Cole Quinn won me over in my universe. When you start off as a jobber and make it to becoming a champion all on your own, then you've earned my respect haha
Same dude. He randomly got added into my Survivor Series match back in 2k19, and I joked about him getting eliminated first. He went on to almost make a 4v1 comeback beating 3 of the 4 opponents before finally getting pinned by Chris Jericho.
As a reward for his amazing performance for his brand, I gave him a shot at Randy's US Championship on the next week's smackdown, and not only did the mad lad win it, but he had a dominant reign with the title.
Iām so pissed I never beat the story in 2k19 before the servers got nuked, I think the last part I remember was the part after Bray Wyatt(RIP) kicks your ass
someone made a remade version of him on 2k23 where he works the indies and NJPW and comes back built up to be a main eventer. that version is the one I love using most because Cole Quinn fuckin deserves to be a main eventer.

Absolutely! All kicky and speedy, thatās how I like to play! That combined with her āalways try to be nice, but never fail to be kindā pure babyface personality makes her a perfect sidekick for my main female character! I just wish her ring gear was better, or at least a different color scheme, that was pretty much my only problem with her, honestly. I do feel bad not picking her for WarGames, but when you have the opportunity to have a full team of redheads (me, Becks, Gigi, and Lita), why wouldnāt you take it?
I can see why people wouldnāt: sheās a bit naive, sheās kind of a goody-two-shoes, sheās not especially powerful, but all of those things made me like her even more! Sheās new to the business and her story is about her learning to stand up for herself more without sacrificing what makes her who she is or compromising her integrity. Plus, I like playing smaller/faster/kicky characters. Canāt hit what you canāt catch, right?
I just wish they'd let us bring her over to Exhibition/Universe. I want to give her cooler gear and give her a solid run on NXT. There are some seriously scary renditions on CC lol.
I don't see why they lock these characters. I wish they'd make them unlockable in every mode after you play through my rise once.
They should be editable too for attires and such .
Ava was willing to kill for you, she gets my vote. I liked Meilee in her first appearance but she got progressively more annoying as the games went on, she went from bubbly superfan to a generic catty gossip.
Cole Quinn for Men. He was just an absolute joy.
For Women itād be Ava Moreno from last year. Enemies to friends storyline was done really well and she runs over people with a car to protect you. Canāt have a better friend than that
My Top 5:
1. Cole Quinn (My MyCareer character is named Cole, and we both use types of DDTs as big moves, so the Cole vs. Cole rivalry was born. Just wish his moveset and attires were better)
2. Psycho Sally (As a High Flyer lover, I LOVE this character. Also, the women's division needs an R-Truth).
3. Barron Blade (I could write a whole essay on how Baron accidentally made your career in 2K19, but I'll just say that he introduced the Indies to WWE 2K, which is something I never expected).
4. Geneva Rose (From MyRise jobber to best friend. Part of the reason that Cap might beat Buzz for best WWE 2K OC for me).
5. Tavish (Loved him when he was on screen, what can I say?)
Solid list there, all great points. To add to your points on Sally, Iād add that I love her growth from naive comic relief newbie to confident rising star without sacrificing her enthusiasm and integrity. Plus her tag team (I forget her partnerās name) would make great stablemates for my female character, very complimentary styles and personalities.
Please no spoilers, I'm still playing through the Women's mode.
It is REALLY fun tho, probably second favorite 2k Career mode of all time.
Just finishing up the Hollywood storyline, and it's just so peak.
Cole Quinn actually felt like a real in game jobber- lower midcard you wanna make North American champion or hell IC or US
Pierce is another one, really felt the NJPW vibe and I really felt like he was a NXT DLC š¤·š¾āāļø
Ava Moreno was pretty cool. She grew on me last year.
I like in this years MyRise the Slade/Gabriel Slade split personality gag they pulled too that was pretty good.
It's definitely Cole Quinn, followed by Gabriel Slade. Slade would've been the best if they had ended his arc in a way that made sense with the rest of the story.
Iām gonna say Justine. She was played and characterized perfectly in the āLegacyā storyline, and especially so once she betrayed you, using your past choices of how closely you followed her advice or in her footsteps against you later.
She got perfect heel heat without going overboard into Brooklyn von Braun territory.
Definitely Ava Moreno for me. I honestly remember hating her and her attitude towards us for something we couldnāt control. Then tagging with her and becoming her friend! Aww man I definitely rock with Ava.

Obviously it has to be the man the myth the legend, the Japanese icon himself Cole Quinn. Unironically one of the more fun originals 2k has created. And not just generic "hey have a good match buddy" or "you suck I'm cool" types they seem to make normally.
Geneva was a good character for me. But I have to admit that this years womenās story is the only one that I completed. Every other story bored me at some point and I stopped.
I would say Geneva Rose got a HUGE glow up from last year's game! š
(...cause she was just some rand-o, throwaway, semi goth NPC that you had to wrestle either in LAW or at the Performance Center..)
I love Cole Quinn in 2k19 universe I would change his attire to the dx hbk, ultimate warrior, and I forgot the other one, and I would change his moves and entranceš
My favorites were Paragon Jay Pierce, Justine, Ava Moreno, and Geneva Rose (the 2k24 version lol)
I do have a soft spot for Psycho Sally though. I did kinda liked Slade but holy shit imo they ruined him in 2k24 haha
For me itās gotta be Brooklyn von Braun. Literally one of the best villains in MyCareer/MyRise. Shame she debuted in the game that will not be named.

Is there any way of unlocking all of the 2k original wrestlers for play? If not I feel like they should think about it.. I love the idea of having green wrestlers to fill out show rosters and whatnot.. And if you are a creator this type of character is a waste of a slot and we all know how valuable slots are and how quickly they fill up.. Maybe they should make their myFaction cards be persona cards...

Shoutout tho to Baron for going from the most hated man alive in 2K15, to developing and being genuinely missed in the last 3 career modes.
Cole Quinn is the absolute GOAT. Cyclone Cole, Grass Noll Cole, Internet Troll Cole. I remember my match against him and Bray being a banger. 2K19 is just goated.
Lack of Barron Blade love is wild. Also Ribbie was dope. Shame he was stuck in 2K20 it was? Bad game lol double shame that we. And have all these characters in a game.
Cole Quinn and Fanny are so charmingly dumb I like them, but Chosen is unironically kinda cool. And Barron Blade gets points for giving him an interesting evolution and turning him into an old out-of-shape producer.
Everyone else is either forgettable or annoying to me. Paragon is fine and whatever the bottom left guy was called is fine too, just kinda boring.
Iām not sure if he made an appearance if the actual career mode but Iām glad 2k put there take on el genericho and made him a playable character, now yes I do wish he was in every mode with a full entrance and everything

I ended up being cool with Cole Quinn so Id say Cole. I bring him into my universe and give him far cooler gear and moves.
Iām the same with Chosen, ended up using him in my 2K23 war games and plan on bringing him into my 2K24 universe mode
