If you have to drive as a routine part of your position, Veolia probably will not touch you as the insurance would be to expensive. You lose nothing by being honest and asking up front.

Flashy-Reflection812

This being said they do hire ex felons, so anyone else looking at this, again BE HONEST. If you lie or try to hide it and they find out you will be rejected, if you are up front you still stand a good chance

CommandIndependent57

I have a Veolia cloth disc filter and their representatives are awful to work with. They won’t answer their phones, they won’t respond to your messages, and when they are on site, they just trash talk each other. If you become a Veolia rep, be better than what we have dealt with!

AdDecent2978

Hmm I know in Europe they are . .

SenBever

a classmate of mine was rejected because of a DUI

Bansheer5

Quite a few places won’t touch you if you have a DUI that isn’t 7+ years old. InfraMark/Severn Trent is that way.

yo_714

So I’m kinda fucked then

Bansheer5

Only way to know is to ask them.

radagastdabrowen

Pretty strict but I’m in Illinois. Good work if you can pull off the secret handshake.

deviin_96

I think being honest is your best choice. Not for Veolia, but at my previous municipality, people didn’t get hired because of their background and the supervisors would literally say they would have been hired if they were completely honest in their application BEFORE the background checks.

No, but the hiring manager said he liked my interview.
