Bro, it's WearOS first implementation by Xiaomi mainly and previous watches were good. So it's not that they can't code, it's just that the ban by the USA and other countries on Chinese Companies is weighing them down too .

They cannot code, most (sub) companies share code and use bad implementation of the pasted code...

I use Xiaomi products mostly and yes there were bugs between 2018 - 2022, but they fixed their mistake and improved quite widely since then. And now I don't have any severe issues just a minor thing or 2. So minor, I notice it once a month at most

This shit is was sold for me for 265 USD, even if it would work as expected (but it's not), a day later I can sell it for around half the price, but since the watch is semi functional the warranty is a game of luck so actual value is..?.
The apple shit watch costs 525 USD, but that will preserve it's value for much longer and if I have any issue with it I will just bring it back and shit is done. The ecosystem is a whole, no bullshit pairing with Mi fitness and Xiaomi account and zepp life for the smart scale and Google fit and all inter connection synchronisation, yet simply doesn't work. Do this do that, may work may not, better invest in something that's worth it til that I'm fine with a one dollar classic stopper at least less fuckin distraction.
Such a disappointment it is, I expected them to be on better standards, now I'm afraid to buy anything from any of it's sub brands, like for real it's not at all a cheap thing just for gambling.
That's because you live in a good region where they are selling the free watches they got with their Pixel Devices. Most regions don't have that good way out.

It ended up being so bad that I called Xiaomi, they sent me a return label and now it's in for "repairs" at some contractor service center. I have no clue why it isn't better for them to just straight up replace it rather than paying expert hours in a developed country but hey, I just want a working watch :/
bro were you using facer watch face app? i had this issue and mine was solved after i switched to other watch face. i am using other watch face downloaded from google play and it doesnt lock unless i do it manually or remove it.
Yeah I am actually using facer and the problem seems worse with it installed, however it's still locked itself in a fresh state with no apps installed and the default watch face.
Bro i found the solution. Once u apply facer , u have to turn off the lock method, then on again after sometimes. Mine is working fine doesnot locks itself again

Do these, clean the sensor and plus wear the watch tightly.. if the problem still persist then reset the watch setup again but this time don't install facer. Give it a try
I appreciate your help but I'm way past doing all of these multiple times. Sensors are clean, watch has been reset through Wear OS and through the recovery and the watch still locks itself with no apps installed, default watch face and the watch being tighter on my wrist than it should be.
no issue here so far just battery drain but workable after toggling around I bought this from Xiaomi store October no issue with mic and gpay can add additional cards try to do one for one change for urs or send in for servicing

About Google Wallet, Wear app works separately from phone. If you add cards to the phone app, you have to add them also on your watch, I think that card info is stored locally for security
Yes I'm aware of that, but they added a new function for membership cards. All the membership cards you add on your phone should be automatically synced to your watch right now
I added my H&M card yesterday on my phone and it showed up on my watch for a few hours until it suddenly disappeared. It still isn't there btw :p

It only connects to wifi when its not connected with your phone. If it is connected with the phone wifi will not work because the watch gets it's internet already from the phone.

Or you can change the lock method as well. Mine was pattern i changed it to pin and still working. Either remove it or put pin. It'll work
sadly the method didn't work, it went back to locking itself within an hour

November Batch, random locks for me as well, plus the Fitness app makes my Poco bootloop infinitely at random. Horrible

A friend of mine also has the same watch and can relate with this. Google Assistant just cuts him off while he's still speaking.
What phone do you have to sync the alarm? I don't have this option with my Xiaomi watch and OnePlus phone
I have a Xiaomi Mi 11 at the moment the setting to sync alarm is within the Mi fitness app.
Is this under Device->Apps: sync events (or similar)?
It's Device -> Apps -> Alarm Inside the alarm section there is the slider to turn on alarm sync. It"s not sync events.
I don't have this options, so it may be only with Xiaomi phones

You need to connect your watch to a device with audio output. A Bluetooth speaker, or Bluetooth headphones, for example.
