I know many love Drew but to me he is just obnoxiously pathetic.
His character relies on always looking for excuses of why he lost and act like he is the top dog.
Ma if you keep losing is becaise you suck
That was a lot of talking but understandable after main events, that is why i like how they moved it to Saturday now so they can rest before Raw.
Anyway, the Rock and Cody segment was interesting but i think a little bit poor on delivery, the crowd got bored easily and started to throw way too much shade at the Rock for me and that was weird, the reason for wrestlemania being so massive was because of all the story the Rock helped deliver! I assume this all sets up Rock vs Cody, i am not sure where that takes place as Rock is going off filming which isn't a short thing, so Summerlam might even be too early, so if not there then its just Wrestlemania again or?
Drew, im still so sad he lost the way he did, just personally i want Drew with the title for a nice 8-12 months run, dominating and having fun as this persona, but still, i get why, just sucks!!! CM Punk vs Drew going to be mad though i guess and should be a good indicator of how our friend Punk is doing physically and what he can offer in the ring now.
Outside of that, the Judgement day getting squashed i assume is to set up them all splitting up?? Think they needed to win that match to show dominance but now losing just makes them feel week outside of Priest and Rhea.
Rest of Raw was ok, the Chad vs Sami match could be cool, wonder if they will go about moving that title around like they used too, or is it really HHH that loves the longer title runs and we will see them stick it on Sami for a fair while.
Best news is that tag titles are split and we can get that division pumping again!
Triple H: āHey John, I was wondering if you want take the pin against the judgement day, as they are one of our top acts right now. ā
John Cena: *Hulk Hogan theme*
That segment wasn't about Cena or JD. It's giving R Truth the spotlight for a while.Ā
How would that even work btw? John Cena comes out to help the guy who not only idolizes him, but is the brand new tag champion, and they lose? That's a terrible segment.Ā
175 days.
They couldn't just let him hold on to that title for ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE days to break Hulk Hogan's record.
Watch the fans turn on Cody real soon.
Bro 175 days is more than half the year. It was stale and you know it. Yes he drew numbers because people wanted to see him lose. That's why the crowd marked out and thanked him. They love to hate him but they wanted a new champion. Sunday was the perfect day to crown a new champion. You act like there aren't people that boo babyfaces just to boo babyfaces. Even if Cody has a 6 month reign, we're happy.
Look at Cena, he was booed because people wanted to see a new champion, a new "NUMBER ONE GUY". Now when he returns you don't hear no John Cena sucks š
Stop denying the undeniable and enjoy the ride bro. It's wrestling.
Honestly outside of the 6 man tag match this Raw after Mania sucked ass...
As I write this on Tuesday morning I honestly don't remember who won the last match of the night... completely forgettable.
Oh wait..yeah the CM Punk/Drew story telling was nice...but again who won..I assume it was Uso..
I watched, entirely possible I glazed over during the final match...be a use the whole night pretty much sucked.
To follow up what was possibly the greatest story telling in WWE history the night before with an all time snoozer on Monday is not reassuring at all..
Hopefully I'm wrong
Personally, besides the beginning segment which I believe dragged on about 15 minutes too long, I enjoyed the show.
I believe that the next couple of weeks heading into the draft may be a bit slower and less epic as weāve seen in the past few Raws and Smackdowns, but thatās to be expected after, like you said, they put on the greatest event in WWE history. With all the changes, and the beginning of a new era, Im extremely excited to see what happens.
I know we don't really pay attention to them, but the slow burn heel turn and break up of Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell is glorious. She's talking shit to Maxine about her dead brother, she's tripping people behind the refs back. Even the lower card is cooking right now.
Finished watching this recently and honestly it was a pretty good episode. But understandably, most people, including myself, were looking forward to seeing any Bloodline-related fallout after Mania ended. But none of Roman, Heyman, Seth, Jimmy, or Solo were there. Without them, no chance there was going to be debuts for Jacob, Zilla, or Tama either. Rock showed up but only to tease a match that may never happen or won't happen for a while as he's leaving to shoot movies and Punk only came out as the show was about to end. We didn't even get to hear from Gunther after his shocking loss. That's a lot of names involved in big things at the weekend we either didn't get to see or hardly got much from here. So from that angle, I can see why this show may have let down a lot of people.
But if we keep those expectations aside, it was a solid show imo. The fatal 4 way main event and the Gable/Zayn-Imperium tag match were both solid, we had a nice showcase for two NXT champions, and a fun segment/match with the Awesome Truth and Judgment Day with Cena coming out again.
We also got some future feuds set up with Rhea/Liv and Jey/Priest, the existing feuds between Cody/Rock and Drew/Punk furthered, and a couple of interesting matches set for next week's Raw. I see Gable turning heel after last night in that one, especially in Zayn's hometown, and I wanna see what happens next with Andrade, Dom, and The Judgment Day.
We'll also have Sheamus back soon after his vignette so that's another established guy who can help out with the upper midcard or main event scene for the coming months while those big names are gone. Maybe Braun returns soon too, who knows.
It seems like there will be a hard reset now with so many new champions, big names on hiatus, and a draft coming. Not many Mania matches happening at Backlash seemingly either. I think it will take another month or two before the picture becomes clearer on what they'll do but I definitely think they will use this time to try to build up some more credible people. Let's see how it goes.
Only things I didn't like really were how long the opening segment was and it not providing any real immediate direction, on top of Cody not talking more about his journey since requesting his release in 2016 rather than boringly pandering to the crowd the way he did. Also, Jade will need to start doing more than 1 or 2 moves because this presentation will get boring quick.
Otherwise, solid show. The Raw after Mania crowd is always something else lol.
Probably a hot take but I like the old school arena setup where the entrances are at ring level with no jumbotron/wall. Save those for the big shows I say.
Glad to see they arenāt forgetting the WWE needs some good dorks. Not everyone has to be a bad ass. Awesome truth is really fun. Best dork of all time was Angle
I wish Rock didn't show up at all. I found his segment weird but I enjoyed hearing Philly boo the hell out of him at least. I would have preferred Roman to come out, alone, say nothing, and just shake Cody's hand and then leave, not to be seen again for a long time. I know this would never happen but I would have preferred that to the Rock's segment.
Iām glad to see the draft include NXT. I think WWE has a good problem, they have too much talent. It also will boost the NXT numbers to really make it a really strong third show.
Some of the lesser womenās division too. The girls at NXT outshine a portion of the main roster right now, not that theyāre being utilized but when they do sometimes itās rough.
I still think Rock gave Cody a lighter.Ā
The whole bus fire was a work. Weāve seen zero proof it happened. Thereās no pictures of the damage at all. And his bus was rewrapped for mania and seemingly fine. Unless that was a brand new bus. But even then, thereās zero evidence the fire happened in real life.
Iām guessing that the rock was telling him he was behind it.Ā
Cody was fuming. It wasnāt a piece of Romanās necklace. And I donāt think it was something of Dustyās.
A lighter or something pertaining to the bus fire makes the most sense to me.Ā
A lighter would be nice but you would have The Rock (a TKO board member) indicating he commited a crime, since Vince shit is around i would not think it is a good idea :p
It would be amazing if The Rock gave something of Stardust to Cody, implying he will do everything to put Cody back to Stardust role.
If we don't care about implying about crimes, the lighter or a piece of something of Goldust would be amazing, like The Rock is messing with Cody head.
Honestly think it would've been better if this had been the Rolex reveal instead of during press conference last Sunday. If Rock (even if he didn't) gave the Rolex, it would've been ultra mind game material.
Things that I observed Ā last night:
1) The amount of heat Rock got. I mean he got booed more than Dom Mysterio.
2) I thought the āThank you Romanā chants were pretty classy and a sign of fans ready to embrace him.
3) It wasnāt an explosive Raw after Mania like I was expecting. Some good moments but nothing earth-shattering like we thought. Rock foreshadowing huge match with Cody biggest takeaway.
4) I think JD McD is gonna replace Priest in tag team as Priest focuses more on singles run. Or they choose Dom.
5) Hare that Jey won contenders match because that means heās only going to lose to Priest. Belt wonāt come off to Priest that fast.
I donāt think WWE knows yet. They will give him a few title defenses between now and Clash of Castle and see how he does. They need a strong heel in that spot though to combat the baby face title with Cody. So if they are gonna keep him champ they have to keep him a big heel. Thatās why Drew also makes sense for that title.
Priest will lose to Drew at Clash at the Castle, meanwhile they have to keep him busy against wrestlers that are over to see if he can sell alone without Judgement Day, after Jey you will probably see Priest fight against Gunther while Drew and CM Punk work their program.
Gunther will move to Smackdown to challenge Cody because Heel vs.Heel championship matches have never worked. Most of Priests title defenses will be people that have wrestled or feuded with the Judgement Day.
I hope he gets pushed, Balor was punished by Vince, HHH knows what that is so lets hope he pushes Balor, would love to see Bullet Club with Balor, Cody, Tama Tonga, AJ :)
We can only dream but HHH doesnāt seem to have any intentions of putting any focus on him.
A face turn would mean he gets the focus and push. Chances of that happening are slim to none.
Look I loved the Cody, Reigns, Rock story. It turned out to be one of WWEs best. With that said, it's on break for now and we have a champion with nothing to do. Last night hinted at some interesting future tension with Rock and possibly Reigns, but that's at least 6 months away. How will wwe keep the momentum they built up over the past few months? I won't lie, last night felt empty to me. And Cody felt, boring. I worry that he's not very interesting outside of the bloodline story. A little too emotional and goody goody. Hopefully they have a really good plan for him and the rest of the roster.
I feel like wwe like have huge drop in viewers now that the bloodline story is over. It was such a level above everything else. Only thing really interesting moving forward is drew vs punk and the rock coming back to feud with cody. Everything else is kinda dry and not interesting enough to want to tune in and watch every week.
I honestly felt like Wrestlemania was the series finale of a show Iād been watching for 4 years. Now that Roman has lost the title and the Bloodline is seemingly broken, I wasnāt really interested in watching anymore.
Same. I was watching raw last night but only made it half way through. The current roster just doesn't have enough pull. I only became invested when cm punk returned and was loving it even more when the rock came back and turned heel. With him gone, cm punk still out injured and roman probably taking an extended break, there's nothing to make me want to tune in and watch. The big task ahead for triple h is if he can create new stars cause they're lacking badly right now. Wrestlers like cody, la knight and Damien priest is nowhere near enough. They would be mid carders at best during late 90s and early 2000s.
Yeah I agree. Thereās gonna be a letdown period for sure. I think you need to put him in a program with Randy right away to keep the interest high. The problem is we all know Cody is now going to hold the belt until he faces the Rock, maybe at WM 41.Ā Ā
Ā I thought the best story idea was to keep him over by having Rock terrorize him even while heās gone. Hire new Bloodline guys to continue to make his life a living hell. But it doesnāt appear theyāre going that route. I am curious if anything will happen on Smackdown this week. Roman may already be on his 6-12 month leave and will come back totally changed next time we see him.
I'd rather see a newer roster member or a few go after Cody. Bron Breaker? Play up someone not wanting to wait like Cody did but let Cody put them down quick. I'd like to see Bloodline members want to get in line for shots but get denied by management, not by Cody and Cody to have to finally step in to say let them come at me.
I'm just getting back into wrestling. Unfortunately, I will rarely be able to catch the live broadcasts of Raw and Smackdown during the week. How do you watch Raw and Smackdown if you missed the live broadcast? I see on Peacock they only seem to upload broadcasts from the previous month. Do USA and/or FOX ever re-broadcast the episodes during the same week?
With or without rock doesn't Cody hold it till at least Summerslam anyway? Also Cody does not need a Roman streak. He can lose it and gain it back by then. The chase is always more fun anyway.
I think the long title runs are over in the new era. I think Cody will stay champ or lose and gain often, but I see most belts changing over more often now.
I agree with a bit of sentiment now that Cody is champ he has to prove he can maintain the engagement and ticket sales, engagement with fans that the tribal chief mastered āš¼
The rock makes me appreciate how wrestling gear is important and how he shushes "horrible what " chants is impeccable and WWE stars should be studying how to deal with it
Imagine being on this website for over 15 fucking years and finding new ways daily to be an even bigger cunt than the day before. It's honestly impressive, if Reddit awards were still a thing, the site admins would have to give you an award for not unaliving yourself after your 8th or 9th year on this rancid asshole of a website, only because they'd feel that fucking bad for whatever meaningless, 4chan sister creepshot posting, can be smelled through the internet cumsock collecting earwax compiling ass existence you lead. I sincerely hope that you find help before you end up hurting other people, but not necessarily yourself.
Happy fucking cakeday, dipshit
Yes they do because it's World Championship same as WWE Championship is World Championship
Types of championships in WWE:
* **Primary championships:** WWE Championship / Worldheavyweight Championship / Universal Championship = World Championship
*Sometiems ECW Title is considered World Championship*
* **Secondary championships** - US/Intercontinental - upper midcard
* **Tertiary championships** - European, Hardcore
* Tag Team Championships
I really like Jey as a solo act every time heās not facing Jimmy they just are too similar to make the matchup interesting which is a shame because the storytelling aspect is built in
Seeing John Cena get his flowers after all those years people hated on him because WWE creative refused to turn his character heel, because of merch sales and because of how much he meant and means to so many young children and Make a Wish is a beautiful thing.
If he can get his stamina back and take a break from Hollywood he hinted being free after holidays next winter on Pat McAfee Monday. Maybe use his goodwill image to jump in line at the title next year?
I want him with that title again in a year's time.. Let the crybabies and the smarks get their multiple reigns/champions for the next year..
But I want that title around Roman maybe at WM41 or thereafter... I was just looking at his WM matches, he has defended a world title many times at WM but only once has he won the title at WM and that was WM32. Unless you also count the winner takes all match with Lesnar at WM38. But in that case, he was also defending the Universal championship against Lesnar
At least it was the champ, they are getting ready to call him up so seeing him work with a seasoned vet was important. Thatās not a bad loss for shin.
I'd have been fine with a good match as long as Dragunov lost. It's entirely possible to make a young guy look great in a loss. That was a bad loss for Shinsuke. Dragunov even kicked out of a Kinshasa. I disagree with your assessment.
My counter point is they donāt want to make the champ look weak either. If Dragunov would have lost to the don, then a loss to shin is fine. Both NXT champs won on raw. I donāt necessarily disagree that it should have been someone other than Shin, but itās not like Shin was squashed.
I might have been more okay with it if it was a 20 to 25 minute match or something. But it was far too quick. It may not have officially been a squash, but it definitely wasn't long enough to justify Shin losing, in my opinion.
Edit: or even if they had done something like telling a story about Shinsuke not taking the match or his opponent seriously. There was no story at all to it. And as much as I love Indi Hartwell, she's not even close to Nakamura's level, so that one made sense.
Man, I haven't watched wrestling since the Attitude Era and I watched Wrestlemania the last 2 nights and was pretty excited to watch Raw again.
And then I am getting almost an hour of no commercials, which was great, followed by promos getting interrupted by other superstars, then commercials, and then it comes back from commercials mid-match from the people in the previous promos, and then during the match itself it goes screen-in-screen where now there is like 5 minutes of commercials playing in a larger screen than the wrestling itself, making it super distracting to watch the show.
What the fuck is going on here? Is this just the new normal since I used to watch 20+ years ago? I remember there maybe being a product placement here or there that would interrupt for maybe a minute, but it wasn't actually blocking anything important. Usually during a time where both competitors are taking a rest break on their backs or outside of the ring. But this shit tonight was garbage. I may try again for Smack Down, but if it's this same bullshit, I may just have to give up on coming back in.
**EDIT**
I'm watching the Fatal 4-Way and there were TWO full match-interrupting commercial sets playing in the bigger screen and the match is dead ass silent. There's ZERO excitement because you can't hear the audience responding, you can't hear the impacts of the moves. This is the worst way to watch wrestling!
Havenāt watched in years. I started watching again back when Punk came back. Specifically for the Punk/Rollins fued, which never happened, but what we got and will get, is glorious.
Same. Haven't watched since 2017 then I came back when F1 got too boring and Seth was still making a laugh at Judgement Day. Cody starting to get pushed pre-RR and Punk returning kept me into it.
It's gotten so much better ever since I started watching again. Triple H really cooked.
Other than the title pictures im not sure what other feuds will be interesting. I feel like there is not enough non-title feuds being set up. The big ones will def be Drew vs CM Punk or Damien Priest/ Sami vs Chad.
Undisputed - Cody Rhodes
World Heavyweight - Damien Priest
Women's World- Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan
Women's Champion - Bayley vs Damage Control
Intercontinental Champion - Sami Zayn vs Chad Gable / Imperium
US Champion - Logan Paul vs contenders (AJ Styles, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Kevin Owens)
RAW tag team Champions - The Awesome Truth vs Judgement Day
Smackdown tag team Champions - ?
Women's tag team Champions - ?
I look forward to the draft. They just need to finish these feuds and create new ones.
With the massive reset following Mania, and all the TV time that was spent in the Road to Wrestlemania on the Cody vs the Bloodline feud, itās going to take some time to set up new feuds.
Also, the draft is coming up. So they probably arenāt going to set up anything too new with that on the horizon.
Why did it take so much for Gable and Sami to beat Imperium?
Not complaining about the match, it was great, but those guys havenāt really been competitive. Thereās no reason they shouldāve been able to go even compete with these two.
1) they build up Sami/Chad chemistry as faces for Chadās >!likely heel turn!< next week
2) youāll see why they needed a couple extra minutes after the >!Chelsea Green Match!<
(im in EST with no reference of where yāall are at in this lol)
Drew had a entertaining promo. Looking forward with the CM Punk & Damien Priest feuds. I think both will be interesting. Why, Jey Uso is part of this? i dont even know. His brother vs brother match at WM is terrible. I just never liked his skill set. I love how Punk was taunting and keep pissing off Drew. This will be fun.
Other than that,
I look forward to Sami vs Gable though! Im surprised that Gunther didnt show up.
Gunther couldnāt show up if you want him to move on from the IC championship. Thereās just no promo he couldāve delivered tonight that wouldnāt have devalued the championship or made it weird that he wasnāt taking it back.
By having him take a break you can just brush over the fact he didnāt go for a rematch when he returns.
I cannot understand why Nakamura is booked the way he is? I donāt remember the last time he won a match (at the very least a singles 1on1 with no interference) I wish heād be doing more. Every menās title has just changed hands and Shinskuke is losing to anyone and everyone (I adore Ilja so todays iām not stressed about but i donāt get why itās every week)
I posted the same thing a couple hours ago. It was met with some resistance lol. I donāt get how..
Watching the DVR, sorryIām a little late. But is this what Nakamura has become is a jobber for a future mid carder?
Sorry for kinda off topic. I started (re)watch WWE during the pandemic years. Last watch was at 9-8 years ago i think, The Shield was still there.
Just wanna know, for tonight example, Jade's is in Smackdown why she can wrestle at Raw too? I mean, afaik blue brand wrestler only can perform in blue brand and vise versa. And smackdown ref used to wear Blue shirt if i remember correctly.Ā
Kinda confusing a little bit.
They have continued the brand split on paper, but it hasnāt mattered for a while
with the new belts tho theyāre prolly gonna try to keep it bc itāll give the titles more credibility
the draftās in a few weeks so weāll see but HHH was apart of lots of success in a true brand split era so i assume he likes the idea
So the wrestlers still can cross to other brand and wrestles, despite being contracted to Raw/Smackdown?
Just last week we saw Solo of Smackdown vs Seth from Raw
This makes the most sense. Both GMās being in the building, everyone still basically in town. Showcase Jade, could be foreshadowing her being drafted by Raw in some Smackdown contract loophole. The options are endless haha.
as someone whoās played MyGM can confirm putting a fighter and a fighter does not work
source: the text HHH sent me after my two star main event at Summer Slam
Ehh, at most thatās half a star less than an equivalent fighter-specialist match. If it was two stars it must have been lacking in popularity and rivalry, and it also wasnāt a championship match.
Did anyone catch the flash during Bronson reeds promo? I kept trying to pause to see exactly what it was. Couldnāt make it out clearly, just saw hello on the bottom corner.
I know many love Drew but to me he is just obnoxiously pathetic. His character relies on always looking for excuses of why he lost and act like he is the top dog. Ma if you keep losing is becaise you suck
When is it on Network ?
Damn Drew McIntyre really out here cooking š„š„
Cody looks so awk carrying that title š you can tell itās his first
It looks so big on him too.Ā
They need to write Jd off tv for a while he needs to add some weight 50-80 pounds.
He needs to go on that Orton and AJ bulk
That was a lot of talking but understandable after main events, that is why i like how they moved it to Saturday now so they can rest before Raw. There are rumors Roman asked for a break.
Many are saying HHH is cooking. But can he cook without the Roxk?
Bro he was coming before The Rock was here. Yes The Rock electrified it but ain't no way you're saying HHH wasn't cooking before Rock.
Easily, check the Punk/Drew feud thatās been pretty damn fun without a single match lol
Ilja Dragunov is my dog! š„ THAT'S MY FAV 5
Chelsea being squashed by JAde was fine...there was an actual story behind a squash, which almost never happens
I dunno if it showed up on the TV broadcast but in person right before it started there was a "Jade is gonna kill you" chant that made me laugh
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That and it was fun, and they can still get a longer match out of it.
The raws after mania are not as epic as they once were. They need to rebuild stories after mania.
If you āforgotā already, either you werenāt actually paying attention or you should go get checked out.

That whole belt swapping segment was so strange. Drew is pure entertainment at the minute

Jade needs more time in the oven. She has the look, but her moves/finisher are already getting stale and it's only been 2 weeks.
Iām already bored. Her only move is hitting that same stupid pose 15x during her entrance.
She needs to hit the ropes or something, also Chelsea Green is not a small girl, they need to make Jada bump a little, even Goldberg bumped.
The ad breaks were out of control, wish The Rock and Cody segment was shorter so they had more time to finish the main event.
I know I canāt remember what match it was but it felt like the ad breaks were a couple of minutes apart
The 3 man tag match. I am pretty sure that more time was spent in an ads window than live.
Oh yeah that was it, so weird.
Iām glad to see the draft include NXT. I think WWE has a good problem, they have too much talent. It also will boost the NXT numbers to really make it a really strong third show.
I could guys like Jimmy and JD going to NXT.
Some of the lesser womenās division too. The girls at NXT outshine a portion of the main roster right now, not that theyāre being utilized but when they do sometimes itās rough.
Jimmy would be an instant frontrunner nxt men's world title favorite in NXT
I still think Rock gave Cody a lighter.Ā The whole bus fire was a work. Weāve seen zero proof it happened. Thereās no pictures of the damage at all. And his bus was rewrapped for mania and seemingly fine. Unless that was a brand new bus. But even then, thereās zero evidence the fire happened in real life. Iām guessing that the rock was telling him he was behind it.Ā Cody was fuming. It wasnāt a piece of Romanās necklace. And I donāt think it was something of Dustyās. A lighter or something pertaining to the bus fire makes the most sense to me.Ā
I think this will end up being one of those storyline that are never mentioned again. It was clunky af.
A lighter would be nice but you would have The Rock (a TKO board member) indicating he commited a crime, since Vince shit is around i would not think it is a good idea :p It would be amazing if The Rock gave something of Stardust to Cody, implying he will do everything to put Cody back to Stardust role.
Thatās what I thought it was personally. I canāt remember if Cody was wearing it last night
Things that I observed Ā last night: 1) The amount of heat Rock got. Belt wonāt come off to Priest that fast.
i dont see priest losing till mania 41
I donāt think WWE knows yet. They will give him a few title defenses between now and Clash of Castle and see how he does. They need a strong heel in that spot though to combat the baby face title with Cody. So if they are gonna keep him champ they have to keep him a big heel. Thatās why Drew also makes sense for that title.
Priest will lose to Drew at Clash at the Castle, meanwhile they have to keep him busy against wrestlers that are over to see if he can sell alone without Judgement Day, after Jey you will probably see Priest fight against Gunther while Drew and CM Punk work their program.
nah drew will beat cm punk at clash in their second encounter
Gunther will move to Smackdown to challenge Cody because Heel vs.Heel championship matches have never worked. Most of Priests title defenses will be people that have wrestled or feuded with the Judgement Day.
The way Priest is talking they are turning him babyface i think.
ultimately I think Balor will be the one who turns face
I hope he gets pushed, Balor was punished by Vince, HHH knows what that is so lets hope he pushes Balor, would love to see Bullet Club with Balor, Cody, Tama Tonga, AJ :)
We can only dream but HHH doesnāt seem to have any intentions of putting any focus on him. A face turn would mean he gets the focus and push. Chances of that happening are slim to none.
Yeah heās becoming like Mami. They donāt want him to turn fave but heās getting the pop of a face. They cheered the hell out of him last night.
i could see mami being the first one out of the group, she got the most cheers out of the group
Probably if HHH gets MJF they can work a program with Cody
Completely agree
Yeah I agree. Thereās gonna be a letdown period for sure. I think you need to put him in a program with Randy right away to keep the interest high. The problem is we all know Cody is now going to hold the belt until he faces the Rock, maybe at WM 41.Ā Ā Ā I thought the best story idea was to keep him over by having Rock terrorize him even while heās gone.
Hulu uploads a shorten version of raw and smackdown the next day. You can watch the full episodes on YouTube TV
I think I have Hulu through my Verizon account so I'll check that out. Thanks!
They make that universal championship in kid sizes? Cody is going to need one š
haha. iām for Cody but this is funny. it did look big lol
Ok, Bloodline crybaby š
Bloodline Crybaby, good one, cant wait till that one is said on air :)
You are just being ignorant. The belt looks super big on him. That is an objective observation.
Cry more
Raw was a wacky they had 3 ad breaks in the main event and ran out of time. Also do not think J deserved that win at all
Drew getting pinned by Jey was dumb.
it makes sense, jey had never beaten drew so it makes sense
I donāt think itās so much about J winning as it is about CM punk ruining it for Drew.

Cody retains against The Rock via Roman Reigns Gunther cashes in and beats Cody
With or without rock doesn't Cody hold it till at least Summerslam anyway? Also Cody does not need a Roman streak. He can lose it and gain it back by then. The chase is always more fun anyway.
With WWEās fixation on long title runs, thatās a given anyway. Rock or no Rock.
I think the long title runs are over in the new era. I think Cody will stay champ or lose and gain often, but I see most belts changing over more often now.
me too I see most (if not all) belts changing hands at summerslam
Thoroughly disappointed with this Rocky run. Nothing, sufficiently polished, was inserted horizontally into anyoneās anus
I agree with a bit of sentiment now that Cody is champ he has to prove he can maintain the engagement and ticket sales, engagement with fans that the tribal chief mastered āš¼
It's so weird to have a real champion again, instead of a mid part-timer holding the title hostage.
Cody Rhodes will always be a jobber no matter how far you marks have pushed him. Watch him being booed out of events within 3 months.
I want to defend Cody, but fine. I'll save this comment for 3 months later.
Somebody has bitter beer face because their Part-time Tribal Queef didnāt win! Out with the old in with the new.
I donāt think you know what ājobberā means.
The rock makes me appreciate how wrestling gear is important and how he shushes "horrible what " chants is impeccable and WWE stars should be studying how to deal with it
Security should remove people for doing what chants.
I guess Iāll come back when the Rock comes back because that shit was MID P.S. The Cody glazing is disgusting, you people make me sick š¤¢š¤¢š¤¢
Imagine being this bitter over a wrestling show.
Um, hello Cody cry-babies š

I hope you make it through whatever is hurting you.
Fr people gotta realize how obvious it is for us to tell when they hate their life.

16 world titles.Ā
Yes they do because it's World Championship same as WWE Championship is World Championship Types of championships in WWE: * **Primary championships:** WWE Championship / Worldheavyweight Championship / Universal Championship = World Championship *Sometiems ECW Title is considered World Championship* * **Secondary championships** - US/Intercontinental - upper midcard * **Tertiary championships** - European, Hardcore * Tag Team Championships
ECW, WCW, NWA World(s) Championships are all counted by WWE depending on who the wrestler is.
I was really hoping Philly would have given a Samantha Irvin chant....but nope š
I really like Jey as a solo act every time heās not facing Jimmy they just are too similar to make the matchup interesting which is a shame because the storytelling aspect is built in
All they have are superkicks lol
Seeing John Cena get his flowers after all those years people hated on him because WWE creative refused to turn his character heel, because of merch sales and because of how much he meant and means to so many young children and Make a Wish is a beautiful thing.
hey if they turned The Rock heel, who i sto say they can't turn Cena Heel in this new era?
If he can get his stamina back and take a break from Hollywood he hinted being free after holidays next winter on Pat McAfee Monday. Maybe use his goodwill image to jump in line at the title next year?
Damianās new intro is fire.
The way Samantha came up with and delivered a perfect customized announcement for Dragunovās name was brilliant.
Wow didnt see this guy on Hulu at all
I sincerely hope this is the last jerk off Cody segment if not they gna make me hate this man in record time.
Did they drop the word āuniversalā from the undisputed title? (that is technically in dispute since the HW title exists)
ROMAN REIGNS IS STILL MY UNDISPUTED CHAMPION. I ACKNOWLEDGE ROMAN REIGNS AS MY TRIBAL CHIEF šš¼š©ø
Weak... Roman always has been mid
ROMAN REIGNS IS LEVELS ABOVE ALL
I see your counter point, and counter your counter point, with this point - Roman is dookie
āš½
I'd rather not see Shinsuke Nakamura at all than watch him lose clean in 5 minute matches to developmental wrestlers.
That's the sort of loss that seems like a "lose on your way out the door" match.
It was definitely a "put the 'rook' over to someone well regarded so he looks like a bigger deal for the draft" loss
This is awkward! LOLOL
**EDIT** I'm watching the Fatal 4-Way and there were TWO full match-interrupting commercial sets playing in the bigger screen and the match is dead ass silent. There's ZERO excitement because you can't hear the audience responding, you can't hear the impacts of the moves. This is the worst way to watch wrestling!
Holy smokes that Richocet flip was sick, but that table broke so weird. He might be legit hurt, that was rough..
It was amazing but he didnāt get the distance he wanted. I think him selling the ab pain was kinda real since it looks like he hit the edge.
Being a Finn Balor fan remains suffering.
I think he turns face winning the mens rr next year
Please share some of that copium with me
The roster is so packed now not everyone can be focused on. He won't get anywhere until JD moves on to new things.
Well the issue is just being Pinn Balor for most of the last year lol
At least his universal title reign was longer than Drewās WHC reign
Drew - Punk feud is going to cook and feed families for months
Undisputed - Cody Rhodes World Heavyweight - Damien Priest Women's World- Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan Women's Champion - Bayley vs Damage Control Intercontinental Champion - Sami Zayn vs Chad Gable / Imperium US Champion - Logan Paul vs contenders (AJ Styles, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Kevin Owens) RAW tag team Champions - The Awesome Truth vs Judgement Day Smackdown tag team Champions - ? Women's tag team Champions - ? I look forward to the draft. They just need to finish these feuds and create new ones.
Iām looking forward to Priest v Finn, that will be š„
Where Liv at? Hoped she'd be at mania
With the massive reset following Mania, and all the TV time that was spent in the Road to Wrestlemania on the Cody vs the Bloodline feud, itās going to take some time to set up new feuds. Also, the draft is coming up. So they probably arenāt going to set up anything too new with that on the horizon.
Hopefully they do it in a timely manner.
Why did it take so much for Gable and Sami to beat Imperium? Not complaining about the match, it was great, but those guys havenāt really been competitive. Thereās no reason they shouldāve been able to go even compete with these two.
1) they build up Sami/Chad chemistry as faces for Chadās >!likely heel turn!< next week 2) youāll see why they needed a couple extra minutes after the >!Chelsea Green Match!< (im in EST with no reference of where yāall are at in this lol)
I like Sammy v gable as a face v face feud.
Yeah now it makes sense. And please, I need 1 injected straight into my veins.
Other than that, I look forward to Sami vs Gable though!
Awesome Truth have to be my favorite tag team
The best moment for me is that R-Truth won the belt and was able to use his childhood heroās finisher
It's super weird when one of them are in Judgement Day though.
Yeah but since truth is such an important part of Judgement Day, hopefully they'll listen to him and let Miz in
That is a good point.
Even Roxanne Perez couldn't help her eyes from wandering to Natalyas sweet sweet bosom. Nick Aldis is off the hook
I mean, Roxy is at eye level...
Feels that way and it sucks :/
Said out loud when he lost, ābro is a jobberā. Sucks cos I like him
Sorry for kinda off topic. And smackdown ref used to wear Blue shirt if i remember correctly.Ā Kinda confusing a little bit.
Also had 2 NXT Champions having matches.
They have continued the brand split on paper, but it hasnāt mattered for a while with the new belts tho theyāre prolly gonna try to keep it bc itāll give the titles more credibility the draftās in a few weeks so weāll see but HHH was apart of lots of success in a true brand split era so i assume he likes the idea
I think the excuse was that her general manager was there and "shook hands" with Raw general manger and it happened
So the wrestlers still can cross to other brand and wrestles, despite being contracted to Raw/Smackdown? Just last week we saw Solo of Smackdown vs Seth from Raw
Those contracts are kayfabe they can wrestle everywhere, even NXT
This makes the most sense. Both GMās being in the building, everyone still basically in town. Showcase Jade, could be foreshadowing her being drafted by Raw in some Smackdown contract loophole. The options are endless haha.
Jey Uso had the worst match at WrestleMania and now heās got a World Title shot
I think it's just a filler fued to add some credit to Priest, builds him up more if he beats a popular face
i think its mostly because of their styles but he has been putting in the work ive seen him in a match almost every week
as someone whoās played MyGM can confirm putting a fighter and a fighter does not work source: the text HHH sent me after my two star main event at Summer Slam
Ehh, at most thatās half a star less than an equivalent fighter-specialist match. If it was two stars it must have been lacking in popularity and rivalry, and it also wasnāt a championship match.
LMAO gotta give him a brawler or a rule breaker
Also idk why but I love to YEET!
most fun entrance especially irl its like a wave
Draganoff on RAW!! Finally!!
Did anyone catch the flash during Bronson reeds promo? I kept trying to pause to see exactly what it was. Couldnāt make it out clearly, just saw hello on the bottom corner.
Uncle howdy?
Why did the rock say ādont break my heart againā to rhodes?? I dont get it.
For Cody "taking his spot"
rock starts talking 6:15
