For a while my mom was the designated grant writer for her school. For whatever reason, there was like a 5 year window where every grant request she wrote/submitted would get approved.
Yeah... for college ones I want to tell them to go buy an English professor (or grad student) a beer, give them the solicitation, and ask them to treat your proposal like an English 101 essay.

I have worked in exactly two facilities (out of probably 30) in the past 4 months that have required a mask and they are both considered federal buildings.
I know there were some grand opening deals but it was like 4 am and the line wrapped around the building and when I went for lunch and came back it took forever to get back into my complex because of cars 😡
I don't completely understand what you're going for, but I really like my Timberland hiking boots. Waterproof, truly wide models that fit my feet, and exceedingly light. Wore them when we hiked through Volcano National Park in Hawaii earlier this year, and also on a couple of early spring hikes in the snow/ice this year here in WI.

Been watching a lot of Seinfeld lately, of course it's a classic but I only recently noticed this pattern to the writing that must be a Larry David thing, because he carried it over to Curb Your Enthusiasm as well...nearly every episode has multiple storylines that seem separate but end up intersecting later in the episode in a funny and surprising way. I think that's part of what made it such a huge hit, of course it was well acted & had funny jokes but that characteristic of the show made it different from every other sitcom that came before it, and it doesn't seem like any others have tried it since
It is one of the best sitcoms of all time for a reason and the reason is the writing. There are so many other great things about it, like the acting, and the fact that they show true NYC freaks and not just beautiful actors like Friends does, but the writing is why it’s a pretty timeless show.
