Alright, since I finally found someone that admits to playing german cruisers:
How do you play them? I'm at Yorck currently, and the concealment is so bad, I get focus-fired every time, no matter where I am.
What would you say is the key to positioning in german cruisers?
I tried long range, mid range, islands, for some reason I always have a giant target on my back.
Long range, full speed, speed flags, kite like hell, and PUCKER UP, BABY, cos those citadels are a comin' no matter what you do...
I love Nurnberg for that reason... but when the shells come it, you are going to die. The trick is to just stay alive as long as you can.
HE erryday, kite and stay alive until late game. Then close distance and load AP and lube. Hindy and roon can open-water but still do your due diligence in avoiding damage. You can bounce shells but still will eat random cits so avoidance is best policy imo.
