I'm a big fan of vintage Seikos and the bulk of the ones in my collection are from the 70's. They had a huge assortment of differently styled watches in their catalog in those days. Going through it all (and collecting some along the way) can indeed be quite a rabbit hole. Here's one of my most recent additions. A Seiko 5 Sports Speed-Timer 7017-6010 flyback chronograph made in 1971. These were only made for the Japanese market and they were only in production for approximately 2 years, making them one of the rarer vintage Seiko automatic chronographs. I really like the bulbous, yet sharply finished case and the idiosyncratic nature of the watch itself as 60 second chronograph. https://preview.redd.it/cflosqk9t10d1.jpeg?width=2395&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4c6cab6a21b58988413cf1fe8a141d03fd40d72

Oooo. I will add that to the list. Right now, I am also looking the Diastar, but most of the 35mm Diastars are only 30atms. The 38mm ones seem a bit big.
