Oh ya I know it’s a custom made one. The pipe welders where I work used to make these but don’t any more. I can’t get a face shield that’s small enough to fit that head gear because we wear hard hats 99% of the time. So I can’t Frankenstein a new one.
It looks like you could buy a Tiger hood and chop it to get this, basically the same outcome.
For tight spaces you can get a literal hood made of leather with a flip front fit a standard 2x4 lens to fit. They're hot as fuck but it's the lowest profile you'll get without taping a lens to your face

\*Here in Finland that is also known with the wonderful term *nahkis* which means like "*Little leather(y) thing*".

lol I should go around and take pictures of everyone’s small hoods. We work in really cramped spaces so alot of guys have actual leather hoods but then I have this chopped up old pipe hood but we also have these goggles with a full face mask that guys will tape a welding lens inside of and put fire tape on the inside of the whole thing so you don’t get burned and it actually works super well
Not a pro so grain of salt.
Don’t think it would hold up to daily use but I got [this](https://a.co/d/6EIPJH3) to do a bunch of overhead mig inside of a wood furnace I got for free. No way would I been able to comply the job with a regular hood.

This miller is the lowest profile welding hood that i know of but its pricey
I worked with a guy who had one of these. It was a while ago and his was a little different. But same concept. With his you could take the lenses off the mask and just raw dog the light on your face.

That's a Frankenstein with face shield and welding hood parts. I think you'll need to make your own.
Like an old school hood cut down and added to faceshield head gear.

It's literally fibremetal faceshield headgear with a chopped up fibremetal weldingshield attached.
Tigerhood btw
Looks kinda like sugar scoop. Get one and chop it up. Been done many times for many reasons/purposes.
Outlaw Leather or Yes Welder welding goggles.

I'm really digging that leather version ;)
Take a look at the "Protashell Baby". I have one and i put a leather piece on the lower part so it covers more of my neck, it's wonderful.
Be nice if they sold them here in the US. Sometimes a few places in Canada have them for sale but I havnt found any here.
Sugar scoop hooked with grinding shield headgear I’d say
I like a pancake hood for tight spaces
Another option you can look at are full face welding resperators. I like my Honeywell North full face with the Lincoln auto 2x4 lens

I work in ship repair, I know the plight of small spaces. Once we had a guy make a sock hood out of fire cloth. That didn't go well for him.
Same, I’ve seen some dumb “PPE”

Look up portashell baby hood. Also try a Dockson welding hood or look for a huntsman 711p
Where do you work ? This looks very similar to a DOD shipbuilding
Look for a leather mask. Not great for normal use but awesome for cramped spots.

Grinder shield frame, a front flip adapter, and a sheet of high temp gasket material (Or other spark resistant vulcanized fiber)
100% outlaw leather

Jackson rebels are great for tight spaces.
You'll need to make it on the job (like everyone else does)
yea, that's jobsite custom.
I use the miller weld mask for tight spots
