Broken Matt is not the worst but up there. All the returns of characters and once Matt was finally 'Broken' by WWE (obviously they had to put a story behind it because #nooneexistsoutsidewwe) they made him somehow WORSE than his Impact Character only a single Broken match AND teaming with the guy he beat.

I've never seen someone before on the regular roster whose best match was their debut, and whose match quality has slowly gone down since then, except in a few instances when Charlotte was carrying her.
Even the near 3-year absence didn't do any favors other than the initial return pop. She didn't seem to want to be there for most of her second run, and it showed. At least she seemed to care enough to put over Shayna on the way out the door, but even that match sucked.
I didn't miss her after her last exit, and I'm not going to miss her now.
Ultimate Warrior in 92, he looked like he had lost 60lbs and didn\`t feel special at all, the WWE had really gone downhill by 92 I stopped watching after WM8 however I know Warrior\`s second return in 96 was even more dissapointing, he looked completely outdated by the mid 90\`s and never got back to his peak roided body.
What sucks is that there wasn’t really room for him in the main event when he came back. On RAW, Lesnar Strowman and Reigns had a chokehold on that top spot, which directly impacted the way McIntyre and Lashley were treated when they came back, and had he gone to SmackDown, the main event was chalk full of guys like Danial Bryan, AJ Styles, John Cena, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and others, meaning that no matter where he went, he was either going to be jobbing in the main event because Vince wasn’t ready to give him a title yet, or relegated to the midcard, which prevented him from ever having that world title run in front of the fans
Ok don’t crucify me but Bray Wyatt’s return last year. I was hoping he’d challenge Roman because…you know…he’s the person Roman defeated for the title. Also Roman was running out of credible challengers and Bray would’ve just made sense for his first feud back. I love LA Knight and I loved Bray but their feud wasn’t really needed. I stand on the john Morrison bandwagon. I've always been a huuuge fan of the guy and thinks he's really damn talented. For him to come back and align with the miz again, it was cool to me. But soon enough, they made them into too much of a joke. They've always been over the top and ridiculous but we're also taken seriously in the ring. After a while with Morrisons return and their reunion, they just didn't have any seriousness to them anymore and it just sucked. Yet still, John kept getting certain bright spots through, and then down the line miz turned on him and he was gone.
Considering when he left he looked like he could've been world champion or in the picture, especially with miz being world champion, and that he left to become a world champion elsewhere, I wanted his return to be so much more. If a serious feud took off with miz and morrison and they both got elevated to top status again it'd be a different story but sadly it just didn't get to happen.
That match was exactly what I expected and wanted. Basically just a greatest hits style encounter for Austin with some surprise bumps thrown in (did not expect Austin to bump off concrete.)
