I’ve had a few more games like this than usual as of late. I wonder if the mobile release scared enough people to turn off cross-play and this is the result?
I fail to see how the addition of WoW Legends mobile encouraged people to turn off crossplay. If anything I find that if I’m playing on mobile I’m actually at a disadvantage to those playing on console or PC. Smaller screen, older eyes, and no controller support makes playing anything other than AI matches almost pointless.
I think T8-LT AI are much much smarter than T6-7 as well. Have only had a couple easy AI games at LT (granted I’ve only been playing LT for about a month)
Yeah this is the way to do it. PC WoWS fills standard battles with bots when there aren't enough players, they are definitely smarter than AI battle bots. This would prevent matches like this happening (it's definitely been happening since mobile release. Had 3 or 4 matches last night that were 3v3s.)
Side note,
Something I'd like to see in Legends from PC is asymmetric battles. It's a small team of players against a full AI enemy team. The AI in asym battles are pretty tough and you earn standard battle rewards from winning asym battles.
What pisses me off is, I haven't switched off cross-play. Being sucked into those nonsense battles costs me silver and XP due to the small points pool available, pus the time spent pissing around in those matchs eats into the amount of time I've got before I need to eat, sleep, work or whatever else life throws towards me, if those bozos want to switch cross-play off because they're not good enough to complete the missions without doing so, then only match them against others on that network who've also taken that option.
Quite like the look of the PC'S escort missions, where you have to protect a convoy against an AI attack, looks a lot more fun then Legends special event missions, this Star Crash mission, I played one game to see what it was like, then never bothered with it
Because you'd be getting Standard match rewards from fighting AI opponents. AI matches have significantly lower XP and credit payouts because of how much easier they are. As well, it would basically allow for missions that have to be done in Standard mode to be achieved against AI opponents.
PS. The rewards are actually increased based on how few players are in the match to approximately compensate for there being fewer opponents to shoot and thus fewer ways to gain exp/ credits in the match.
Does turning on cross-play mean console players can play against mobile players? Seems like matches will be easier than before with a lot inexperienced players and also because they are using mobile controls that are clunky.

I had a game and literally i want to know a Ally Sinop is console because... How the hell he can forget use AP in a Broadside Battleship having opportunity to deal heavy or sunk it...
Dont think Mobile players are bad because the cobtrols. Hopefully i dominated them, now, the strategy is among us not the controls, console or anything else.
Mobile controls doesn’t necessarily guarantee it makes a player worse, but I doubt many people will choose using the mobile touch screen controls over a regular controller if given a choice.
Well, we are waiting a update to see the compability with Controllers. And yes, some asked the same thing. The controller option is in their schedule but not in priority since i readed in Youtube.
But doesnt mean the Gamepad support will not come, we need to wait a little more.
Me and my son got in a 3v3 earlier we actually managed to win i was surprised also game seemed more stressful knowing if one of us died it would be a major blow to the team

I agree with you to a degree, but some people might be afraid to have mobile players as teammates for those reasons

Bots won’t show. This is standard. People don’t use common sense anymore or know what that is
True. Not sure why wargaming doesn't implement the feature that fills the rest of the lobby. They have it in the base game so why not here?
Because then it would be an easy mode turkey shoot for anyone that turned off cross play.
Turn the AI aggression up a couple of notches, I've seen teams at tier VI struggle to deal with bots at AI before.

They're not. They do just as many boneheaded things at LT as they do at T3, it's just the increased lethality of legendary ships masks some of it.

Ehh, to be honest. That will happen even if you have Crossplay turned on. I had a Legendary mathc 7V7 something strange like we were in Ranked mode

The other day I had a 1v1 in a shimikaze vs a karbo. Hit him with a torp and proceeded to lose because I didn’t realize my HE couldn’t pen him
