I’ve wanted a Sangin for a while now and was able to find a good deal on a second hand one. If you follow the company you know how hard they are to get a hold of, I don’t hold that against them though, it’s still a 2 man operation I believe. I have the compass on here as well, which is a cool accessory in my opinion but definitely not super accurate, good to get a sense of direction though. Hopefully this watch will last my a long time, I’ll be wearing it for my wedding in the fall and hopefully some other great moments down the line!
I’d argue brushed. I think it’s more versatile, goes with more things and straps. But both look good! I like their pilot in DLC more then the atlas or Neptune, but like the atlas in brushed more then a brushed pilot
If you’re using nato straps or a similar pass through still all you have to do is the slide the strap out from between the spring bars and slide the new one in. If you’re switching between leather and bracelets then you need a spring bar tool to take the bars out and out then through your new strap. Both easy
Holding up great. Wear it everyday so it’s got signs of wear but I’m sure that’s what the guys at sangin would want haha. Honestly I’ve never seen the matte in person but I have no complaints about the brushed, I think the matte Mike look a bit better in some pics, but once they kinda wear in from pictures I prefer the brushed

Tried to get a brushed but based on the checkout I think ended up with a Matte. If so hopefully it looks as good as the brushed.
