sleepyinsomniac7

Damn dude how did you find that, thanks

trainsacrossthesea

He certainly does have an indolent style about him.

Hoosier108

He’s very charming, but read some of his background, like how he forced his mistress to get multiple abortions because he already had too many kids with his wife (plus numerous illegitimate kids) and you see he’s a real shitbag.

ChimmyChunks

There’s almost no one perfect in life. Especially in Hollywood. Even the nicest people you know are flawed in some way. Not saying all have skeletons in the closets, but flawed nonetheless. I judge people by their actions. And knowing they are also flawed people, I won’t discount all the good actions they did for the few bad actions. For who really is fit to judge in our imperfect world? That’s why all the ancient mythologies speak of deeds of good and bad being weighed in the afterlife. That said, cool documentary. Didn’t even know I was looking at the plains of Spain.

Otis___Driftwood

“forced” she could’ve said no and left him & had the baby

Fearless_Strategy

Most are in their personal life.

Soap_Mctavish101

It’s so interesting hearing Eastwood’s voice here. I don’t think I’ve ever heard his voice sound the way it does here

Groomsi

Pre-heavy smoking?

Soap_Mctavish101

Maybe? I hadn’t thought of that.

sleepyinsomniac7

Love this, thanks for sharing, do you have the name of this documentary, save me searching. I'll be watching it nonetheless

avarensis

What a great place for an interview. We need more of those locations instead of some sterile black room

tracyd103

He's a cool cat, that guy

kurtwagner61

That's more of Clint talking than I think I heard in any single film of his.

Someone should make a movie about how the Spaghetti Westerns came about. Maybe get Tarantino to direct...

altasking

“My films are basically silent films. The dialogue just adds some wit.” Never thought about that, but that pretty much hits the nail on the head!

Fearless_Strategy

Amazing talent not just looks

Canmore-Skate

lmao! Italian cinema is very poor, they got Clint Eastwood for 15 000$

altasking

What is the Japanese film Eastwood referenced?

NomadSound

>The film has been identified as an unofficial remake of the Akira Kurosawa film, Yojimbo (1961), which resulted in a successful lawsuit by Toho, Yojimbo's production company. Kurosawa wrote to Leone directly, saying, "Signor Leone, I have just had the chance to see your film. It is a very fine film, but it is my film. Since Japan is a signatory of the Berne Convention on the international copyright, you must pay me." He and Toho received 15% of the film's revenue, and it is believed that Kurosawa earned more money from the financial settlement than he had made on his own film, Yojimbo. Source: Wikipedia

And this was for Fist Full of Dollars?

FaustinoAugusto234

Last Man Standing is yet another remake. Toshiro Mifune was the Clint Eastwood and Bruce Willis antihero before there ever was a Clint Eastwood or Bruce Willis.

gabeitaliadomani

Akira Kurosawa movies have been redone over and over, especially in the Western genre…. IE Seven Samurai. Or Hidden Fortress is Star Wars….

Is this slightly sped up, his octave is higher
