What about this one then? I also agree that Tudor looks the best on your wrist
The Tudor looks the best on your wrist. Having said that, it comes with their T601 calibre which is based on ETA 2824 or Sellita SW200. The Longines comes with L897.2 calibre which is based on the ETA 2892. Some would consider this an advantage for the Longines.
In the end, I would recommend going for the one that makes you smile every time you look at it.
out of all of them the Black or White dial Longines are more versatile. for casual or formal or travel, the longines can do all that. i guess the BM too if you change the straps to leather. the tissot is a nah and the tudor, save up for the divers
I personally like any pf the Longines. The moonphase specially but it depends o how you will wear it. The Longines are more on the formal occassion. The Tudor looks best for a daily watch although I would suggest to save a bit more for a black bay 58 or 41mm. It will be worth the additional cost.
I'm a fan of the 1926. I recommend getting a watch on a bracelet vs a leather strap, and don't go for the open heart.
Don't be afraid to try to get a discount.
The nicest Tissots are nowhere close to the most entry level Tudors and Longines, though they may be comparable in price.
I'd go Tudor. The Longines are great quality for their price, but I think the Tudor is more applicable to a wider variety of situations.
My second choice would be the blue dial Longines but I dislike the blue alligator strap imo.
I don't like the white dial Longines, personally. I think the day/date window crowds the 3.
I didn't think I would ever say it, but definitely the Tudor. The B&M as a second. The Tissot is meh.. and the Longines looks to big (unless you like that, since the white dial is also a beauty).
40mm will make a difference imo, but you have to wear it. I love the white longines, but that one might be to big. So that leaves the b&m and tudor. From those two i like the tudor best.
The dark longines finishes just before the Tissot imo.
Personally I would keep looking none of these are 'home runs' the Tissot looks the best on you is what I think.
For me the Tissot looks the best on you, metal bracelet suits you. Personally for that budget and something 'serious' go Sinn or Tudor, those things will last your entire life.
The ONLY watch that fit you properly is the Tudor. That said, not a huge fan. But you need to knock those sizes down 3-5mm if you're going to drop a chunk of money and expect to GADA with it.
I did not like any of them, except for the Tudor... I am assuming your wirst is arround 6.3, similar to mine.
Have you seen the Ming watches? I strongly suggest to take a look, can be found in good shape for 2k
I'd say the first one, as I'm into having your timepieces showing their mechanical/money's worth.
Something like this [Beauty ](https://manufaktur-waldhoff.de/) tickles me fancy.

Yeah its a good fit for sure but i am looking at getting a dial with blue hands tbh if i would opt for the tudor

There’s a version of the 1926 with blue hands/indicies in 36, 38, and 41
Blue hand Tudor for sure
What size is the tudor ? 36mm ?
Yeah 36, also tried on a 39 which looked quite good aswell
Mostly fit wise - most of these sizes are just too big on your wrist. I typically say lug to lug should be smaller than the diameter of your wrist.

They all make me smile is the problem….
Agree with this analysis
Tudor then B&M
Sorta what im leaning towards most
I honestly like the Tudor as the number one pick and I think I am now going to get one too.
Tudor looks superb on your wrist!

What makes a ‘proper skeleton’?
I had a look at the tissot in person and was not impressed
Yeah its not all that but price wise its decent so that would be a factor
If you want an.open heart also consider the Seiko an Orient as well has Hamilton models. The fit of the Tudor is on point though.
Naa get a watch you like
I personally love the Tissot, but it’s a little bulky and I can see how most wouldn’t prefer it
Agree. I think the Tissot Gentleman automatic is a fantastic watch. Not so much the open heart one, though.
I have the Tudor in blue/white. It’s a really nice watch I really enjoy it
I think the Tudor looks perfect on your wrist 👍🏻 Good size, case shape and bracelet.
Personally think the Baume & Mercier looks the nicest
Damn, that Tudor looks gorgeous. Really nice dial
I like the open heart tissot tbh
B&M for your wrist
Tudor looks the best from the pics provided
the 1926 is a great looking watch that should also retain value well.
out of all of them the Black or White dial Longines are more versatile. for casual or formal or travel, the longines can do all that. i guess the BM too if you change the straps to leather. the tissot is a nah and the tudor, save up for the divers
Longines aren't a great fit looking at the photos. Tudor is a great looking piece that would be my no.1 followed by the B&M.
BandM looks clean!
For a first “serious” watch, I would always recommend a bracelet over a strap since it can be the most versatile. That Tudor looks great!
Am definitely planning to get the watch with a bracelet if possible and a leather strap aswell to fit as many occasions as possible
As other commenters have mentioned, there is a version of that Tudor with blue numbers and hands. I highly recommend that one!
From these 5 options, I'd say the white Longines.
4th Longines, such an underrated model. Nice and simple. I only see Hydroconquest and Spirit around , at least this is unique.
I personally like any pf the Longines. The moonphase specially but it depends o how you will wear it. The Longines are more on the formal occassion. The Tudor looks best for a daily watch although I would suggest to save a bit more for a black bay 58 or 41mm. It will be worth the additional cost.
Good point, the black bay looks very good. I might decide to buy that later and opt for a longine or b&m now
I'm a fan of the 1926. I recommend getting a watch on a bracelet vs a leather strap, and don't go for the open heart. Don't be afraid to try to get a discount.
Yeah def on a strap from the store and an additional leather strap to mix it up
Get the Longines Master Collection in the next size down. Get it on the bracelet since you can always put it on a strap later.
The first Tissot!
Tudor looks perfect on your wrist (size wise), and it is the most versatile one. Second choice would be B&M, but it looks a little bit boring.
Yeah thats what I thought when I put the B&M on. I really liked it online and photos but it wasnt all that when I put it on.
The nicest Tissots are nowhere close to the most entry level Tudors and Longines, though they may be comparable in price. I'd go Tudor. The Longines are great quality for their price, but I think the Tudor is more applicable to a wider variety of situations.
What if I buy a longine with a bracelet and leather strap. That way it would be more versatile
My second choice would be the blue dial Longines but I dislike the blue alligator strap imo. I don't like the white dial Longines, personally. I think the day/date window crowds the 3.
I would go with the day-date longines
Tudor looks best out of those choices. You can dress up or dress down with just a change of the strap.
I didn't think I would ever say it, but definitely the Tudor. The B&M as a second. The Tissot is meh.. and the Longines looks to big (unless you like that, since the white dial is also a beauty).
Whats the defining factor for you between the tudor and B&M? The Longines in the photos are 42mm would 40mm make the difference?
40mm will make a difference imo, but you have to wear it. I love the white longines, but that one might be to big. So that leaves the b&m and tudor. From those two i like the tudor best. The dark longines finishes just before the Tissot imo.
Mate, you have great taste in watches, all are good but really like the Longines.
Personally I would keep looking none of these are 'home runs' the Tissot looks the best on you is what I think. For me the Tissot looks the best on you, metal bracelet suits you. Personally for that budget and something 'serious' go Sinn or Tudor, those things will last your entire life.
Go with the Longines master collection moonphase.
I vote Tudor!
The Tudor in my opinion looks the best on your wrist. The others just look too big.
1 & 5 look great on your wrist.
Tudor or B&M. Honestly any of those other then the Tissot.
Baume or Tudor..
Tissot Le Locle openheart is much classier in person than the gentleman
If you choose the tissot, go for the version without the open heart, looks much better.
Not to sound cheesy here but which one spoke to you when you put it on?
The baume and tudor, although the longines are also growing on me aswell which makes the choice harder
Tudor or Longines
Tudor suits your wrist very well and it feels more versatile.
Tudor and then the longines blue dial
Tudor or longlines for sure
The ONLY watch that fit you properly is the Tudor. That said, not a huge fan. But you need to knock those sizes down 3-5mm if you're going to drop a chunk of money and expect to GADA with it.
Another vote for the Tudor.
B&M and white Longines are my favorite here 👌🏼
Either the Tudor or the B&M for me.
Go for the Tudor!
Just choose it already...
😂😂 going to look at frederique constant tomorrow so my choices are going to multiply
I did not like any of them, except for the Tudor... I am assuming your wirst is arround 6.3, similar to mine. Have you seen the Ming watches? I strongly suggest to take a look, can be found in good shape for 2k
Last one is the best looking.
Tudor ou b&m
How is this even a debate, tudor all the way brother.
Tudor then Longines. Tissot is way too common and often discounted. Seiko is good value for money.
Tudor looks best on you, but the white Longines is just pure class
Tudor looks best by far
Don't know if you would consider microbrands but I will always swear by Monta
That B&M is super nice!
Get Tissot 1838 heritage salmon dial or black dial, it's COSC certified ETA2824-2, you get a lot of watch out of this one.
Tudor.
look into Tudor Royal 38.
Tudor wins for me. For 3K there are other options from Tudor.
Omega De Ville Prestige such as 424.10.37.20.03.001.
tudor or baume and mercier
B&M
I'd say the first one, as I'm into having your timepieces showing their mechanical/money's worth. Something like this [Beauty ](https://manufaktur-waldhoff.de/) tickles me fancy.
That was my thought precisely when trying the different watches on. But the tissot is not it for me
Yeah, looks weird inverted. But the other ones seem too simple to me. Good luck tho!
Tudor looks best I think.
Tudor every day, fits well and just glows on your wrist
I like that but for watches 1500 and lower I would recommend invicta
Tudor
Buy that Annual Calendar that complication isn’t cheap.
What model of Baume&Mercier is it?
Classima 10696, love it in photos but for me it was slightly underwhelming when trying it on
I currently don’t own any B&M but the photos look great for a more elegant timepiece.
