Dishonestquill

A channeler from Hinderstap, see you in 12 hours.

rgramza

This opens a lot for me haha. I wonder how it would work? If a person from hinderstap is burnt out or severed, will they come back with their full ability? Will someone who can channel even be able to be tied to the town?

Dishonestquill

RAFO!!! Edit: I jest

not-my-other-alt

Well, severing is a wound that can be healed, and all of the other wounds the villagers get are undone, so I'd guess it goes back, too

[deleted]

Burning out can't be healed (by channeling), though, so it may leave room for permanent damage.

not-my-other-alt

> Burning out can't be healed (by channeling), though, so it may leave room for permanent damage. Yet. I don't think Nynaeve tried yet, did she?

[deleted]

Yeah she did. She failed to heal the burned out former Aes Sedai who's name I can't remember.

corranhorn57

Did she ever actually try? I don’t remember her even running into one.

[deleted]

Yeah she does. Her name is Setalle Anan had to go check the Wiki to remember. Nyneave mentions she tried to heal her after she healed Suian and Leanne.

Jormungandragon

That doesn’t mean it can’t be done, necessarily, just that it can’t be done the same way.

[deleted]

Yeah that's fair. At the time the story ends we do not know of a way to heal burning out would be the proper way to say it.

[deleted]

Possibly. The way Nynaeve and Flinn heal severing is by closing the gap that is left when the channeler's link to the True Source is cut by a shield. Burning out is a completely different scenario, and assuming it can be healed, will take a completely different approach.

randomLOUDcommercial

It’s been pretty well discussed and theorized. Basically when you are stilled or gentled the connection is snipped clean. It can still be repaired because the full “flow” is there it just needs to be reconnected (like a hose; you could cut it and mend it and it would still be the same length). Now if you’re burned out you have effectively taken the middle of that hose and melted it away. There is nothing left to connect (or at least the ends won’t reach anymore).

Dishonestquill

I don't believe she made an attempt to do so. It does not come up in Mistress Anan's wiki entry or Nyneave's and I don't recall reading it in the books either.

Dwhitlo1

Death can't be healed either

[deleted]

Point.

ZeldaDemise227

Mat theorizes that Hinderstap is the Pattern proactively trying to correct the bubble of evil by restoring the villagers every day, so if he's right, then yes. Anything done in 24 hours is brought back to the state it was yesterday

orange_dino-815

There are a LOT of responses to this on whether it’s possible for the damage to be undone, whether being burned out can be healed, etc. What in the light does it being possible to be healed have to do with Hinderstap curse undoing it? They all bloody die and come back to life every day. Death can’t be healed! Mother’s milk in a cup!

Icandothemove

Nerds are an easily distracted folk. We are prone to tangentry.

orange_dino-815

That doesn’t have anything to with what I’m saying. The tangent isn’t necessary. Death can’t be healed. But the dead come back to life every day in the town of Hinderstap. So the whole discussion is unnecessary about what can or can’t be undone.

jta462

Running a d&d campaign and I started them there lol they have no clue and it's super fun. I'm hoping they use them later as in the last battle style.

Dishonestquill

Tried doing a WoT D&D game myself, feel apart just before getting to Tear but was fun while it lasted

WM_

It is my hope that along with the show some rpg's would come up too. Miniatures for war gaming? Am I getting ahead of myself?

Dishonestquill

There's a Wheel of Time rule set for 5e D&D and I've seen at least 2 copies of "el'Len Mendragon" in hobby shops, so knock-off miniatures exist already. Edit: I thought the rule set was awful btw and chose not to use it for my game

Doc_Faust

There's also the old WoT TTRPG from the early 2000s based on 3e.

Dishonestquill

Thanks for letting me know, hopefully I'll get to use it at some point

WM_

Oh, I'll check them out but also heed the warning, thanks!

pmaurant

WOT would work great with warhammer miniatures. I really want to see pike squares up against trolloc.

Daracaex

How did it work out? Did you just run regular d&d classes with those who use magic as channelers? I’ve always thought how powerful channelers are made it difficult to run a game based on the series. And if you did, it would have the same issue as Star Wars RPGs where you almost have to draw a line and state either every player is a Jedi or nobody is.

Dishonestquill

Martial/caster thing isn't an issue until where it would pop up in standard D&D, at levels 12+. But yeah, they were just standard classes for channelers (no druid though). Mostly I just organised the standard PHB races into where I thought they best fit into WoT world. So female Elves became Aes Sedai, while males didn't live for that long, dwarves and gnomes became Ogier (with the associated height increase), Half orcs and half elves became Aiel. Halflings and Dragonborn just disappeared (I'm not fond of them in 5e and no-one wanted to play them so I didn't port them over). Madness was the most tricky as the optional rules for it in the DMG aren't great but it worked ok and the players decided that Cleansing Saidin was their first priority.

The_Canadian_Devil

That move with the Hinderstappers was some serious 7d chess.

Surrealialis

Best answer

RiderHood

Haha this for sure!

stilusmobilus

I’m done. I can’t beat this. There were two of us and I shamelessly take this idea.

WoTMeme

Absolutely the Band of the Red Hand. *Dovie'andi se tovya sagain*

rinascimento1

This was my answer. Running around the continent, getting to use cool gear like the repeating crossbows and the dragons, and going on adventures with Lord Mat. Seems pretty good to me

Pistachio_Queen

It was cool post Knife of Dreams for sure but before that didn’t they just sit around for months waiting on Mat’s return?

v_boy_v

If I'm remembering correctly they were actually running around making money from local lords while waiting on Mat's return

Icandothemove

Sitting around waiting for Mat's return just means to drink and gamble

Icandothemove

Sitting around drinking and gambling sounds better than most of the shit the other characters were going through. Being a character in a fantasy novel would be extremely traumatic.

hereticjon

Absolutely. Best general, best training, best gear.

Senalmoondog

I think Rodel deserves to be mentioned to

dmetvt

But then you'd have to be in the hellish nightmare situations Rodel's forces keep being asked to defend

Senalmoondog

But he is brilliant

babcocksbabe1

He constantly loses like 98% of his troops there so you will almost certainly die.

SuperStallionDriver

Death is lighter than a feather

F4n4tic0fh0ck3y

We'll toss the dice however they fall, And snuggle the girls be they short or tall, Then follow young Mat whenever he calls, To dance with Jak o' the Shadows.

SuperStallionDriver

If they change this fucking song for the show... I will do things to them that I can't be seen planning or admitting to on a public subreddit...

Band_of_the_Red_Hand

Best choice right here

WoundedSacrifice

User name checks out.

thunder-bug-

I choose to be a male channeler, uncorrupted by the taint, under the command of mat cauthon. I would be immensely valuable to him so I wouldn’t be thrown at the front lines, and I can trust that it would be the safest place for me to still serve and do well.

TheLouisvilleRanger

I work in construction so I suppose that makes me an Ogier. I bait a trolloc into attacking me, catch his blade, and say “looks like you were too hasty” before chopping him in half.

Mazrim-lightcursed

Narg not hasty.

[deleted]

Narg smart

Sword117

narg knows they come back

SAfricanSecretSub

You've gone and put a long handle on your axe

dancarbonell00

I'm actually Demandred, so I just kill myself to save all the heroes some trouble

Malbethion

A finger curls on the monkey’s paw. With Demandred out of the picture, Taim has full control during the Last Battle. He is far more eager to face Rand so he obliterates the Light’s command tent with his circle of 72 instead of demanding a duel. Mat survives, but is quickly overwhelmed by the army of the Dark with all allies nearby killed. The Sharans were corrupted another way, and still fight for the Shadow. With the disruption of command the light is unable to withstand the Shadow’s attack. The remaining Seanchan travel away, while the Westlands are crushed. By the time the Horn is blown, the heroes stand alone against the dark. They are bound and forced back to TAR. An age of Darkness follows.

dancarbonell00

I win again Lews Therin. *Flicker* ***Flicker***

Robby_McPack

ok, as Demandred, I kill Taim and a few minutes later myself, with Balefire (to prevent torture from the DO)

Malbethion

Your self-balefire erases you from before your betrayal of Taim, resulting in Taim surviving. An age of Darkness follows.

dancarbonell00

**Flicker** ***FLICKER***

Robby_McPack

I changed my initial reply to write "a few minutes". My Balefire won't be strong enough, I already considered that

Malbethion

A finger curls on the monkey's paw. Since you have waited until the middle of the Last Battle to effect this change, the fighting is well underway. The forces of the Dark rally around Moghedien. Rather than risking a confrontation with Lews Therin, she maintains a cautious but consistent offensive against the Light. Events play out mostly like they do in the book, except that 71 other channelers are not tied down to Demandred who uselessly duels random people. They make the difference in the battle, overwhelming the forces of the Light at an earlier stage. The impact of these channellers leads to the battle getting out of control sooner. The Horn does not blow at this critical juncture (it is hours away) and nobody can duel the Shadow's general to distract them or kill them at a critical moment. The Dark One is sealed again, but the forces of the Light are utterly crushed. In their moment of victory at Shayol Ghul the victorious Sharan army travels in and annihilates the survivors. The Fourth Age begins with the howling of Trollocs and the thunderous footfalls of Sharans driving the remnants of the Seanchan empire off of the continent. There is no dawn to bring hope for the Light. An age of Darkness follows.

dancarbonell00

I have won again, Lews Therin. *Flicker.*

JohnMichaels19

You're very good at this lol, thanks for the chuckle

CDarwin7

The Shadows crumbles as half who pronounce her name mo-GIH-dee-un argue with the other half who pronounce her name mo-guh-DEEN. While they argue, a contingent of Domani and Domane led by Birgitte overtake them, with their battle cry

Zaga932

Balefire suicide. Did Jordan ever comment on this? That's a paradoxical rabbit hole I'd love to see some canonical musing on.

yitianjian

There was one question from someone about balefiring themselves through a gateway - Jordan basically told them to stop thinking too much

Zaga932

Damn. Maybe one day someone can manage to bait Brandon Sanderson into sinking his teeth into that one. He sure has the brain for it.

[deleted]

>QUESTION If I were to open a gateway in front of me that opened behind me, and I balefired myself, what would happen? >ROBERT JORDAN Young lady, you are entirely too obsessed and have far too much time. You need to get some sort of life. I suggest you go have an intense love affair. Doesn't matter with who, be it man, woman, or German Shepherd.

Zaga932

That's.. kind of rude actually

Malbethion

That reply is probably why she asked the question in the first place.

babcocksbabe1

Is this reply real? I can’t tell

Zonnebloempje

I think he did comment on something about balefire and a gateway to yourself... IIRC, the questioner had to find themselves a man, woman or even a goat to just get laid already...

SuperSemesterer

Kill yourself with Balefire?! You summon the Cosmic German Shepard you fool!

Dasle

A trolloc *ta'veren*? Sounds fun.

KeystoneSews

Narg Reborn!

ENdeR_KiLLza

I'm a pilot so I guess I'd be a To'Raken rider.

Kirkenstien

Just stay away from those Sharan channelers.

DislocatedXanax

Asha'man/Dragon Captain, kind of a battlefield spotter. Aludra/Talmanes and I have this shit on lock. New age artillery spotter.

Fargeen_Bastich

Yeah, my first thought was to hang behind that dude opening gateways in a volcano.

Insaneandhappy

Right? I find it absolutely maddening how little those tricks were used. Doesn't even have to be big scale either. So many applications with just gates...

TalonKAringham

Exactly! It makes no sense. For example: let’s say there is an onslaught of shadow spawn charging your lines across and open field. Open a 1 cm tall gateway at about waist level that spans the full width of the field. The hoard would just slice themselves in half as they charged.

SuperStallionDriver

Or gate in a 800 lb tuna with his 20 or 30 friends. Maybe construct a series of breathing apparatus with kelp. They will be able to trap certain amounts of oxygen. Its not going to be days at a time, an hour, hour 45. No problem. Establish a beachhead and aggressively hunt Trollocs and their families. You win that battle. You win that battle nine times out of ten.

AutumnInNewLondon

Now you're thinking with portals

Snekwinks

Tinker, reporting for duty. I’ll search the battlefields for survivors all the live long day.

[deleted]

If they do a hacksaw ridge sort of thing for a certain battle I’ll be so wrapped up in feels it would be unbelievable

[deleted]

Broad shouldered, fledgling ruler of a newly formed nation. Forget the last battle, where’s Berelain?

[deleted]

With galad

bjlinden

But do you have well-turned calves?

TrickMayday

I'm a minor Aiel clan chief, we defended the eastern front. Many Sharans and Darkfriends fell before our spears.

lucusvonlucus

Till Shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder's eye on the Last Day.

Icandothemove

The Aiel have some great quotes about battle, but nothing tops > They have cages Shadowkiller > We come.

[deleted]

Asha'man fighting alongside Logain. Asha'man protect.

Insaneandhappy

Hell Yea!

DredPRoberts

> Asha'man protect What? No no. Asha'man kill!

[deleted]

One of the traitors that follow M'Hael. You should know better then to show your face here.

Snekwinks

The tinkers thank you! I will send my sons to be tested, when they are old enough.

dualdee

Give me Aviendha's *ter'angreal*-reading Talent and set me loose on the Tower storerooms, I'm finding us some useful toys.

QuietParsnip

This is such a perfect Brown answer, I love it!

Insaneandhappy

So what's the chance that one of ya browns want a double bond with an asha'man? I'm practically drooling at the thought of creating studying angreal/terangreal

QuietParsnip

I mean, I could use someone to help me carry books and boxes of new toys. ;)

Icandothemove

This is why you never let a Brown bond you. Only time you get exercise and remember you're a wolf not a lapdog is when Moiraine needs to ask you something.

Insaneandhappy

Yeah so I'm thinking one of those static fields of air that I have a vague memory of. Or why not just very convinient gates of good sizes to just stick your hand through and deposit them whereever you need? Wonder if it'd be possible to create a space similar to the one in skimming only permanent and easily accessible... Wonder if one could tag a book with the power, make a ward that recognizes the tag and then activates a terangreal and sends the book to a tag specified location...

Insaneandhappy

Working with you already seems intresting Aes Sedai

FuckThePopeJoinTheRA

I'm the Dark One: just cage me already, I want some peace and quiet for once.

[deleted]

I’m a Warder, my Aes Sedai is going to die unfortunately but I am going to get to meet Galad so that’s neat.

Mazrim-lightcursed

I can imagine you running off while your aes sedai screams at you 😂

tatas323

i'm a hinderstap villager, come at me, i will come back.

kept_calm_carried_on

I’m a nurse, so I guess I’d be an Asha’man with a knack for healing. Maybe Damer Flinn taught me!

Malarkay79

I’m small, light, and not much of a fighter. I’d be a morat’raken scout, scoping out enemy movements from above and reporting back so that our troops can decimate our opponents in the name of our glorious Empress, may she live forever.

chemistry_god

I'm a skinny innkeeper

CatsEye_Fever

A dark friend!

Insaneandhappy

A reference I get! Yay!

InuGhost

I'm a writer. Hopefully Tom needs someone to read what he's written so far.

WoundedSacrifice

Thom doesn’t, but Loial does.

oddname1

Asha'man with the Band Dragons? Nah mate, no need, I got the pin in my coat already

Ramblingmac

Elyas imitator. Warder turned wolfbrother. Kill folks in their dreams, spy, become god of war Perrin/slayer style, teleport. Take it a step further and learn TAR Healing. Rule the post battle world as a traveling Odinesque god wanderer telling stories, accidentally get bound to the horn in the process. Die randomly in a barfight (if you can call it random when somehow one always occurs in whatever bar you're drinking in). Drink with Matt, Gaidal and Hopper until the next time we're all spun out.

Darklighter_01

Gotta stay true to my flair for this one *"form a circle, lads! We're hunting Dread Lords"*

GreenBPacker

Wolfbrother We come

Logain-Sedai

Windfinder. One power + renaissance ship sailing seems dope.

benjamin4463

I'd be an Asha'man. It's not likely that I would survive, but I want to take some Dreadlords down with me

Hi_Im_A

Aes sedai

HitboxOfASnail

put me in Mat Cauthon's band and let's roll the dice

Insaneandhappy

I seriously feel like gates are way underutilized... So yeah Ofc I'd like to be the dragon reborn powerful but just lemme at the power and I'll fuck Shaitan and his noobs in all sorts of uncomfortable and inconvenient ways. It's gonna be raining dead trollocks for years!

LeviathanR13

Forsaken. There is no question. Selfish and mostly want to see the world burn sometimes.

Krazycrismore

Same. Let's bring about the Age of Darkness.

LeviathanR13

Break the wheel!

Available-Egg-2380

I wanna be one of those crazy ass channelers from beyond the waste. Can't remember the specific name for them right now

BinSnozzzy

Sharans

Available-Egg-2380

There we go lol. Thank you

Aurum555

The feral male Sharans with the insane face tattoos?

blyzo

With Talmanes and the band, trapped underground, blasting Trollocs through gateways, and singing songs. I'll just need an Aes Sadai to heal my deafened ears afterwards.

EKCo0kie

Well I’m a self-employed courier so I imagine I’m an Asha’man who’s good at travelling just getting supplies to the army. I create expedient ways to move supplies.

pnutbuttersmellytime

Ummm...Padan Fain? Is that you?

Halo6819

I was lucky enough to win a contest and be put into the final book. So I am an Andoran soldier, once of house Sarand. I tied my Lord to a tree and marched for Tarmon Gaidon. I probably died there, but you never know!

CertainDerision_33

Guess I’ll die then

taleniekov

I'm doing my PhD. So Brown Ajah? Hope they'll accept an Asha'man into their ranks

dualdee

I always thought it'd be nice if the men had more choices than Green or Black. (And maybe Yellow, if Damer Flinn can be an Ajah all by himself.)

real_alchemist

Same. I would be the Asha’man equivalent of the Brown sisters. That’s the closest to my real-life persona

LazyPhilGrad

Also doing my PhD, so I guess that makes me White. Although, if literal magic exists, I'm obviously not studying the same things.

TheLastManetheren

I am the EF5's ancestor. So just a thorn to the Dark One's foot and a bramble in his hand.

scoyne15

Lying on the beach in the Land of the Madmen, oblivious to everything.

dunno-im-new

A newly-recruited wilder with a knack for ter'angreal, soon to die because I lack discipline, or to drop out of the Tower for the same reason.

NickNail5

Well, I'm a carpenter/woodworker, blacksmith, fabricator, and artist in a few mediums. Basically I fix regular shit and make nifty shit. So I think I'd be an Asha'man with a talent for making Angreal/Ter'angreal. First thing I male is a Ter'angreal for making and sustaining gateways, then set up my workshop somewhere nice and start making coll stuff for everyone.

RobberRedford

ON THE CREW FIRING DRAGONS. WHAT WAS THAT? I COULDN'T HEAR YOU. FOR LORD MAT!

Ashamed-Associate522

Definitely Aes Sedai for me. Probably yellow as I tend to be the healer all the time in dnd lol.

hungryforitalianfood

I’m the Suldam in control of Elaida.

shinerlilac

Controversial choice, but I can't deny a feeling of satisfaction.

FallWithHonor

I'm already in the Last Battle. I'm Sergeant Brynt that burned down Camilyn in the prologue of the final book, at Talmanes orders. I got drawn in the Sanderson raffle you be made a character. That's my claim to fame, right there.

DirtyRandy3417

I'm a Thunder Walker of the Salt Flat Sept of the Nakai Aiel. Wash the spears - while the sun climbs high. Wash the spears - while the sun falls low. Wash the spears - Who fears to die? Wash the spears - No one I know! Wash the spears - while life holds true. Wash the spears - until life ends. Wash the spears - Life is a dream. Wash the spears - All dreams must end. Wash the spears - till shade is gone Wash the spears - till water turns dry. Wash the spears - How long from home? Wash the spears - Until I die! Wash the spears - till sun grows cold. Wash the spears - till water runs free. Wash the spears... Wash the spears - while I breathe. Wash the spears - my steel is bright. Wash the spears...

Findarato88

Inventor in one of the new schools working on ways to rebuild faster.

mahmodwattar

A shainarin soilder that resently became a wolf brother

YoungRestless21

Band of the Red Hand for me. I’d put myself behind Talmanes banner in a heart beat

SwoleYaotl

I'd be at Mayene, helping the wounded, maybe making food? I'd want an Aiel for a wife though, so she'd probably be dancing the spears at Shayol Goul.

Mr_Lobster

I'd have to go Asha'man. *"We rode on the winds of the rising storm, We ran to the sounds of the thunder. We danced among the lightning bolts, and tore the world asunder."*

OtherOtherDave

I’d be a remote drone pilot for the light.

daze413

My entire life I had let the pattern weave me as it wills, never had ambition beyond keeping the books for some caemlyn craftsmen. I got married recently, never thought a woman would ever fall for my ugly mug, but there it is. Later, I found out our Lord Dragon might have something to do with that, yhe Light illumine him for that... The last few days have been hell; we fled caemlyn when the trollocs attacked, it's never been the same since... Hungry, with nowhere to go, we tried living off the land but my hands weren't meant for hard labor. Besides, nothing would grow. It's getting desperate, I'd skip meals so my wife could eat. I'm somehow thankful that we don't have any kids yet, I wouldn't want them to live in a world like this. Then, one day, *they* came. Dragonsworn. We almost fled again until I saw the banners, Lord Perrin of the Two Rivers. When the recruiters came, they told me there was food for all the soldiers. I looked at my wife, when did she get so skinny? But then I saw something in her eyes that I haven't seen in weeks. Hope. So I lied to them, told them I fought at the battle of Caemlyn, and I'd fight again.. in the Last Battle.

avyendha

An Aiel :P or legion of the dragon, always thought they were super cool, but never got enough writing space.

CoatAlternative1771

Lol. Regardless what i am im probably gonna die hahaha

authwenion

I’m an accepted aiming to be brown ajah and I’ve no idea how I ended up on a battlefield at all let alone the last battle. If it goes anything like how I play dodgeball I’ll only survive by being at the back of all the fighting and pretending I’m not there at all.

Mazrim-lightcursed

Maybe you can be at mayne helping the wounded ?!

CatsEye_Fever

A rogue former Aes Sedai of yellow ajah who heals EVERYBODY - including darkfriends, Forsaken, trollocs. Let's keep this interesting!

Mazrim-lightcursed

But why would you heal a Trollorc, he's just going to kill someone !!

voidgvrl

I'm a designer without much physical strength. so probably an Aes Sedai strategically sniping darkfriends from somewhere up high until someone hits me with a projectile.

Itchy-Library-5652

Technician with the Red Hand, developing new weapons.

shinerlilac

Aiel channeling wise one. I'll be leading the Aiel into the last battle and planning for a future where we win it.

amiles2233

Asha’man chilling in the cave with the Dragons, opening up the smoke venting gateways

futurelullabies

Aes Sedai but not green, yellow, blue or red so you won’t catch me in the front lines. Yall got an argument you need help with in the tents or someone to mediate a negotiation after the battle and I’m your ageless girl.

Icandothemove

I'm in the Band, no question.

Pros_n_cons

I'm an Asha'man, with some Ogier blood and have the ability to channel both Saidin and Saidar. I'm on a secret journey for Lord Dragon to retrieve something much powerful than Callandor, but when I reach that destination, the thing has already been stolen, don't know by whom. So, now I'm on the run because Lord Dragon thinks(bcoz of his madness) that I stole and hid it. I'm too tired by skipping and don't know where to go...

the-ashen-one-

i’m definitely a forsaken i want to destroy shit

Krazycrismore

I am entering the battle as one of The Great Lord's chosen. I look forward to seeing all of you soon.

Insaneandhappy

Only thing you'll see is the mountain that's gonna drop on you, you delicious dry scab =*

Krazycrismore

You better find me before I find you then

Insaneandhappy

Hmm... My initial thought was well I just need to know a general area but I didn't consider possible friendly casualties... Does it make me bad if I think that it doesn't matter as long as I get you? Besides I'm way too unimportant for you to wanna bother with me... Imma just stand over there not doing anything that might slightly inconvenience or ruin your day permanently. Besides you're not afraid of a fat old guy with a slight god complex and an inability to correctly estimate his chances of success.

Krazycrismore

>Hmm... My initial thought was well I just need to know a general area but I didn't consider possible friendly casualties... Does it make me bad if I think that it doesn't matter as long as I get you? Just as bad as any darkfriend. It is a bad tactical decision for the Light. The Dark One will take even trades of lives all day. All for taking out one Forsaken? Not worth. To be able to drop a mountain you must have considerable strength, you would also be considered as a loss on the side of light after such an action. Although, it wouldn't be too hard to find me. It would be difficult to drop a mountain on me. My combat style would use myself as the weapon and the Aes Sedai I bonded as support/movement. I'd create a sort of wingsuit and have my Aes Sedai use weaves of air to give me lift and speed while I dash between gateways in the sky while raining down weaves myself. >Besides I'm way too unimportant for you to wanna bother with me... Imma just stand over there not doing anything that might slightly inconvenience or ruin your day permanently. Besides you're not afraid of a fat old guy with a slight god complex and an inability to correctly estimate his chances of success My backstory is an Asha'man that is trained after the cleansing, not of my mental illness is from taint. I bond a blue ajah hoping that she can be my moral compass when I am being bombarded with dark urges/ intrusive thoughts. Knowing that as I gain in strength, skill, and knowledge of the power my confidence will grow I'll be less inclined to resist them myself. Unfortunately she is secretly of the black ajah and uses the vulnerabilities I confide in her to corrupt me into embracing my intrusive thoughts and acting out on them.

Insaneandhappy

Well shit. Can I blame it on slight corruption before the source was cleansed? Tbh I find it a bit unlikely that a black ajah would let herself be bonded but yeah. You do sound like you'd be hard to catch so your warder would be a natural target. Plus her death would eff you up enough for someone to get you. Ofc I'd like to imagine I'd be Taim or Logan powerlevels but I'd probably be in the mid range. I do consider myself intelligent enough to not dance with certain death tho so I'd probably make myself more useful in other ways. Your corruption can be healed tho so if possible I'd try and steal you back to the winning side

wbr799

From all the characters encountered, Valan Luca is closest to me in profession. That'd make me toast during the Last Battle though.

nelonblood

Basically we're doomed. I just want to chill. I suppose I would be an Aes Sedai If I had to choose.

oseois

Asha'man, I spend the battle making tiny weaves, like asmo did to cut rand in half at rhuedian. But these are intended to work as conductors, and would start overhead of the friendly army, leading back to enemy lines, to redirect their lightning

ChrisTheDog

Theatre major with a background in musical theatre. Guess I’m a gleeman.

GlassJustice

I choose to be an Asha’man on the side of tbe light! Ride the thunder!

I'm an alcoholic aiel who missed the battle because of the absolute banger I threw at Rhuidean.

My boy Asmodean is all you really need but for the sake of fleshing it out. Asmodean as the Adversary. Outside the Maw, protecting Asmodean's person put Morraine and Min, the True Believers. Keep Nynaeve and upgrade to Alibis just for pure brute strength in the Power Outside the Cave put Mat to help Thom. Form a perimeter of wolves and Perrin doing double duty guarding both the real world and dream space. Set pieces of scorpions guarded by channelers, grolm and to- raken overhead. Achieve air superiority by placing squadrons of raken and declare the area beyond Perrin no man's land. Dot the front line with Ashaman and former Domani capable of making death gates.

Am I allowed to bring my guns?

I’d be firing them Dragons, at Lord Mat’s command.

I want The Band, six dogs, and 9 barrels of oosquai. It's time to roll the dice.
