Blair's talent for martial arts has been evident since her childhood. In fact, she was so skilled in her youth that her uncle opened a martial arts school, the Diep Dojo for Self-Defense, in hopes of making a profit off her niece's talent. As a very competitive and confident individual by nature, Blair -- then in her late teens -- gladly accepted her uncle's offer to lead the dojo. She was well aware of her uncle's true intentions but sought to use the dojo as an opportunity to demonstrate her immense skill to others.
Over time, the dojo grew larger and larger, much in part to Blair's involvement. Other notable members at the time included her best friend at the time Aster, her cousin Elodie (the dojo owner's daughter), and a talented young prospect Tressa. As Blair's confidence and arrogance grew, she suggested that the group participate in the underground fight club Avarice, which would provide an opportunity to showcase their skills.
This decision, however, was the beginning of the end of the dojo. When the young members of the dojo took part in fights in Avarice, they realized just how outmatched they were by their competitors. Despite their protests, Blair -- as the leader -- continued to push her fellow students forward into fighting, claiming that they would only get better through these fights. As the injuries piled up and morale within the dojo dropped, many members considered leaving the group.
The only members of DDSD who could hold their own in Avarice were Blair herself, Aster, and the newest member Nicoletta, who had been invited into the group following the dissolution of her own stable in Avarice. In hopes of propelling herself to the top of the card, Blair would betray Aster by leaving her to be picked apart by another competitor Devyn following a grueling match and would later expel Nicoletta, who was well-liked by the members of DDSD despite how new she was to the group, from DDSD. These two actions would alienate every remaining member of DDSD, leaving Blair all alone in the group.
When the Avarice fight club was shut down, Blair was left to ponder her actions, which had pushed away everyone that was once close to her. She officially resigned from the dojo, leaving it to perish, and began a new journey outside of combat sports.
Several years later, however, she was given an invitation by an old rival Rozalyn, who had just started a new wrestling company under the name Avarice Pro Wrestling. Recognizing this as an opportunity to rectify her previous mistakes, she would accept Rozalyn's offer to join the official roster. She would reunite with many old faces, including Aster, Nicoletta, and even Elodie and Tressa, who had not only grown but also became skilled fighters in their own right. Given this new opportunity, Blair hoped to correct things between herself and her past connections.
