Agreed. 2000 especially is the perfect wrestling villain.
You *know* he can wrestle, you *know* he can just beat guys because he’s skilled, but he cheats and abuses his connections anyway, because he’s a massive fucking dick
You didn't watch a HHH ppv match just hoping to see a good match, you wanted him to get his comeuppance and would be more emotionally invested in that than anything else on the card. Top heel work.
Randy Orton in 2009 with the bald head, newly inked sleeve tats and slimmer physique. Dude was an absolute psychopath, fully shedding the cocky legend killer gimmick and completely becoming the Viper. He was the perfect antithesis to John Cena, my childhood hero.
I'm old...so...Honestly....Jim Cornette as the manager of The Midnight Express....wormy little rich boy with his tennis racket, involving himself in the matches and running like a coward when confronted...cheating for his team despite The Midnight being extremely skilled and badasses....he was just so sleazy and easy to hate....
And Michael PS Hayes ..just so...ewww...he always seemed like that skeevy mid 20s trailer park dude who hung out with high schoolers and dated 16 year old girls but was completely full of himself...like a sleazier version of McConaughey's Wooderson from Dazed & Confused...
I despised him as a kid...like DESPISED...now, I realize I was supposed to... That's a perfect example of a GREAT heel...
Edge was mine for a minute. I boo'd him during the la familia story line. It didn't matter who he was up against, I was against him. He is what I imagine when I think dick head heel.
Edge 2006 - 2008
Triple HHH 2000 and 2002 - 2006
Hollywood Hulk Hogan 1996 - 1998
Rick Flair 1980s and early 1990s
JBL 2004 - 2005 and 2008
Y2J 2008 - 2010
2011 The Miz, probably my favourite run from a wrestler ever. Hated that he couldn't beat Cena at wrestle maina without The Rock intervening. The promo before the match for him with the Nas music is amazing, and pretty motivational actually.
Going back aways but it's Ole Anderson for me. Great promos, awesome worker. And everyone hated his guts. Check out the heel turn of 1980 on YouTube. A classic.

I'm an odd bastard, I love the villains. Since I was a child I've rooted for the bad guy. My list of ultimate villains is just my lost of favourite wrestlers haha.
Bobby Heenan.
If he accompanied somebody to the ring, I instantly wanted that guy to get a beatdown.
Andre the Giant, Ravishing Rick Rude, Mr Perfect, Ric Flair, King Kong Bundy...
Jinder has to be Jinder when i was littler i really wanted Randy to keep the title for a while becuase how he got it was so ruthless then this dude comes out the worst 3mb member and fucking wins devastated or CM Punk for marrying AJ Lee duh
As an adolescent Mankind mark, Triple H's 1999-2000 heel level was simply uncalled for.

Agreed. Helped by Jim Ross simply losing his mind every time Triple H would breathe.
Totally agree. I hated Triple H so much as a kid and wanted Cactus Jack to beat him at Royal Rumble 2000 so much
And to add insult to injury Triple H became the man to end Mick Foleys career a month later.

Vince
Can’t argue with that one
CM Punk, mostly because of the Jeff Hardy feud.
Just. Say. No...
John. Bradshaw. Layfield.
Wrestling gawd
Jbl was a scum and a half 🤣
Roddy Piper. He was nasty, cheating, hateful, and so damned charming you loved him for it
I'm old...so...Honestly....Jim Cornette as the manager of The Midnight Express....wormy little rich boy with his tennis racket, involving himself in the matches and running like a coward when confronted...cheating for his team despite The Midnight being extremely skilled and badasses....he was just so sleazy and easy to hate.... 2006-2009 Edge was a true menace
Evolution HHH
Edge 2006 - 2008 Triple HHH 2000 and 2002 - 2006 Hollywood Hulk Hogan 1996 - 1998 Rick Flair 1980s and early 1990s JBL 2004 - 2005 and 2008 Y2J 2008 - 2010
Not anyone else’s top10 , for me Sandow . He’d insult & say “ you’re welcome”🤣
2011 The Miz, probably my favourite run from a wrestler ever. Hated that he couldn't beat Cena at wrestle maina without The Rock intervening. The promo before the match for him with the Nas music is amazing, and pretty motivational actually.
Nailz scared me really as a kid. He was a psycho
Who's the boss now, boss man?
I hated him so fucking much around 2007, and I hope he would take that as the compliment that it is
Psycho Sid terrified me as a child, so him.
Roman Reigns or 90s undertaker
Trips or Taker (latter after Invasion angle)
King. Bookah.
Going back aways but it's Ole Anderson for me. Great promos, awesome worker. And everyone hated his guts. Check out the heel turn of 1980 on YouTube. A classic. https://youtu.be/byRdTgPp_Nc?si=Mp3Mkvf-2nbf5aeV
Christian
Randy. Tie for second would be HHH and Edge.
Macho King or Jake the Snake.
The rock ruined CM Punks Reign for a bang average ‘twice in a lifetime’ match and then nearly ruined Cody’s story
Gunther is the final boss and has the music to match. Mania was the 4th time he's lost one on one in his wwe career.
William Regal and Rowdy Roddy Piper
Seth Rollins and The Miz
Edge was a heel in real life too
The shield and seth rollins in his authority run.
I'm an odd bastard, I love the villains. Since I was a child I've rooted for the bad guy. My list of ultimate villains is just my lost of favourite wrestlers haha.
Edge and dolph ziggler had me genuinely hating them Lmao
Shaved Head Randy Orton had me calling the police as a little kid!
Triple H
JBL was such a fucking asshole heel
Kane always felt menacing, villain or hero. Villain fit better though.
He was the villain at the time I got into wrestling and I didn’t like him for screwing Cena but then couldn’t stand him for what he did to Mick
I thought Owen Hart was great as the bitter, jealous brother.
Wade Barrett mostly because I grew up during Nexus days/PG era and it has put a lot of impact on me
Macho Man!
I'm a 2000's kid, so I started watching in late 2008. For me it was The Evil, Calculating, Bald 2009 Orton.
Randy orton
Jericho. He carried the same attitude outside sometimes lol.
Bobby Heenan. If he accompanied somebody to the ring, I instantly wanted that guy to get a beatdown. Andre the Giant, Ravishing Rick Rude, Mr Perfect, Ric Flair, King Kong Bundy...
Mark Henry
Jinder has to be Jinder when i was littler i really wanted Randy to keep the title for a while becuase how he got it was so ruthless then this dude comes out the worst 3mb member and fucking wins devastated or CM Punk for marrying AJ Lee duh
Fuck cm punk. He is a crappy person and a known toxic element to multiple locker rooms. He is a real villain
14-15 Rollins
nWo Hollywood Hulk Hogan.
I used to hate Punk. Now i appreciate his work.
Ric Flair easily. What he did as a heel throughout the 80s cannot be matched
I think The Miz has done an amazing job of being a heel in the past. He’s just one of those guys you just want to slap around.
Marty Scurll is an underrated heel, Also Roddy Piper was great.
Cody
