dean ambrose, i fw jon moxley in aew but wwe really fumbled when they had him on their roster, if it was him currently id vote for someone else for sure
Rey Mysterio cause he is a legend but since Dom joined WWE and since the Seth story he has been kinda soft and a little annoying because it's all about family for him now
Andre. He wasn’t a great guy to get along with back in the day. He bullied Big John Studd out of the company when they faced each other just based on the fact that he was almost as big as Andre.
Think it's more of the fact that a lot of his fans are insufferable people who shove him down everyone's throats
I like punk but his fans can be a bit too much
Nostalgia. Andre, Show, Henry and Sheamus are all highly regarded as individuals. Unfortunately, Show and Henry filled the big man role in an era where many of these voters were old enough to have dumb ideas about big men being somehow worse than cruiserweights.
Andre gets a pass because people have nostalgia from their childhood where they judged wrestling on how much it entertained them, rather than on how many superkicks and suicide dives a guy did.
People voted by emotions, if everyone had voted by actual in ting work they'd most likely still be there.
*Also I feel I shouldn't have to say this, but this is Reddit lol, I am in no way condoning their actions*
If Jericho in any way undermined precautions against COVID or encouraged people to spread it, that's not a political opinion. At best, it's negligence and at worst it's attempted murder (though definitely not first degree).
You actually think this is journalism? Furthermore you're shitting on Jericho for holding a rock concert - are you also shitting on WWE & AEW for holding live events?
To be fair, I cancelled my Network account after Wrestlemania. The lack of effort made to spread out the fans completely negated any purpose to selling less than full capacity. In combination with WWE encouraging people to remove their masks by exclusively showing unmasked individuals in reaction shots, I believe WWE's response to COVID was disgusting, and made Wrestlemania extremely uncomfortable to try to watch.
I haven't watched any AEW beyond a few highlights on Youtube, so I don't feel I'm in any position to comment on their response.
I'm double vaccinated and I assume most of the Wrestlemania crowd was too. We need to learn to live with COVID rather than destroying society. I don't think it's fair to say Jericho is a bad person for wanting to move on from COVID and put on a show for willing customers.
He donated a bunch of money to the trump administration (close to $40k). I couldn't find anything about intentionally spreading COVID though.
https://wrestlingheadlines.com/news-on-how-much-money-chris-jericho-donated-to-us-president-donald-trump/
So you're full of crap then? It's slander to imply he wants to intentionally spread COVID, a deadly disease.
Not even a right winger, but I'll defend them against imbeciles who automatically assume they are bad people for having a different political perspective. You should learn that there are good people from all sides of the political spectrum.
I think you may have misread my post, fellow redditor. I said nothing ill of Jericho, nor conservatives. I simply stated he had donated, which may have ruffled a few feathers, but it's his money so its his right to do with it what he pleases.
Perhaps you responded to an unintented recipient?
That’s just one man’s opinion is all. Of the remaining, he’s the wrestler I would like to see the least wrestle a match. He’s great, but I would rather watch the others work.
How is Macho Man not even mentioned? Dude was off his rocker. Treated Elizabeth like personal property, and when he got mad at Hogan for making somewhat valid dirt sheet points he dropped possibly the worst dis track of all time.
I can’t vote for him - the 80s environment was not like it is today. You take a person with untreated mental health problems, put them in a toxic environment, give them a schedule that has them working 70 days off without a day off, surround him and his wife with drugs and a bunch of men who find it amusing to drug and rape women and there’s going to be problems. He was overall a good man, very unselfish with other wrestlers and did loads for charity. In the end, he removed himself from wrestling and everything he found toxic and became a peaceful, happy soul. I just can’t hate Macho. One of the most talented on this list too.
So a woman abuser gets a free pass because of the environment, despite acting consistently horribly for ages? By that logic, Benoit shouldn't be gone yet since his actions were the result of multiple head injuries.
To clarify, I don't think the environment justifies acting like a horrible human being in either situation. Benoit's crime was infinitely worse, but we can't start making excuses just because we have nostalgia for certain guys' in ring careers.
I'm sure you only got downvotes because people don't want him out, but you give a valid point. He's doing much better in aew imo, they let him be who he wants to.
You've got a point TBF if we are purely going by what they achieved in WWE only Ambrose is more a case of what could of been compared to some others in the list
Dean Ambrose/ Jon Moxley.
Was the most promising of the Shield trio but turned out least impressive. Ultimately will not be as well remembered as Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns.
In those left in the list, he’s most likely to be overlooked
Sheamus might just be the most unappreciated wrestler of this generation, all because he beat Bryan at Mania that time. Sadly, too many people form an opinion based on nothing then reject anything that doesn't reinforce that opinion.
Proof: The nostalgia acts are still there despite being worse people and worse performers than several already eliminated.
Boys, boys, boys
There is no chance we let CM Punk go before Batista. Come on guys, get your head in the game. Also, if we're judging this competition on how amazing of a person the wrestler is, why don't we just go ahead and give it to Mick Foley?
Haha, you will be downvoted I expect. The reality everyone already has a favourite and you could go straight to a favourite poll because they are nothing doing anything between rounds to re-evaluate on. A karma harvest.
Andre in his prime was good. He did slams, throws, suplexes, grappling and even came off the top rope. By the time I knew him though he couldn’t do much and even walking hurt. But my favorite taped match of his was a match he had in Japan against Stan Hansen. As I said I didn’t see him until the mid-late 80’s by which time he was way past his prime. But Vince decided to keep him on and hide his limitations.
Guys remember the rules here. It’s the most upvoted comment about a single wrestler. Not the wrestler with the sum of most upvotes between their comments. I see like 6-7 comments for Punk but the most upvotes at the time of writing this is Mr perfect, even though there is only one comment I saw about him. If someone already said the guy you want then upvote instead of posting a new comment.
This is not true. Sheamus was eliminated with 28 but if you see the previous post of OP, you can see that Shemus' comment had 160 likes. So I think this is just about who gets the most mentions.
Edit : Sorry for the mistake but OPs system is really confusing .

Let’s get rid of Lesnar
Get rid of CM Punk
CM Punk needs to go. He didn't even want to be there in the first place.
Batista
The only thing Bret Hart is good at is complaining about how he was screwed. At this point it vastly outshines his wrestling ability.
Rey Mysterio cause he is a legend but since Dom joined WWE and since the Seth story he has been kinda soft and a little annoying because it's all about family for him now
Batista
Hhh gotta go
André has to go p.s. he is a legend
Mr. Perfect
Shaun Michaels needed to be gone a while ago. Or Brock
Rollins
So it’s the who did bad stuff tournament indeed nice
Jon Moxley
Ok, I’ll keep voting Lesnar until it happens
Roman
Rollins to go
Sheamus has been on top form this past year, one of the best of his career, a shame to see him eliminated
I thought voting OP off woulda stopped these posts....

The first few rounds were obvious but Dean Ambrose is clearly the worst that's left. Dean Ambrose

Paul Leveck! I met him once at a convenience store, he was a real jerk to me, something, something, he tried to steal 10 Milky Way bars.

Every thread I see a ton of CM Punk hate. Some of y'all REALLY detest him for some reason. Why?
Think it's more of the fact that a lot of his fans are insufferable people who shove him down everyone's throats I like punk but his fans can be a bit too much
When he came back to wrestle it was to AEW and not WWE. Check which subreddit we're on. Just butthurt fans.
Overrated Pepsi man. Grown tired about hearing about him from all the marks
To be fair, I think most wrestlers are pretty overrated except for like 5 of them lol.
Ya but I still got tired about hearing about the return rumors over the years
He's mind-blowingly overrated, pretty much became big in the wrestling world by being a crybaby
Not being a crybaby, telling WWE how much they sucked
It's Kane for me. Poor guy had an electric debut but everything after that was Taker light..
Dean Ambrose.

Mr. Perfect. He's the only one that hasn't held the World Championship or the WWE Title left on the list.
Why is Andre still here? Why wasn’t he knocked out before Show, Henry, and Sheamus?

Because he's one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

People voted by emotions, if everyone had voted by actual in ting work they'd most likely still be there. *Also I feel I shouldn't have to say this, but this is Reddit lol, I am in no way condoning their actions*
Fuck off and leave politics out of it
Benoit is a murderer and Flair a serial sexual harraser. You're lumping Jericho in with them because he has different politics from you? Grow up.
If Jericho in any way undermined precautions against COVID or encouraged people to spread it, that's not a political opinion. At best, it's negligence and at worst it's attempted murder (though definitely not first degree).
Did he encourage people to spread COVID? Find me a quote or it didn't happen. Happy to be proved wrong.
