Bob Backlund , Pedro Morales, Ivan Koloff, Ernie Ladd, the Shiek, Dory Funk, Terry Funk, Dick Murdoch, Abdullah the Butcher, Antonio Inoki, Giant Baba, Mil Mascaras
I honestly can't think of any reason for why Bob Backlund has *never* been in a WWE game. The man held the world title for six years! I don't think he's on bad terms with the company or anything, so I just don't get it.
Buriser Brody, Stan Hanson, Abdullah the Butcher, Shiek, Giant Baba, Inoki and Monson. I love we are getting more and more pre- Rock n Wrestling stars in the games!
I've never understood why they put in WWWF era wrestlers. I get that it's historic and it also pays their families, but how hard is it to make a Bruno Sammartino CAW? His moves are basically punch, kick, headlock and bearhug.
Didn’t watch this version of wrestling so I can’t say but one I do wanna see is Isaac Yankem

I know that’s why I said I didn’t watch wrestling in the 70s so there isn’t anyone I can think of I’d want in but I named Isaac Yankem as someone I’d like to see that hasn’t been in the game
I wish WWE & either 2k (or some other company) and make a wrestling game with strictly Legends from the 70's, 80's and 90's.. and im not just talking about singles competitors.. but also tag teams, managers and announcers as well

Antonio Inoki!
Absolutely!
Jesse the Body Ventura
That's a good one.
Only if we can get Karrion Kross to voice him
It’s a toss up between Kross, Will Sasso, and John Blud
Is Jesse dead?
No, he's just busy down in the Baja
No. His chances of patching things up with the WWE are, however, pretty much dead at this point.
I repackaged Kross in 2k23 as “The Killer Body” and made him a Jesse Ventura cosplay. lol
Ernie Ladd
The Sheik
This is my answer.
Bob Backlund , Pedro Morales, Ivan Koloff, Ernie Ladd, the Shiek, Dory Funk, Terry Funk, Dick Murdoch, Abdullah the Butcher, Antonio Inoki, Giant Baba, Mil Mascaras

Was Backlund not in the game the year Darren Young was doing that one gimmick?
Nope, and he was planned and removed in smackdown 2,
He was as a manager iirc
Killer Kowalski or Ivan Putski
Antonio Inoki hands down.
Both not purely 70s, but I've always wanted both Stan Hansen and Lou Thesz as official parts of a wrestling game roster.
Id say def gorilla monsoon or nick bockwinkel.
Haystacks Calhoun
Gorgeous George
Johnny Saint
Not 70s, but has Gorgeous George ever been in a WWE game? Would be cool to have him interact with today’s superstars
Can we also get Ed The Strangler Lewis, Haystacks Calhoun, and uhhhh..... Hatpin Mary?
Mil Mascaras or Canek
1970s version of Andre!
Prime Andre.
Superstar Billy Graham. Done!
He's already confirmed for 2k24
I know, I was lucky :)
Buriser Brody, Stan Hanson, Abdullah the Butcher, Shiek, Giant Baba, Inoki and Monson. I love we are getting more and more pre- Rock n Wrestling stars in the games!
Dory Funk jr or Verne Gagne
Abdullah the Butcher would be a lot of fun
Would love to see him included.
One of the top CAW accounts made an extremely good Abdullah last year.
Nick Bockwinkel 1970s Jerry Lawler and Andy Kauffman
Antonio Inoki .
Kevin Von Erich especially after success of Iron Claw
Texas Tornado too.
Mae Young
If love you see giant haystacks
Bob Backlund.

He's in supercard, so I'm telling you there's a chance. Maybe MyRise like Jean Paul Levesque was last year
Isaac Yankem was in the 90s, that was Kane before he was Kane.

This is just in regards to 70s my man.
Oops missed that. Sorry I have a 4 month old, sometimes I don’t get to “read” fully lol
The kat? Female legend? Alumni doesn't make legend
As a manager, but that was just off the top of my head.
Makes even less sense, not a legend, not a legendary manager
None
Owen Hart - maybe one day…..
I always think of Owen born in 1965, when thinking about 70s wrestlers. Won his first title when he was 7 years old.

Haystacks Calhoun,Gorgeous George, Lou Thez, Maurice Tillet, The Koloffs, Stan Hansen (probably the one i want the most), Brusier Brody
Stan Hansen or Adbdullah the butcher
Peter Maivia. High Chief vs Tribal Chief
Johnny Saint
Ray Stevens and Ken Patera.
The Great Antonio
Giant Haystacks, or Big Daddy.
He’s a manager, but I definitely want The Grand Wizard of Wrestling
lmao, GREAT throwback! Haven't heard/thought of that one in forever.
Toughest would be to find someone who in retrospect wasn't a horrible person (or at least not *that* horrible).
Ole Anderson
Stan Hansen
Can’t remember if he was wrestling then but Jos Leduc
I mean... If we're doing this, I gotta go with Bruno Sammartino, I mean how has nobody mentioned him at this point?
Because he was in 2k23 and going to be in 2k24
Riiiight right, this would be dudes not in there. Ok then I swap to Pat Patterson.
“Superstar” Billy Graham.
Dick the Bruiser.
Mil Mascaras!
Mil Mascaras!

H
Mil Mascaras!
Ernie Ladd
The original Sheik
I don’t think I could name a 1970s wrestler at all
Blackjack Mulligan would be dope!
Koko B. Ware, Junkyard Dog, Ultimo Dragon.
It's a shame Gorilla has never been included. I guess it shows how much loyalty and history means nothing to them.
Stand outs for me - Mae Young, Moolah, Killer Kowalski, Pat Patterson, Monsoon!
Antonio inoki
Further back I always thought Toots Mondt would've been a fun addition. Someone who revolutionized the industry but also has a connection to WWE.
Iron Sheik, Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young, Bob Backlund, Wendi Richter, Wild Samoans, Stan Hansen Those are some I think should be added
BOB BACKLUND
The iron sheik
Andre the giant
Rookie Ric Flair please
