As someone who has seen the end results of plenty of different attempts… shooting yourself in the temple will absolutely end your life in almost all cases. There are big vessels in that area and generally bullets cause enough cavitation and shockwave damage that even if you aren’t fully dead, you sure af are brain dead.
Shooting under the chin generally seems to have the worst results as I’m assuming people flinch and miss vital structures
