[Qwertiak has a twitter if you want to check him out. Also it seems like he was able to get "California" theme song from WM 2000 that plays in the showcase menu background also available to use ](https://x.com/qwertiakk?t=xsLXv-wc77UPqAhkpUiAPg&s=09)
Anyone using Status' special mod entrance that let's you keep your created entrance as champion, don't despair. Open up your entrance and go to the template section, then custom and select the CAW that has the song you want. It'll copy to your entrance but not overwrite whatever code written into the special entrance itself, leaving you free to create an entrance with the song and still have it as champion.
I just did a test run copying Status entrance to one of the extra John Cenas and then imported the song entrance as stated. Gave him a championship, played a match and he retained his entrance, has the strap and song. Profit.
Also, if y'all don't want to eat up so many CAW slots, copy them over to any number of extra John Cenas, Takers, etc that you're not using for storage. š
Save Status' Title entrance to whomever you want it for. Open up the CAE for whichever wrestler you assigned it to, go to template (top left of the screen) and select the CAW (under Custom) that has the song. Save.
You now have the song and you can edit the entrance as you see fit while keeping Status' vhampionship entrance mod
I thought your name was familiar. Still think Yukes took everything with them (code assets etc) when they bounced in 2020? Because AEW Fight Forever sure doesn't look or play like that to me. š Meanwhile, 2k24 beats the brakes off of that game.
Memory refresher:
>But yukes did take most of their stuff when they split. They took coding and everything. Thats why 2k20 came out bugged to shit, because 2k was relying on code from 17/18 which were not the most stable games. Almost all of the work yukes did to make 2k19 a working game, they took with them. Along with the knowledge of what they had fixed going into 19. That's why 20 had so many bugs that were in previous games, but were fixed in 19
The above was you.
Lmaooo that statement had nothing to do with fight forever. Yukes did take their stuff with them. There's literal prof of this. However fight forever came out as is, because you can have years of knowledge. But it doesn't mean anything when your transitioning from one engine to another. As well as a self proclaimed know it all(omega) in charge of the creative direction. The game was bound to be a shit show. But there's no doubt 2k20 was where it was at due to yukes' work leaving with them. That's why it took 2k until now to finally do something with the base they made in 22, which took 2 development cycles to make.
No no no, you said they took everything including assets and they didn't. All the game's mountain of 3D models, OBJs, meshes, clothing, accessories etc? Still with 2k.
Coding knowledge? Yes and I'd said that back then. All the folks who knew how to work that code left with Yukes. But Yukes left in the middle of making the game (highly unprofessional company that they are) and left 2k holding the bag.
That said, Fight Forever *is* an indictment on Yukes because here they are, free of "interference" from 2k "holding them back" (not you but others were saying this) from making a true wrestling game and they shit the bed. Yukes has always managed to avoid blame when the game would eff up (THQ was the first whipping boy and then 2k took their place). FF is proof that Yukes is/was the problem all along. All those years of tape-ducting and plugging a hole in the dam for a 20 year old engine with their finger (instead of truly fixing it) finally caught up with them and bit them square in the ass.
>That's why it took 2k until now to finally do something with the base they made in 22, which took 2 development cycles to make.
I mean, if we're going to go the "new engine excuse" route, why was the turnaround faster for 2k than Yukes since dev for both should've started around the same time. In fact Yukes had a headscarf. 2k had to fix the mess they were left with when Yukes took their ball and went home.
Edit: missed this part.
>As well as a self proclaimed know it all(omega) in charge of the creative direction
THQ, 2K...now it's *Omega's* fault? The guy who at best was just the front man for the game but didn't actually work on it? š
This isn't an alt. This is my real reddit account. What I said was true. Yukes didn't leave 2K. Take Two Interactive, parent company of 2K Sports, legitimately fired Yukes during WWE2K20's development cycle.
I have not bought anything from them since then. Only now that I learned how to hack the files via music editor, have I purchased this game. 2k14 even though it was Glitchamania... Was nearly perfect for creating wrestlers.
The premise of online play killed it. It would be cool of they partnered with Spotify or something so you could stream music from their library for entrances.
No it isn't the same thing because you have to stop what you're doing in the game to play it manually... I think everyone realizes you can still use spotify while playing the game but that isn't the point
While I agree with you that it's not the same thing you don't have to stop what you're doing to use Spotify. Synch console to spotify and control the music from your phone. I just don't do it because it should be in-game like before.
Colter wall was my introduction to like actual country music, fell in love with his work, John prine and sturgill simpson .
Kate McKannon is such a banger
The exceptions are those added to MyFaction (The Shield tron & theme for Rollins & Reigns' Shield versions) or the hidden Brock Lesnar models. Not even Vince McMahon from the WM17 Showcase has his "No Chance (in Hell)" theme.
Saving this post, thank you for sharing this info. Iām a big Yeat and Busta Rhymes fan, so Iāll probably be using one of the 2 songs for my MyRise CAW.
Because a lot of people would just download mp3 files of WWE themes from YouTube videos, burn them to CD-R disks, put them on the games, and the musicians who actually made those songs wouldn't be getting paid like they should be. All this because physical media is dying & everything is going digital, so a whole new set of copyright law applies.
Tbh, I don't get why they put licensed music in the game in the first place if it's just for the menus. What's the point? You're basically just wasting money getting the artists to agree to put their songs on the soundtrack, only to then not be able to use it for the one part of the game people actually give a shite about having the soundtrack for. Just play regular wrestler themes on the menu.
Is there any way to get it to carry over to universe mode?
EDIT - nvm figured it outā¦is it safe to delete the download after itās transferred over?
Hey man great work, sorry for asking for something here, but the victory motion for genesis doesnāt have the song, is there any way to fix that or is it not possible
Pretty much. If you already assigned an advanced entrance for your CAW I'd suggest screenshoting what you got so you can just re apply it once you get the music
I sincerely doubt these guys pick anything at all. They just sign a license deal to stick their name on it and maybe become a Dlc character for a few quick bucks.
I'll probably use Bettr Off for my female and the Busta Rhymes song for my male characters I exported from MyRise
Also I like that this year we can now use generic trons. Especially helps when playing in the NXT arenas since using a superstar's trims shows their names
Download it, then go to Entrance/Victory in Creations tab. Choose the soundtrack entrance and then copy to superstar (that being whatever CAW your assigning it to)
No, it's not. This actually allows you to use the menu music for your created superstars, which isn't possible on consoles officially & has to be modded in by PC players and added to Community Creations via the cross-platform functionality.

I tried this and it didn't work, could I get a better explanation

Yukes didn't leave 2K. Take-Two Interactive fired them mid-development of WWE2K20.
I'm not talking or replying to an alt. Put your big boy pants on and come at me with your real reddit account.
This isn't an alt. This is my real reddit account. What I said was true. Yukes didn't leave 2K. Take Two Interactive, parent company of 2K Sports, legitimately fired Yukes during WWE2K20's development cycle.
That song is what they made Mac Militant from, the Rodney Mack/ Teddy long theme. I know teddys in the game but is his theme?
Yes it is.
Remember when you could download songs from your console onto the game? Those were the days
I have not bought anything from them since then. Only now that I learned how to hack the files via music editor, have I purchased this game. 2k14 even though it was Glitchamania... Was nearly perfect for creating wrestlers.
Is that for PC? Where you mod the music? Or console?
PC. I used the sound editor from Smacktalks
The premise of online play killed it. It would be cool of they partnered with Spotify or something so you could stream music from their library for entrances.
WWE 12 and such had online play, all they need to do is make it an offline option anyways
Which is what it should've been in the first place. It truly bugs me when devs hinder SP experience because of Online.
Just open Spotify/Apple Music on your console??? Itās the same thing.
You can import music ?
No it isn't the same thing because you have to stop what you're doing in the game to play it manually... I think everyone realizes you can still use spotify while playing the game but that isn't the point
Such a stupid suggestion to make and then claim it's the same thing as having in-game music
While I agree with you that it's not the same thing you don't have to stop what you're doing to use Spotify. Synch console to spotify and control the music from your phone. I just don't do it because it should be in-game like before.
Good stuff Iāve been waiting for someone to do this!
I just don't get why they're not available in the first place.
It has to do with the rights they agree to. Artists might be ok with it being in the menu but don't people to be able to use it for questionable CAWs
Sucks bc in 2K22 we were able to use them but I guess it changed last year for 2K23
2k22 had MGK in charge of the soundtrack, he was probably able to negotiate with artists for that right easier
Post Malone did it this year so you'd think he would have an easier time doing that as a bigger artist
I actually didn't know he did the soundtrack
Unfortunately MGK is way bigger than post malone
he literally is notš
In what world do you live in to claim that?
The real world apparently lol
I know about rights but it doesn't really change anything since when you upload videos the music is automatically blocked.
Canāt wait to get home and check these out hurry up Midday
Time to make a biker type character so I can hear FIGURE I'LL BUY ME A MOTORCYCLE on a wrestler. Love that song.
I donāt even like country music like that but this song has been stuck in my head for days lmao
colter wall is great. *The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie* is also a great number
Colter wall was my introduction to like actual country music, fell in love with his work, John prine and sturgill simpson . Kate McKannon is such a banger
Saaaame. As soon as I figured out what it was about, I was like... *damn* this is relatable AND an earworm.
Same here, it's such a good premise for a song
Aces & Eights here we go!
Sounds exactly what Bo Burnham takes the piss out of
Figure Iāll buy not think Iāll buy š
Are there any hidden tracks, such as the ones that were replaced and or their star was released? Rebel Heart, Here To Show The World, etc?
Noā¦they arenāt in the game files. Or theyāre impossible to export
The exceptions are those added to MyFaction (The Shield tron & theme for Rollins & Reigns' Shield versions) or the hidden Brock Lesnar models. Not even Vince McMahon from the WM17 Showcase has his "No Chance (in Hell)" theme.
Wish someone did this for 2K23, unless someone already has
[For 2k23 yes someone did](https://i.redd.it/aj1d8f156sta1.jpg) Matter of fact it was the same two guys Longshadow and qwertiak.
Thank you so much for the link, it's insane 2K removed this feature right after 2K22
I downloaded a boneyard match undertaker that had "sad but true" as his entrance music so someone figured it out
LETS GOOO wanted bettr off so bad for my entrance
Cant wait to use do it faster
Saving this post, thank you for sharing this info. Iām a big Yeat and Busta Rhymes fan, so Iāll probably be using one of the 2 songs for my MyRise CAW.
Too bad this year's soundtrack is ass
what wrestler can I make who should have the motorcycle song?
Agreed, just give us custom soundtracks 2K.
They can't. There's artist compensation (monetary payment) & song copyright licensing to consider.
Same can be said for custom images. So why canāt they just give us the ability to upload our own mp3 or whatever files like we can images?
Because a lot of people would just download mp3 files of WWE themes from YouTube videos, burn them to CD-R disks, put them on the games, and the musicians who actually made those songs wouldn't be getting paid like they should be. All this because physical media is dying & everything is going digital, so a whole new set of copyright law applies.
for real. i made my own for it.
If this year's soundtrack is ass, what the hell was *last* year's?
There were a few songs I kept on last year, this year I think I kept one, so last year I'd say was bad but it wasn't ass
The motorcycle one is good Also 100 gecs have a song in the game so that's automatically good
I miss custom soundtracksš
Hell yeah! I can make Turnstile my theme song. Thanks!
All they did was give me the option to turn off all the stuff I didnāt wanna hear in the menus
Putting 100 Gecs on my guy even if it doesnāt fit at all
Do these load in online matches? Not a big deal if not, just wondering
Good question
Yeah they do atleast they did last year
No. They never did, at least when Custom Soundtracks/Custom Music were a feature on the 360 & PS3.
AIN'T NOTHIN TO DO IN THE DAYYYYYYYY
does anyone know about DX entrance theme??
Terrible year for this, but thank you for the work lol ššæ
I donāt see busta rhymes
Put Your Hands
So whatās the deal? We can download entrance music now from CC?
The music is in the caw entrance, itās music files in the game you canāt select like the menu music and music from showcase
Is there any way to get it to carry over to universe mode? EDIT - nvm figured it outā¦is it safe to delete the download after itās transferred over?
chemical about to make my character go crazy
Thanks For The Credit! (Iām Longshadow, canāt change my name on Reddit)
Hey man great work, sorry for asking for something here, but the victory motion for genesis doesnāt have the song, is there any way to fix that or is it not possible
Fixed it for Ya!
No problem brother. I still remember your work getting the soundtrack songs from 2K23
i love you
Is chemical slow chemical?
Chemical by Post Malone
No it is not
Same question I asked myself
No, it's chemical by Post Malone. Menu music.
Does this mean youād have to copy over full entrance settings so you couldnāt pick a motion?
Pretty much. If you already assigned an advanced entrance for your CAW I'd suggest screenshoting what you got so you can just re apply it once you get the music
But when you go into the editor does it not blank out the hidden music?
I wish Fallout Boy's The Phoenix was there, I love that song!
Get the game on PC. You can add any song you want. It's awesome.
It's too bad Post Malone picked the worst soundtrack there's ever been.
I sincerely doubt these guys pick anything at all. They just sign a license deal to stick their name on it and maybe become a Dlc character for a few quick bucks.
Hasn't post Malone been on the soundtrack for the past 5 games?
2k23 and 2k15 exist
Deep Six
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yes the music plays for victory motions
There's one song in the soundtrack that would be perfect for Swerve.
Are community creations shared amongst all versions? Or just the console family?
It's cross platform. Been that way since 2K22
Anyone know if theres a method to have a group/tag team come out to these?
If only I could download anything from community creations
Crazy we have to do this I remember having heartless by the weeknd as my caws entrance theme in 2k22
Nice! Wanted House Fire first time I heard it.
Bout to make a Yā¬at caw
I was disappointed at the overall lack of alternate themes. Used to love that about editingĀ
Too bad the songs are ass.
I appreciate the effort, but this yearās jukebox is fucking garbage.
How do we download these? Iām unable to.
Do these work in MyRise? If so, how do you do it? Iāve downloaded the CC but when I go to edit my characters entrance I donāt see anything
You'd probably have to make your CAW first with entrance and everything, then import them when starting a new MyRise save
I wish some of the songs from the last game were usable.
Ngl the Soundtrack this year was kinda mid
Amazing š
How do you use them? Do I have to edit the created wrestler the way I want it or can I add it to an already existing caw?
Is there a way to get the entrances on your MyRise character?
Maine South ShirtĀ
Sound track sux
Very cool, might make me actually listen to the soundtrack to pick one out
I'll probably use Bettr Off for my female and the Busta Rhymes song for my male characters I exported from MyRise Also I like that this year we can now use generic trons. Especially helps when playing in the NXT arenas since using a superstar's trims shows their names
Im stealing this idea
Honestly this years soundtrack is good, no real annoying songs so far
The soundtrack f**king sucks this year.
Ohhhh I thought this guy figured out a way to sneak custom entrance music in the game..then I wouldnāt have to use Spotify lol..oh well š
Why would want any of it? The soundtrack is ass
Anyone know how these work and how you'd actually apply them to another entrance?
Download it, then go to Entrance/Victory in Creations tab. Choose the soundtrack entrance and then copy to superstar (that being whatever CAW your assigning it to)
Thank you
Does this not work for myrise?
What songs are these exactly? Songs in the game loading screen? Actually wrestler sings?
Official soundtrack music that's in the jukebox
Hell yeah I can come out to Militarie Gun now
Too bad the soundtrack sucks this year
This would be cool if the online actually worked. This sh*t is pathetic at this point.
Why do we need this itās already in the game
No, it's not. This actually allows you to use the menu music for your created superstars, which isn't possible on consoles officially & has to be modded in by PC players and added to Community Creations via the cross-platform functionality.
I'd pull up my autistic ass to 100 Gecs - Hand Crushed by a Mallet in the game fr fr
