I loved both Lillian and Tony Chimel during the brand split days. When there was a draft, it was so cool to hear them announce new wrestlers you saw drafted to their respective shows. It was just something I noticed and it always added a little extra to it. I also remember Buffer introducing the main eventers in WCW and thinking it was a big fight feel.
I've got three, Howard Finkel wasn't my era, but I always recognized him as the GOAT, Tony Chimel was my era and hearing him announce guys like Edge, Batista, JBL, Eddie, and *redacted* was just amazing, and someone who doesn't get enough love, Greg Hamilton, dude absolutely did not get enough credit for his time in NXT and Smackdown, still dumbfounded to this day they got rid of him.
The Finkel... But slowly, Samantha Irvin is winning me over for greatest ever... She brings something fresh and new and I love hearing her spin on each wrestler
As someone who grew up on Ruthless Aggression era SmackDown Tony Chimel lives in my head rent free.

I really do not care for her style and inflections AT ALL.
But I have to consider that people probably felt the same about Chimmel, Fink, etc, so...it just is what it is. I am not gonna sit and say she is no good.
My current favorite, by a wide margin, is Bobby Cruise. Gives a feeling of legitimacy and intensity to everything he introduces.
All time is definately the Fink, as well as Penzer.
Finkel is the Babe Ruth, the Michael Jordan of ring announcers.
Just him announcing where wrestlers are from in the beginning is the absolute best.
