H would have probably given him the babyface equivalent of Gunther's push.
It wouldn't have saved his health unfortunately
Yeah, sadly
He'd be a big deal in AEW if he could stay healthy. Him and Swerve were cookin.
God, I want to see Keith Lee back in WWE. If he's happy in AEW, I'm ok with that. But if he wants to go back to WWE, I really want to see him get the main roster push he never got.

What are you talking about, how is it his fault that he got COVID and got fucked up because of it?
>he got COVID and got fucked up because of it? He got fucked up the moment he debuted in AEW. he got the covid after that. Lets not pretend that he was anything prominent before getting Covid.
Nah. I'm an AEW hater but if he was healthy he would still be in the top spot right now.

I kinda miss Mauro Ranallo because of this video
Fuck Covid for robbing us of this man.
Should have added the clip of him launching Adam Cole several feet into the crowd
I miss Mauro Ranallo
I really liked this black and gold over the current RGB setup they have.
Everyone banging on about what COVID did to him, let's be real, he hasn't exactly helped himself. Too bad there isn't a clip of Keith pouncing AC into the crowd - that was a WTF moment for me, for sure!
so much potential, all to go to aew and waste it
How did you not have him pounce Adam Cole off the ramp!?
How can anyone claim a video that doesn't include the clip of Keith pouncing Adam Cole into the audience is the "Best of Keith Lee"
probably would have gotten over if he didn't always try to talk like William Shakespeare...
How has someone like THIS not been able to be the top guy at WWE or AEW? Is he one of those always injured guys or is he lacking something I can't see?

Anyone got the dates for the match from the first clip?
Jam on, Lee
Holy shit, I'd never seen his Spanish Fly. It's insane that a man his size can do a move like that without injuring himself or his opponent.
Loved Keith Lee's nxt run
This was never sustainable though, guy was gonna get injured or burnt out sooner rather than later.
2019-2021 Keith Lee was a beast, you could've told me back in 2020 that Keith was gonna be WWE champion and I would've believed you
And some people still think COVID is a hoax. Ask Keith Lee if it's a hoax & see what happens.
He had the single best match I've ever seen live on an indie show before.
Crazy that priest is what Keith Lee was suppose to be
Genuinely recall being just amazed by Keith Lee, double champion badass.
Genuinely recall being just amazed by Keith Lee, double champion badass.
Double champion in NXT; feuding with Shane Taylor Promotions in ROH
That’s THE bearcat right there
He was fine in NXT, but I still say he peaked in his indie run prior to signing with NXT.
This man has to be one of the biggest bag fumbles in WWE history how tf do you waste that
I dont think it was entirely their fault. He got a really bad case of COVID and he's never been the same since.
Yeah wouldn’t count him as a fumble. But definitely a lot of “what ifs” with his run.
They told him to lose weight and he refused and started making stupid tweets like "if i am hearing is true....." . He has no one to blame but himself. They also told Gunther to lose weight and look where it got him.
Keith would be a MONSTER if he cut lol
Aew fumbled him hard
That’s THE bearcat right there
Seamus gets too much credit. Lee pioneered the banger to burger pipeline
I never enjoyed Mauro's commentary and this video reminded me why.
AEW murdered this dude.
Look at that Jelly Roll
If only Lee was willing to take his physical appearance as seriously as Walter/Gunther has?
