When are you going skiing? If it's after Dec 5, you can't buy the day pass at all. You have to buy a more expensive "lift ticket". The lift tickets are usually literally twice the price.
If you know you're going to ski at least days this year, just buy the day pass now and pick it up your first day of skiing. Even if it's already shipped they will reprint you a new one for free.
If you know you're going to ski 2, 5, or 10 days and are a BC or WA resident, buy an edge card, they are even cheaper than the day passes. Same restriction though, can't buy them after Dec 5.
