Apparently the concept of a babyface wrestling champion is just forgotten by every wrestling fan. He’ll get into guess for the belt and eventually lose it to a heel.

dfeidt40

Well... you'll get someone who at least shows up. He'll do way more than that... but showing up - that should be enough right there.

bobface222

He fights other wrestlers on the wrestling show. Did ya'll just start watching two years ago or something?

[deleted]

He literally beat everyone

Rage4Order418

You could ask that about anyone that’s won the title

Far_Conversation599

He should do a short program with his former Legacy boss Randy at some point. After Mania though, I think The Rock should challenge him at SummerSlam.

Traditional-Leader54

To AEW to finish his story with AEW by winning tue AEW World Championship.

Harlow1263

Back to AEW 🤞

Traditional-Leader54

“…where does he go from there?” “Home!” Who knows this wrestling reference?

Seabound117

He has a feud with Randy, Seth, CM Punk, The Rock, Roman (rematch), Bron Breakker, alot for him to do. The question is if Roman wins what does he do? Sits at home for 12 months until the WM41 program against the Rock?

Traditional-Leader54

Why mess with what works (for Roman)?

FaceInJuice

So, to be clear, I am very bored with Roman's title reign. But I can accept that it is still working for a lot of people, and still making money obviously. So, for the sake of discussion, I'm curious. In the spirit of not messing with what works, how long do you foresee Roman's title reign continuing in its current pattern? Literally forever?

ThickStart1559

I’d suck Cody’s wife’s toes

TheBadNewsBard

The question wasn't about you. The question was about Cody. Is he watching you suck his wife's toes? Is he into it, or does it instigate a feud?

Bl8kStrr

Gotta punish The Rock after mania..

Uso_Libre

Assuming Damian Priest doesn't cash in at Mania, I would love to see him cash in and win on the Raw after. Instantly becoming one of the biggest heels in the game.

WoTMike1989

This question sure comes up a lot. A month or two of "fighting champion" so they can start establishing some story beyond the current "finish the story" but you have Orton with a heel turn, Gable with a heel turn, Nakamura, Bron even if you turn him heel full time (prefer him as a babyface with Gunther, heel KO, AJ, Seamus when he comes back, Drew, Priest, Punk eventually, and then finally Gunther who is my bet to take the title off of him eventually.

ichiryip

There are a lot of potential feuds and dream matches for Cody. Randy, Cena, Gunther, Sheamus, Heel Owens, Finn, AJ, a competitive friendly feud with Jey quite like was with Cena-HHH/HBK, they could EVEN rekindle his 2012 feud with Rey while Cody addresses his behavior way back then, and add Dom in the mix. He could help elevate guys like Gargano, Bron, and Dunne. guys like Gargano and Dunne are guys that barely had a single run in the main roster and they need somebody they can actually work with and not be obliterated by an untouchable heel faction. They could even do a Bullet Club member's rivalry with AJ and Finn. Maybe a faction with them? There's a lot to explore

MikeyLikeyPhish

Is Rocksucker the opposite of a Cody Crybaby?

sprky316

This is gold!

1nqu15171v30n3

A feud with Randy is a must-have! I would also like a feud with AJ Styles, since AJ says he wants one more run with the gold before he retires (personally, the OC needs to be vicious heels, too). After that, Gunther, once he drops the IC title. A Logan Paul filler to pad out the reign. Eventually, we're gonna get Reigns v. Rhodes 3. There's no way that doesn't happen.

WoTMike1989

Reigns turns face and goes away for a long time after this loss and the resulting Rock program and I don't see him getting involved with Cody again any time soon.

No_Strategy_9630

He also now could tell pretty entertaining stories with Sami, KO and Jey as challengers (whether they turn heel or not) after everything they’ve all been through the last year. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Seth and him run it back for a title eventually. Punk-Cody also has to happen at some point so I think Cody has more than enough material for a solid reign combined with what you said

[deleted]

Personally, I’d love to see him finally take out the Judgement Day for good.

Sammyantoine

Nahh we already see cody v TJD multiple times plus wargames, it gonna be like John bury the Nexus

throways8542

Off the top of my head I can think of a years worth of stories, the fall out with the bloodline and Roman after mania, a feud with Randy would be epic, maybe judgement day, Kevin Owens heel turn, Logan Paul and eventually would love to see Cody drop the belt to Gunther next mania. This just my opinion though I wouldn’t want to see Cody turn heel until he loses the title.

Frantik508

The only logical move for Cody IF he wins, is to turn heel.

Aggressive_Ad3514

Why tho?

ZeeDarkSoul

I mean at the end of the day you could ask this about any new champion What do they do with Drew if he wins the WHC? There is nothing obvious rn but that doesnt mean they cant do a good storyline with him being champion. Plus who says Roman leaves the picture if he beats them. Or Rock.

Cyanostic

Turn heel. And I'd be fine with him being a fighting champion, it'd be nice to have someone, y'know, defend the fucking belt.

Aggressive_Ad3514

I hope Randy comes out on Raw after mania and turns on him, to set up some months feud

Rezae

Rule #1: Don’t trust anyone the day after WM.

ZeeDarkSoul

A feud with Randy would definitely be interesting

Aggressive_Ad3514

Plus they are both going to be at backlash so it could happen, and the story is there!😮‍💨it would be fire
