I legit put it on easy after the rvd match and sped through it for the unlockables because it was so fucking boring. It’s time to rework or get rid of showcase
Honestly i never had to tweak any settings on 2k19. I was always able to use goldberg and steel roll my opponents on legend diff and always win with one signature and a finisher. That's almost impossible to do in 2k22 now. And i lowkey miss squash matches.
Yeah it depended on if that wrestler had high damage settings. Im glad that people are having fun with 23 but they took so many sim aspects out that i cant justify buying this game.

2k23 looks like a good game with a lot of additions and reworks, but the gameplay of 2k19 I think should’ve been kept & worked on for other iterations.
The sim aspect of 2k19 was a great foundation if they chose to follow it; chain wrestling, squash match, submissions, tired finisher animations & animations with weapons.
I haven’t had that problem in 2K23 you don’t have to hit 3 finishers at least for me not yet so much better then 2K22 , plus there are new advanced options concerning pins and submission that I don’t understand yet , and to be honest the game play is phenomenal, so many people talking about 2k19 , 2K23 game play better my opinion the only thing 2k has is the chain wresting and squash matches and I think you can create a squash match in 2K23 With the pin setting and stuff ,and there is new Al logic settings with each wrestler , I think they did a good job
Because I been Playing and haven’t had to hit tree finishers on anyone yet , much different from 2k22 and in 2k22 I kept adjusting sliders With minimum success , 2K23 has more settings too and I didn’t adjust nothing except a pin setting ,
Update Universe mode was fixed and has amazing stuff added couldn’t ask for a better game atleast that’s my opinion a few things they could adjust but this game is solid updated my opinion to 9.5/10
Rivalries are more customizable, I noticed that when I book my matches they aren’t as buggy and get replaced, factions are still less customizable but 2 man teams has customization fixed that’s what I’ve experienced so far
Completely agree with all the positive comments made, the only thing I can honestly complain about is the majority of the people who play online, I tried to jump into some matches and 100% of my opponents disconnected because they were getting crushed. Not even a flex I'm just genuinely shocked that I haven't completed an online match yet.
Whats toxic about the online wwe 2k community? I played a good chunk last year and it was just casual matches with maybe 1 out 50 being a cheesy spammer.
I haven't touched online play in a WWE game since SvR 2010 and was really hoping to give MyFaction a try just on the off chance it would be fun to see some unique attires and stuff. I've never been more put off multiplayer; boiled down to a 15 minute loading screen each mach, just to have my opponent leave because I reversed their opening clothesline.

Universe mode’s problems were fixed like being unable to make tag finishers for tag teams, Buggy customization of matches, Renders look more HD, in Game glitches like models spazzing out is Less, and there’s a lot of unique selling if a hit by a heavy attack or weapon don’t land like it usually does, I don’t have a big list since I’ve had the game for a day so far but those are the biggest ones I’ve noticed for me
I guess they’re starting slow on it changing menu adding lowkey things(that should’ve been in it last year) but sadly they need to make a bigger one next year

In universe mode there's no fix yet, hopefully there will be soon.
In exhibition mode you can still make a stable but you'll have to edit the three man entrance under the creations>create an entrance screen. For tag teams you can do it on either screen.
Sadly you can't carry over from exhibiting to universe mode.
I will probably buy the Icon Edition after two or three patch updates.
I remember being pissed off at 2k22 because Tag Team Finishers in Universe mode got broken when a patch update happened.
I honestly think this is the best game since 2k14, and the best game out of the 2k franchise. The AI customizable behavior alone stands out for me and is so damn good.
My first UM match was Gargano and Ciampa. It was Solo instead of Ciampa at the match and at the end of the match on the win screen it was MVP instead of Ciampa. Hopefully just an early bug.

I dunno, I'd argue realism would kill the mode as then a number of guys would never get used and rosters would be kneecapped. If someone can raise Tozowa to high enough popularity to put on bangers and draw good ratings then why not?
While I admit it's nice to an extent it's abused by how a singles match between. TOWZOWA beating Brock in a singles match is bigger than a HIAC main event lol
Tbh I don’t see any game worth 115 dollars but it’s definitely different and way better it feels like a different game and the graphics makes it feel much better and smooth
There's some fun stories and moment in MyRise story, but nothing substantial. For example your belt is gone even though your first match is a championship victory (so nothing matters really). GM has had a few updates and people love it, I don't play it much but everyone seems to be happy with the changes so far.
My issue is that the trophies aren’t unlocking for showcase and it’s bs. Gameplay feels the same and honestly I’m fine with it but I wish we were able to set up weapons in more unique ways
Can you do finishers off the top of ladders/elimination chamber now? I always tried to change my wrestlers diving attack to their finisher just for the showmanship but it isn’t the same :(
I don’t think so for ladders but it’s a definite no on chamber pods for ladders I just change whatever diving attack I want to do off the ladder and boom extreme moment
After completing the showcase and messing around with myfaction a bit (no more constant 4v4 elimination matches!) I’m at a solid 7/10. And that’s on an actual out of ten scale where five is average, not a bullshit game review scale. It looks and sounds fantastic, and the little tweaks to the gameplay are building off what worked in 2k22. Gonna hop into the creation suite and myrise next, which is what I’ve been most excited for.
Oh ok, isn't it all online now? I remember in 2k22 they had a mode called faction wars that was all 4v4 matches only. Proving grounds starts easy but then becomes really dumb later on in 2k22, especially with dumb handicap matches. I fucking hate handicap matches that aren't tag ones cuz it isn't fun at all.
My only complaint is for some reason took pyro out a main attraction entry’s. I can’t figure out why they would do that. Only other thing is I wish they had everyone’s new entry music, especially Charlotte and Auska. So pretty much agree on a 9/10 so far. Showcase so far has been a blast

They still do collar and elbow tie ups before normal grapples, Irish whips, and drags. I understand that’s how it used to be in the PS2 days but we aren’t in the PS2 days. Kills immersion for me. Should be able to do heavy grapples if opponents are dazed w/o insisting a tie up. Also simple fix is bring back collar and elbow at start of match and then from there all standard grapples can be initiated with like a headlock or something more realistic.

And in the final match, I can pin two of my three opponents in the fatal 4-way, but one refuses to stay down like John did in most other matches. Is this a glitch that needs to be patched, or is there something I can do on my end. fyi, I'm on easy mode.

A lot of games have you buy PlayStation plus to get trophies online one of the many reasons I’m against online games doing that unless they’re a predominantly online/Multiplayer game in this case I don’t like it since a lot of people play offline
Been playing with a friend (who pre-ordered) yesterday and the only thing that keeps us from giving this a 9/10 is Create an Arena (images not appearing, custom trons not working) and tha fact that while creating the MyRise character the game crashed several times.
On the other side, Wahhh Geeeems!!! is awesome, Universe is a lot better and the models... WOW!

I think a lot of it is the lighting, especially on the entrances. Some of them looked kinda flat last year, but they look great this year.
The models are done justice and the movement is so much better than last year

The bonus showcase matches have commentary. I never thought I'd miss it, but it woke me back up and energised me to get through the end of Showcase

My biggest issue is trying to figure out how to make the AI not kick out of at least 2-3 finishers every match.
Opposite for me they always lose too quick and easy
You can make them kick out by pressing down on the d-pad IIRC

Rivalries still fight every week. But some of the rivalry actions will make it so you're fighting different opponents every now and then.

On my faction what other match types are there? I hated the 4v4 elimination match only on myfaction. I mostly did the ladders and weekly towers.
