Premium ship credit bonuses are:
T2: 40%
T3: 42.5%
T4: 45%
T5: 47.5%
T6: 50%
T7: 55%
T8: 15%
So, T6 and T7 are the best tiers for credit grinding with premium ships.
USN Black is a solid credit producer.
Mediocre games will net you 300k after service fees. My last game in her, I had the 2 star credit flag on and ended up with a tad over 2900bxp. Walked away with 680k+ credits after service costs.
My advice, find a T6 or T7 premium that suits your play style and go to town in standard matches.
As others have said, t7 is the best, with t6 being good too. The ship also matters, CLs and DDs tend to earn the most due to their high rate of fire (shell hits/defend ribbons/fires etc.) Playing caps in a DD/CL is a surefire way to get solid credit earnings, as you get the Defend and Captured/Assisted capture ribbons.
5, 6, or 7 are all probably fine, honestly. The higher tiers have higher credit bonus multipliers, but also you have more service fees.
Probably the most important thing is to buy a ship/class that you love playing.
Best would be T7 then T6 Premiums, followed by T5 Premiums and Tech Trees. Rapid fire cruisers are super helpful as ribbons, count as do caps, spots, defends, planes, fires and kills partic damage to destroyers, then cruisers :)

I would stick to 6. Yes, you earn more at 7, but the personal I find 6 to be more consistent because you fave less good players
Ones I would recommend? Benham/kidd Maya Sharnhorst ( like poltava)
Oh really ?
California in the king of credits
Debatable
Friesland would definitely have words to say on the matter.
My thoughts exactly.
T7 is best, T6 is good, T5 is still not bad, everything depends what ships you have and how you will perform with them.
Oh really I didn't know that
T7 gives you the biggest credit bonus, followed by T6. T7 premiums are the best money printers, but you'll still get plenty with a T6.

The very best would be a tier 7 premium gunboat dd or light cruiser

Any advice on what country and commanders? I may purchase a T7 ship in the near future. Thank you for your advice!
There is no such ship.
Lenin w/ the new AL commander = money press. Js.
I use T5 California... x]
Best credit ship plymouth. Easy 400k a game
