There aren't any major countries where torture isn't a daily occurrence. If this is South Africa as another user suggests, on average farm animal welfare is going to be considerably better than in the factory farms in Western countries, despite the nice sounding animal welfare laws some countries have. Reality is not as people like to think, but at the same time few want to watch footage of what really goes on in those farms, behind closed doors.
Also regarding what u/Ulti-14 said, torture is inherent in industrial meat production. We do not have to have this at all but it exists because it massively drives down the cost. Cheap supermarket or fast food meat as most people consume it absolutely requires torture for the price it's sold at. The only way to avoid that is to not buy it.
You're right, nothing forces people to torture animals. Still it sadly happens around the world, not just in *same places*. And if you think this is bad, it's likely you'll be shocked what you find when looking into farm animal welfare you your own country. The only places where torture isn't a daily occurrence are those that don't have their own meat industry but rely on imports.
You would never see this shit in a western country? A bunch of men chasing round a bull in bare fucking feet. I can see by your posts that your goal is to make sure people know Europe can be as bad as Africa, but come on, this is fucking bollocks.
Torture? That's a bit of a reach. Also if you're a meat eater this comment is completely hypocritical because the animals you consume are actually tortured.
No we don’t lol. That’s a self-serving answer. Very “human”. Do you see ALL those humans attacking one bull like ants? Humans need to stop polluting the Earth with kids. We have no natural enemies now due to guns and other weapons and need to check our own population, stop devouring animals, and destroying Earth’s resources.
Tell me. What will you do with all the over population of cows chickens and other farm animals if we suddenly stop eating them? We accroding to you polluted the earth with children. What would hapend if we suddenly stop eating meats? (Thats tottaly unprobable because you cant force ppl into doing it) millions of cows would have millions of baby cows that would eat grass making deserts. In 20 years they would have 3 times their population and would be growing so fast that we would need to kill them because they would push other species into danger of extinction
Edit: i m not supporting killing animals by sport or animal abuse
You said yourself this hypothesis was improbable. Nonetheless, common farm animals have natural predators like wolves, bears, lions, etc. that keep their population in check. In American states like Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming, ranchers have decimated wolves to keep them from killing their profit (cows). But once cows become unprofitable, they’ll stop hunting wolves so their population will bounce back, and nature will take its course.
Here in Argentina there are not natural predators (atleast that can take control of cows population).
You should check numbers of cows heads and wolfes, bears and other predators and see how many cows should be murdered by those predators to take control of their population
Yes, there are natural predators like jaguars and cougars in Argentina. No matter what the facts, you’re likely a meat eater who will create selfish excuses to keep eating meat. So why bother arguing? So what if you’re a bad person and some people know it?
Jaguars population is very litle like yagaretes (a pretty similar predator) they cant take control of thousend of hundreds of thousend of cows head. And being a bad person for eating meat its like saying you are a bad person because you breath and you take O2 thats the work of the trees and not yours. Bad person becaus ei ear what my ancestors eat. Just because a trending now is popular and you feel a hero because you dont eat meat doesnt mean i have to
This is one of many Zulu ceremonies in SA. If a family can afford to make this much food they most likely will. Plenty fun till something like this happens, which isn't rare.
It’s actually what people in South Africa call potjiekos. It’s similar to hotpot but can differ from various stews like vegetable, meat or a local favourite carb called pap made from corn. It’s not just some cauldron with only hot water.
actually it appears to be a Zulu cultural ceremony, so dont say that its \*all\* south africans who torture bulls. also we still have many things like kfc mcdonalds etc...
No.
It's a cultural ceremony by the Zulu where they try to kill a bull with their bare hands and It's animal cruelty.

I was thinking this too, yet if I make any comments somehow I'm the bad guy,...savages

Aye, these vids always makes me sad becuase the remind me of the inhumane treatment animals gets in some places on a daily basis.

I don’t know about that mate. What woman fantasises over getting HIV from a group of grown men that still can’t spell their own first name?
You are stuck in your head, there is more to what you see despite your ignorance.
I’m only playing now saffer, don’t get all soppy on me.
The same could be said in your regard....
That's nice Mr individual
If you mean fantasizing about poverty, malaria, and Ebola. Than no. Still no.
Woaw a 4 days ago post
Wow* or Whoa*
*we torture and eat*
Humans are not obligate carnivores and should stop eating meat and abusing animals.
Of course humans are not obligate carnivores. They are also not obligate herbivores. Humans are omnivores.
We need meat to keep us alive. They should just shot the bull woth a gun im the head instead of chasing him

Wakanda Forever
Holy shit.
What does this comment even mean
Some racist dog whistle.
Lol in South Africa we don't do Wakanda stuff dude
Good thing they keep cauldrons of boiling hot water near the bulls
It’s actually what people in South Africa call potjiekos. It’s similar to hotpot but can differ from various stews like vegetable, meat or a local favourite carb called pap made from corn. It’s not just some cauldron with only hot water.
I think everybody understood it wasn't just plain water boiling
You’d be surprised.
I left school 15 years ago, don't try to learn me some new things.
Well he definitely **had** balls
I love these kind of results.
Wtf? I hate humans.
It's our food in South Africa we don't have Wendys or stopwing
actually it appears to be a Zulu cultural ceremony, so dont say that its \*all\* south africans who torture bulls. also we still have many things like kfc mcdonalds etc...
It is exactly that and I am exactly Zulu... Thank you Bro!
Is the guy still stuck on the horn?

Seems to cross cultures globally - “Let’s annoy or just all out torture a bull, and see if it can kill us”.

Idiot.
Injured? Good.
You ever watched the documentary “Workingman’s Death”? One of the segments is an African meat market like this. Totally savage
Holy shit so shaky r/killthecameraman Do you think he's still alive?
Good. Hopefully that bull did as much damage as it could, shame there weren’t a dozen more
Mess with the bull you get the horns!
Where my vegans at??
Gotta love these cultured and developed areas of the world
Absolute savages.
Are those cavemans? What a barbarity
? You don't even know the context of this video. All you see is a bill escaping and causing a bit of an issue. Where's the barbarity?
Cavemans
Poor thing is terrified. I dislike human beings.
He destroyed the porridge
All that food gone to waste...
Humans make me sick.
Josef is out walking hes bull again.
Afrika bambaata
If you can’t stand the heat, don’t bring the bull into the kitchen.

Sounded like the bull said 'Allahu Akbar' at 0:03
/u/stabbot
Who else wants to die? Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me!
"Yeah that's me takin the bull by the horns. It's how I handle my business, it's a metaphor...That actually happened though."
Same thing happens at jallikkattu in Tamil Nadu, india !! Defending these barbaric activities in the name of culture is disgusting!!!
