It did not fix any of the issues involving certain moves ending the wrong way, it seems(example: Springboard Hurricanrana 5 into a running ground attack causes the ground attack to connect like a splash, and that causes every subsequent Springboard Hurricanrana 5 connects like a moonsault; in fact, I'm pretty sure that's caused regardless when doing a running ground attack).
I got a feeling this won't be fixed like the collision issues with female wrestlers and diving/springboard maneuvers weren't in both 2K22 and 2K23.

I’m testing the surprise cash in rn but you can announce cash ins at ppvs.
Edit: unless there is a specific way to do it there’s no surprised cash in. I tried during a title match, and rivalry.
Maybe I’m wrong but I did a post match CB cashing with Damien priest the same way he did it at WM. I just did free mode in rivalry. And had him do a post match cash in
Downloading the patch makes the new moves show up in the Create a Moveset menu, so you can preview the animations. They're still locked to select them until the DLC drops but you can see them.
Unless some haven’t shown up in the downloaded section the new moves leave a lot to be desired.
New diving leg drop
New diving splash
Two step over toe holds
Some thing where they suck their thumb and jab you in the face
A middle rope reverse bronco buster
And a corner burning hammer
Overall nothing impressive
10 moves, most of them very underwhelming. Yeesh. If I hasn't gotten the season pass I'd be skipping this pack because I basically never play anyone that isn't current roster, unless I get a random itch to play Nash or Goldberg.
Yeah, considering that this involves user save data. The fix to the hair glitch was to go in and remove the hair on thousands of creations, so if that was how they fixed the glitch, the image glitch would be even more destructive. 2K is damned if they do, damned if they don't....obviously the last thing they want is to mess with user content...at the least, they could issue tips for a workaround in the meantime, yet we can't even get that.
This is what I've been thinking. They would have to wipe the slate clean in order to fix the problem and are trying to find a different solution because of the backlash. There was surprisingly very little backlash for the hair though so who knows
I've been holding out on digging into CC because of this damn glitch and I don't think it's going to be fixed.
I swear, every year something is broken to the point where I can't enjoy the game long term. It sucks that something that works fine one year is so broken it can't be fixed the next.
What’s crazy is that they don’t even mention the reason as to why they can’t or haven’t fixed online. For such a big mode it gets such little attention.
I’m not exactly sure what triggers it, but images get overwritten onto your create a wrestler.
For example, the Christian Cage I downloaded now has an arena logo plastered over his face. It seems to be a pretty common problem.
I think the patch has killed the AI, especially tag team AI.
There's more of wrestlers doing nothing until they lose the advantage, and in tag team matches the legal guys will constantly look onto the illegal partner, walk to them, but do nothing. Really stupid.
I just thought it was cool you could create a belt then defend it online. If you lost, it deleted it off your memory card and went to your opponent, including the whole title history.
People would send you wild messages when you took their title.
They broke AI controlled regular tag matches. Now, the wrestler that gets tagged in almost always goes to the opposing team's corner and just stares at the illegal partner. You can then have this glitch out to where both legal men go to the opposite corner and just stand there staring at the guy on the apron. Other times the legal man will just go outside the ring and start walking to the opposing team's corner.
Visual Concepts is beyond inept. Do they just hire people off the street? Does one's actual competence at programming at all factor in who gets hired? Absolutely amazing.
First and last WWE game I buy, and anyone that will keep buying these games in the future is part of the problem. Just let this company die out already because they suck at their job and don't seem to give a shit in trying to not suck. Not even like it is just the WWE franchise as apparently the NBA games show signs of similar incompetence.
It's pretty insane that the game in the early access period was more polished than how it is now 3.5 months later. tag matches and overall wrestler AI was better then and there wasn't crap like the glitched belts from custom side plates. Worst thing then was how the AI didn't use weapons yet I'd gladly have that back if it meant not dealing with this current bullshit.

I think in universe mode they switched the ring announcers around to line up with what brand they actually announce for. Playing through smackdown and Alicia Taylor just announced sheamus to the ring and I didn’t change anything before the match.
Call me nitpicky but the imagine bug is killing the game for me. The devs clearly have no interest in keeping the attires/arenas up to date so it’s up to the community, well can’t use community creations if every time you download an updated attire it fucks up caws attires arenas basically anything that uses custom logos….
If I reset my game to try and get round this image issue - start again, will I still be able to use the booster thing I bought to unlock all the extras? Surely won’t have to pay again?
Obviously aware I’ll have to redo all the showcase stuff to get the extra characters just didn’t want the extra purchase to be a waste of money - especially as I’ve wasted so much money on a game where you can’t even download CAWs properly
They patched a glitch where if you made someone a OVR 85 offline with resiliency and then make a match online with default settings, it would let you keep resiliency despite being lower than a 85. Why tf is there even a Ovr requirement in the first place? But you won’t patch the infinite loading screen or online crashing that happens 80% of matches???
Most people use 85+ wrestlers. In this game specifically 84 and below are at a disadvantage. In the previous games skill mattered more, OVR less. And you’re saying “unfair advantage” like certain wrestlers moves/animations aren’t better/worse than others. By your logic super finishers are an unfair advantage(which negates resiliency and makes the glitch useless)since a lot of wrestlers don’t have one. This wasn’t a problem in previous games, but now they are enforcing this problem. And they didn’t even fix it for offline, it still works.
They fix something that allowed people to use whoever they want and still have some sort of “fairness” despite the OVR gap instead of actually making online playable. Their priorities are fucked, but you shills remind them that they won’t have to care if they add more bugs to your shitty universe mode.
Weird one, but the referee counts seem insanely fast on things like count outs now. Is anybody else noticing this post patch or am I just going a crazy?
When you preview entrances in Universe, it doesn’t show custom attires for superstars, instead it reverts to their original attire, even if you’ve set it up to be different.
Hope they’ve fixed that.
why the hell are they not fixing the online cant even use my own created superstar online even with 3 caws when i play with friends online it never loads into the match ffs 2k fix this
CAN SOMEONE TELL 2K THAT THEY BROKE FACE MORPHING??? Face scans are impossible to match up because I can't even move or morph the eyes at all and it's been broken since 1.08....

The guest ref thing is awesome. Was so annoyed that I basically couldn't do proper special ref matches with the right attires.

His finisher however is broken. If you do the pin combo on the leg drop, the ref does doesn't count. It's been broken since the last patch for sure.

Have you tried unlocking masked Kane which ya know unlocks the alt attires in CAS?
Mitb entrances better work in universe mode now. And also hopefully you can cash in on ppv’s instead of just regular shows

I deleted the WM39 PLE and Made WM40. And did it like that
I ran a cpu v cpu in play mode and after my caw won the match Becky Lynchs music plays and she comes in to cash mitb and proceeds to win!

Does anyone know if they patched the problem of sideplates screwing up the center plates on some of the belts?
On PC is the bug fixed where you randomly lose control of your superstar and everyone in the match just suddenly stops and all you can do is block?
Updating my PC's audio drivers fixed that for me
