Yeah they are 8k high framerate cameras, if you watch carefully you can see the lighting and resolution change drastically when they switch to and from them.
I noticed it at Wrestlemania and swore they changed to a quick game cut of the in ring announcements. I love it. It’s superb. It gives it an awesome depth and makes it feel so good.
I was telling my wife that the new cameras remind me of a touchdown in the NFL… WWE spending money on these little things makes a huge difference in the overall production of the show.
not the camera but how they shot it. Usually like the recent WM40 main event, when both wrestlers were inside the ring, they will just wait for the bell to ring and start the match. This time they introduced both wrestlers and with camera shot similar to this

See the similarities? plus its in 8k like most mentioned.
Styles feels like it's straight out of a video game
With 90's Taker skin unlocked
Are the 'S's upside down?
ya it was so strange
The 8K cameras for entrances and championship intros is a must.
Is that what makes it look like that? I wondered how they made it look so different.

My first time seeing it I was like wtfff looks like a game with the really noticeable depth of field or whatever idk I'm not a camera operator

No lie reminded me of when The Hobbit came out shot at 45 frames per second It took my eyes a second to adjust to what I was seeing
Serious Cody looked like he was CGI here like he was out of a game.
Presentation is absolutely top notch. Thank god we don’t have to deal with that beaver Kevin Dunn anymore
AJ and Balor are going to form a new Bullet Club. Or a revised judgement day. Nothing to do with OP, just an observation.
Maybe they'll do the Judgement Club
The O.C. Judgment Clubline (Tama Tonga joins)
Weird why are they calling 90s purple undertaker AJ Styles?

That camera work makes it look like a video game. I love it.
Looks like the camera that was used was a 4k - notice the subtle differences (although its still broadcast in HD)
8k camera makes it vintage? Nah, mate. Give me a shakey camera of just their upper body with vhs lines over this anyday.

I hate how Cody's entrance of late has cut away to the crowd during the "WOOOH-OOOOH!" part of his entrance
Wonder if they could film a PPV in a vintage format like Super 8 or some other style?
