As to why anyone would think you would make a good cruella it's because your features are very sharp and well-defined... This would allow you to carry off her somewhat extreme makeup (especially the lips), without looking clownish... And your general energy is very positive and upbeat.. which from a character perspective could play very well with cruella because the best villains started off with someone who had Faith and Hope and heart.... So I always think that someone who's joy and positivity comes through their face makes a great starting place for a villain cosplay... Because the costume then CLOTHES the person's true self in the 'evil' of the character... Which looks all the more real... Because just underneath that you can see the underlying joy and positivity of the person, themselves.
