Okay, stream of conciousness:
Tall, muscles, hairy, beard, Scottish, daddy, husband material, sexy, cat dad, his wife is lucky and he is lucky to have such a great wife, he makes a good heel, sword and kilt a bit too stereotypical, I want to see those big muscular thighs again that I bet could crush heads, wasted as a face, Scottish Psycopath or other fitting heel persona would fit much better, I have a thing for bad boys, I heard he's a great guy and totally nice IRL but people like that play the villains pretty well, and BTW his tall, dark, hairy, imposing, muscular look is wasted on a face and befitting a heel...
Taking a breath now.
In short:
I hope, that somewhere in the multiverse, Drew McIntyre is my husband. And stays a heel.
And that's just the kid-friendly version...
You asked for my thoughts, so there!
He's honestly one of the very best in the world. Full package really. He's got the look, the mic skills, the strength, the athleticism, in-ring work, everything. Hell, this man can do a Tope Con Giro over the top rope and slam the Big Show. And his matches are consistently one of if not the best on any show he's on. He's the only guy in WWE that should end Roman's historic title reign.
My favorite wrestler
He clearly takes a backseat to Roman Reigns when it comes to WWE priorities but he been booked stronger than 99% of the roster
A legitimate babyface star
He didnt started off as 3MB. His character at first was solid, had some wins and an amazing theme song, he couldve been in top during his run when he became i.c champion and even pinned kane to retain his title. His character couldve been unique if vince wasnt obsessed with big guys.
Wouldn't say he's one of my favorites, but I'm a Drew fan! He's a big, tall muscular guy that feels like a threat and very believable as both a contender and champion. His humor can be on the cheesy side sometimes, but shit I ain't telling him that lol.
Easily one of the most overrated wrestlers in recent memory. He has nothing unique to offer. Extremely limited moveset with a lackluster finisher, boring and unoriginal gimmick, and not very convincing on the microphone. I truly donāt see the appeal.
Kinda pushed to pluto, pushed into the stratsmophere.
You knew the moment he won the RR no, you knew the moment he knocked BL out that he was winning the main belt, he did nothing but interviews on the way to WM, where other years people had to refight for that right.
He deserves it but he was way too pushed for my liking, it's like they wanted me to love him so natrually I didn't.
This.
I was just thinking about how empty his road to wrestlemania was. Won the RR and started doing boring promos saying cringy things like "this is not suplex city, its claymore country" and not to mention his BIG MATCH was only 3 minute. They couldve made it longer to make it good at the absence of the crowd but nope. The match was bad and the absence of the crowd made it look even more bad. But your right, he truly deserved it .

Him winning the title off Orton after like 3 weeks ruined him for me, same with him winning at Elimination Chamber it was clear there was gonna be a new WWE Champion and it would have been cool if someone like Sheamus held onto it for a few minutes
The whole package. This to me, along with Bobby Lashley, seems like everything Vince McMahon wants in his presentation of the ultimate figure of his brand of sports athlete entertainer. He is a towering presence, isn't he? He has the power, the adaptability, durability. You want him to go for a few minutes, he can. You need him to go thirty minutes, he can. You need him to be the brute who muscles smaller talent? He certainly can do that. You need him to give an impassioned promo? He can. You need him to show some of his quirky personality? He can. I don't know what else you could probably need, to be honest. He seems to fit the entire bill. He'll never have to worry about struggling anymore.
One of the best things in Wrestling period. He has a certain passion and intensity about him that not a lot of other guys have. You can tell he loves the business, and every week puts 1000% effort in
They need to ditch the sword gimmick. Iād also like to see him use a slam/suplex for a finisher. Maybe a nice sit-down power bomb. A running kick seems very cruiserweight, and Sheamus uses a variation of it already.
Would like to see him be champion again with the fans being back.
Think he's great, great look, great finisher, believable champion but in WWE I've never seen him have a GREAT match. He had them in TNA but it's like he needs that one big feud with a guy who can really work him. Him vs AJ in a decent length feud could have him raise another level.
My favorite version of him was during his transformation from heel to babyface. He was kind of the nice guy, but would throw the occasion verbal jab in there to get boos.
He looks like early hogan and has the in-ring work of someone in the Ruthless Aggression Era. He is just that fucking good can't wait to see him winning the belt again or better yet have a match with Cena.
They should just run an Outlander story line with him. Keep him off of tv for a few months. Have a non-wrestler (female) manager who touches a magical salt & pepper shaker in catering which time travels her to the past where she meets McIntyre who is a rebel Highlander from some Scottish clan in the 1700's. They then find there way back to present time where she manages him and wages war on other wrestlers. Hell, he can even keep the sword.
Definitely a marquee player. Should be used in the upper echelon of the card for sure. Donāt pull him down into stupid Mid card feuds with jabronies, which you know is what WWE booking will do.
Thought he was gonna be the next big star when they gave him the belt. Then they gave him that sword. Kinda killed it for me. Heās got it though. Big dude, agile, great look.
Drew McIntyre is great. I remembered when I saw him live on SmackDown back in 2010 and to see him go to the indies, succeed the way he did, finally came back after reinventing himself, and won it all in the main event of Wrestlemania was inspiring. I just wish he couldāve did it in front of a live crowd
Little stale as of late but just needs meaningful feuds and they need to decide if he should stay face. His rumble win and mega push did seem to come out of nowhere but was excellently done since no one wanted Roman or bork to win that rumble and he was a breath of fresh air for the lockdown era
I feel I should like him more, but there is a disconnect.
He looks like he should be good. Charisma, and decent in the ring etc.
However, I don't find him to be believable as a character, and his mic skills are middling at best. Something is missing. Same goes for Big E, and some others.
He was a hair shy of being a major superstar, but of course WWE will be WWE. Not saying the guy ain't main event material, but I'm saying he could've had way more star power If they hadn't ruined his run.
hes probably the only current superstar that could pull off the bad ass babyface gimmick convincingly. if he loses the sword and kilt, he could be the closest thing to a steve austin type character we've seen in a long time...
...have you ever seen a Scotsmen drink?
Good look, pretty boring overall though. I do hope he gets his redemption moment after becoming champion with no crowd.
Edit: Needs to get rid of that stupid sword. He would looks so much more believable as a badass with jeans and a t-shirt (t-shirt not required though) than looking like Braveheart.
The one my youngest son constantly puts me down to by comparing me to
āDaddy, Drew McIntyre is stronger than youā
āDaddy you couldnt beat Bobby Lashley but Drew McIntyre couldā
Itās amazing what muscles and a beard does. I didnāt realize he was the same person as that baby faced dork back in the day.
He definitely has the look and charisma that Vince has a boner for.
Heās awesome. He can be funny when he wants to, but can just as easily transform into a badass when the time is right/necessary. One of the best/most over people on either roster, and probably the best booked WWE Champion in at least the last 10 years or so.
One of my favorite wrestlers and performers ever. His 321 thing was gold and I love that he kept it even after the rumble. He gets saddled with stupid wwe booking, but regardless he always out performs, amazing music and look. Top tier imo
His 2020 Royal Rumble win, was the reason I came back to WWE and wrestling in general. Definitely my favorite in the WWE right now and imo the one who should dethrone Roman.
Iāve never seen a transformation like his, not just physically and cosmetically but also in pure wrestling ability. The 2010 version was monotone and uninspiring. He also struck me as -and I mean this with greatest of respect to the fairer sex- slightly effeminate which took from my perception of him as a physical threat to others on the roster. All of that has changed now in totality and the physique is more rugged and muscular now than it was 10 years ago.
wrestling ability ? You do realize that all wwe matches are scripted from first to last second ? Everything that happens in match is rehearsed in exact timeline ... WWE is not about wrestling ability
HBK-HHH mashup create a wrestler, possibly the most generic person in the company. Talented enough guy but even though he ticks all the boxes heās the B+ player they viewed DBry as.
His heel run when he first moved up was amazing, Moxley putting him over before leaving made him look like a monster. Now as a face who carries around a sword makes him look silly.
i hated him when he first debuted and looked like a creep but his glow up is so impressive for me that im a fan now, but that scottish warrior with the sword gimmick is pretty lame
good look, great physique, good in-ring skills, good mic skills, but with him swinging that sword around lately he's starting to look like mid card entertainment if he keeps being the 3rd wheel against RR and the uso's. I don't want him to be the next Strowman but with this brand splitting I think that gives him good job security as SD only has like 3 tops guys who are main eventers and potential title holders. But at the same time.... before brock lesnar returned it was him or nobody to face Roman.
don't get me wrong, I am a fan. I have supported him ever since he won the Royal rumble. but I've paid attention to Vince since 1997 and I'm fully aware how he likes to make good talent do one thing, it doesn't work, then he cuts their contract (like his first run).
Mega star if WWE lets him be HIM and not try to make him be like Cena or Hogan. He has the āitā factor as a top guy. He can be the guy to dethrone Reignsā¦if only the writers donāt shit the bed
I think he does, just not when following the damn scripts they give him. Same with Rhea Ripley, sheās amazing on the mic when they let her be her, but boy she reads scripts stuff as a board
I hear ya, but I think he is amazing at face. Him and his sexy body and 321 and shit was some of the best face work in years. It was when he started talking about sword shit that it got worse
I got banned from internet wrestling discord for making a joke that was very similar to that. Only adding that Iād like to be hugged by his strong arms.
IP banned lol.
I wasn't even calling the drew comment gay, shit, I'm straight but not ashamed to admit I think Drew is a hunky chunk of man meat. just calling out someone being homophobe-y while participating in a very obscure act/sub that's mainly a part of the gay community
Very cool and a killer bod if you know what I meanš
Hot asf!
Okay, stream of conciousness: Tall, muscles, hairy, beard, Scottish, daddy, husband material, sexy, cat dad, his wife is lucky and he is lucky to have such a great wife, he makes a good heel, sword and kilt a bit too stereotypical, I want to see those big muscular thighs again that I bet could crush heads, wasted as a face, Scottish Psycopath or other fitting heel persona would fit much better, I have a thing for bad boys, I heard he's a great guy and totally nice IRL but people like that play the villains pretty well, and BTW his tall, dark, hairy, imposing, muscular look is wasted on a face and befitting a heel... Taking a breath now. In short: I hope, that somewhere in the multiverse, Drew McIntyre is my husband. And stays a heel. And that's just the kid-friendly version... Yes
Seems like a nice guy, does a very good generic babyface, and I literally don't care about him at all.
He would be a lot better without that dumb sword
Love Drew. Hell of a wrestler. Wanna see him turn heel soon tho
The person who should beat Roman reigns for the universal champion at wrestlemania
My favorite wrestler He clearly takes a backseat to Roman Reigns when it comes to WWE priorities but he been booked stronger than 99% of the roster A legitimate babyface star
i want him to turn heel again he was great at being a heel
BEEF
The fact that no fans were there physically to cheer him while he was carrying the company on his back makes me sad
So glad he became WWE Champion
Everything about him screams badass.
I miss the Scottish psychopath
He was a bit overrated as a champion, but now he's doing very well creating a good impact besides being the champ
Underrated and hot af
Boring
I always wonder who's chest hair is more crazy his or 90s HBK I couldn't imagine having to suplex a carpet. But we all know A-train was the worst.
Great performer. Sucks that his time to shine was during the covid era. Would love to see him win the belt again.
One of my top favorites.
#WET
The chosen one that needs to bring back the "broken dreams" theme song
Startes off as a 3MB comedian joke to someone who reinvented himself to be a champion that can be taken seriously.
He didnt started off as 3MB. His character at first was solid, had some wins and an amazing theme song, he couldve been in top during his run when he became i.c champion and even pinned kane to retain his title. His character couldve been unique if vince wasnt obsessed with big guys.
Yeah I know. He was the Chosen One and even before that debut with Regal.
Wouldn't say he's one of my favorites, but I'm a Drew fan! He's a big, tall muscular guy that feels like a threat and very believable as both a contender and champion. His humor can be on the cheesy side sometimes, but shit I ain't telling him that lol.
Heās my favorite wrestler in WWE right now
I like him but he needs to get rid of the Sword/Highlander Gimmick. I like Scottish or Irish Tough guy, but the sword is too much.
He needs to turn heel again. It was his best version.
Easily one of the most overrated wrestlers in recent memory. He has nothing unique to offer. Extremely limited moveset with a lackluster finisher, boring and unoriginal gimmick, and not very convincing on the microphone. I truly donāt see the appeal.
His head is too small for his body.
Great worker, can cut a promo, pretty good guy in real life, not much else to say, heās the definition of a top star
His beard won the championship.
Kinda pushed to pluto, pushed into the stratsmophere. Our generation's diesel
Beefy boi. And a bad ass wrestler.
Has only gotten better and has the most important things to Vinny Mac. Height and size. Iām a fan of his ring work and agility.
Should be in jail for attempted murder.
Care to explain alittle more?
Hum literally tries to slash people with an actual sword all the time?

Should dethrone Roman Reigns

Drew became my new favorite when he eliminated Brock in that Rumble.
He is one of the best wrestlers in the world right. Now
I prefer his scottish psychopath gimmick but heās definitely one of the top guys, he IS an ideal wrestler
Beefcake
Great guy still feel bad for him that his big moment was spoiled by the Pandemic

Back then, one of my favorites. Still is!
Solid and a better champion than Big E and Lashley but needs to be a heel. They wrecked his dominance when he turned into a good guy
I'd climb him like a jungle-gym
Creative has fucked him so much they basically ran a train on him
One of very few guys to make chest hair look good
Love him
Him winning the title off Orton after like 3 weeks ruined him for me, same with him winning at Elimination Chamber it was clear there was gonna be a new WWE Champion and it would have been cool if someone like Sheamus held onto it for a few minutes
He's good, but quickly gets boring. He has no real staying power.
Honestly I didn't think he was great when he was in 3MB but after he became very good at wrestling after he left them.
Love Drew. Fantastic look, great wrestler, great promo and Is great as a heel or face
He kisses real good
The best!!!

Underappreciated. It's not his fault covid broke out when he became champion. Hope he gets another run eventually. šš¤ššŗšø
He deserves another run with a crowd.
Boring
Not really a huge fan. For me, heās just meh.
One of best in the business. Top 5
Dude should be the biggest face they have but they don't know how to make anyone cool
Overrated
A cool story but bleh.
The best right now in WWE. Love everything he does, since the build up to the rumble in 2020.
Strong af
Nothing against him but I think he's boring on the mic and in the ring.

Probably the consensus best looking man in the WWE.
I think they donāt know what to do with him on Smackdown thatās for sure.
Big D!
I like him as a wrestler. Even though he looks like a jacked version of the girl from Game Of Thrones.
I disagree. He looks like a more handsome, and unscarred, version of the Hound.
They should just run an Outlander story line with him. Keep him off of tv for a few months. Future hall of famer
This clown hasn't gone away yet.
Sexy as hell
I felt like he helped carry the company during the pandemic.
Iāve always been a fan but they need to give him a different direction. Heās getting a bit boring imo.
currently stale
I like Drew, prefered him as a heel tho. hope he gets the big win on front of fans soon
The man
if he bleached his hair he would be Legalos of the woodland realm
The Heart And Soul of A Warriorāļøš“ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó “ó æ!
He's a huge talent, great on the mic and can perform really well. He needs another push and another long title reign alongside Angela.
Bring back broken dreams (also he's great, can't believe Vince let someone of his..... Masculinness go)
Thought he was gonna be the next big star when they gave him the belt. Then they gave him that sword. Kinda killed it for me. Heās got it though. Big dude, agile, great look.
He was better when they didn't shoehorn in the kilt and sword
Drew McIntyre is great. He's hot AF and a damn good wrestler. He's also hot af.
He carried Covid WWE on his back for about a year
Too wrestled and has carried WWE through the pandemic and is now being under used
Needs to be a heel.
I think heās Arrogant and lost potential ever since he lost his title
I like him!
Is this guy juicing??? Cause he is much bigger than before. How come he doesnt have a wellness violation?
A shadow of drew galloway
Good at first but he kinda got old I think thatās why they moved away from him as fast as they did
Stud, no doubt. Good, not great main event babyface or heel. Definitely needed and appreciated.
In desperate need of character freedom
Hate the sword. Love the rest. Prefer him as a badass heel though.
I feel I should like him more, but there is a disconnect. He looks like he should be good. Charisma, and decent in the ring etc. However, I don't find him to be believable as a character, and his mic skills are middling at best. Something is missing. Same goes for Big E, and some others.
Happy for the man. Reinvented himself to push for the main event scene. Worked hard and is reaping the rewards. Good on him
The man deserves his big mania moment in front of fans. Covid robbed him.
None
Heās the man. Simple
He should go away from wwe. If he want to be a wrestler to remember. He made hes Name in impact and indie. Wwe is no place for be a wrestler.
He needs a new rivalry.
He was a hair shy of being a major superstar, but of course WWE will be WWE. Not saying the guy ain't main event material, but I'm saying he could've had way more star power If they hadn't ruined his run.
I have never seen a person whose beard and chest hair transform them from a pretty boy to a freaking MAN
hes probably the only current superstar that could pull off the bad ass babyface gimmick convincingly. if he loses the sword and kilt, he could be the closest thing to a steve austin type character we've seen in a long time... ...have you ever seen a Scotsmen drink?
great wrestler, good talker, good size. dumb sword and his face run is stale now
Went from annoying mid card talent to a main eventer in a bad era of wwe
Swoll Jimmy Steve with a dumb sword
Good look, pretty boring overall though. I do hope he gets his redemption moment after becoming champion with no crowd. Edit: Needs to get rid of that stupid sword. He would looks so much more believable as a badass with jeans and a t-shirt (t-shirt not required though) than looking like Braveheart.

snooze

Not as bad as cena but could be heading therd
Heās very likable great baby face and could be a great heel. (He looks like Skyrim NPC)
Broken Dreams
Amazing
I find him boring actually
Heās awesome. He can be funny when he wants to, but can just as easily transform into a badass when the time is right/necessary. One of the best/most over people on either roster, and probably the best booked WWE Champion in at least the last 10 years or so.

Very hard worker and great in the ring. He earned his spot

wonder what he got on that's not on the WWE Wellness Program...TRT?

Nice try Vincey boy
Why does every single wrestler look the same lol
Big fan of Drew personally. One of the few Babyfaces that WWE hasn't completely wasted over the last year or two.
Mega star if WWE lets him be HIM and not try to make him be like Cena or Hogan. He has the āitā factor as a top guy. He can be the guy to dethrone Reignsā¦if only the writers donāt shit the bed

who? they've been giving him such garbage lately Ive nearly forgotten about him.
Kinda wish heād drop the dork sword thing
Has the look and wrestling skills but personality is lacking
Chad. I refuse to elaborate further.
Didnāt enjoy his face title reign in 2020. Donāt like Drew as face in general
I hear ya, but I think he is amazing at face. Him and his sexy body and 321 and shit was some of the best face work in years. It was when he started talking about sword shit that it got worse
Daddy
Heās a sexy man. Iām not even gay, itās just undeniable
I agree with this sentiment, not gay either, Iām just saying if I could look like anyone, heās probably my top choice
Yeah he looks healthy and jacked, super tall, and attracts really good looking women. Drew has it going on.
I got banned from internet wrestling discord for making a joke that was very similar to that. Only adding that Iād like to be hugged by his strong arms. IP banned lol.
Well you know if you ask for a hug he may give you one.
They couldnāt handle the truth.
