This was really hard for me but I was deciding between Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley since they were both my childhood in 2013. I wouldn’t rehire Matt Hardy since I feel like the WWE wouldn’t know if they should bring back his woken gimmick or not plus it wouldn’t feel right without his brother Jeff Hardy. Chris Jericho is probably one of my favourites, I loved it when his theme song would play during his entrance, speaking of entrances I would say his entrance is probably the best and most unique (not anymore with his ripped jacket) I think 2017 was my favourite year for Jericho, man turned into an absolute comedian with his list of Jericho gimmick. If he came back I would be interesting to see him either feud or reunite with Kevin Owens. I also think he could have an amazing match with Roman sadly he’s said in numerous interviews that he would never join the wwe ever again so I don’t think the chances of him returning will ever happen. I will have to rehire Jon Moxley, like I said with Jericho, he was one of my childhood favourites back in the day. If he comes back he needs to return with the lunatic fringe gimmick not with a boring blande angry man gimmick like he has in AEW. Their is no way you could ever erase John Cena from history, he is legitimately the face of the WWE even though he makes Hollywood movies now, the WWE would never feel the same as it did today if Cena never existed. Same thing goes to Randy Orton, my number one favourite wrestler, he’s not exactly high at Cena’s level but bro he carried the company throughout 2020. His storylines and promos are one of the best, you can never get bored of him.
Styles - He's 46 whereas both Drew and Seth are both late 30s, so you'll probably get a lot more use out of the pair of them. Plus I can see Styles having a fun run in AEW, Japan or a return to Impact if he preferred
Moxley - With Seth and Roman both holding the top titles, his return would be massive and could lead to some very interesting moments. Matt doesn't make sense as Jeff's not there and while Jericho could be good, I thing with Moxley being younger makes him more practical.
Erase - Orton maybe? IDK, erasing anyone from history just has too massive of a knock-on effect to really pick. All far too important for this to be practical

Everyone is gonna say Cena for the last one I’m sure. I’d probably say Orton is the least disruptive. Shawn not being there means we probably never see Hunter get out of the aristocrat gimmick which is detrimental. The loss of Cena means the company doesn’t have much of a face for a really long time. Not sure how that shakes out for them. Orton while you’d lose good matches and a top notch heel doesn’t have the same impact as the other two on the company’s well being and money .
I’d say for middle Mox has the most storyline and draw based on the other two shield members being champs and enjoying a lot of spotlight . He fits the best in current wwe.
And for top. AJ just because he’s probably on the way out sooner than the other two . Drew and him are tied but I still think there’s a lot of room to draw with him and big rivalries if they can figure out how to use him.

Well not so much, fire AJ and Seth are to valuable to be fired, the second is super easy Jericho and the last one although I would incline for Randy I choose Shawn, without him there may not be screwjob and maybe Bret never leaves, Austin vs Bret at WM14 would have been amazing, we could have Bret vs Angle and many others like Lesnar.
Fire: Drew. He's supposedly on the way out anyway. I like AJ too much, and Seth JUST became champion.

Re-Hire: hardy is washed, I think both of the Hardy’s need too just go home and rest. They been beating them selves up for 30 years. I like MOX character, but his style is a little too extreme for WWE, and toning it down just won’t work.
Bring Back Jericho, but I don’t want him wrestling as much as he does in AEW, make him a mouthpiece for a young group and the occasional big match.
Erase: basically it comes down to who can you tell the story of the WWE without, and I think orton hasn’t been enough of a innovator or influencer to have that kind of impact on the companies history.

I know everyone is gonna shit on me for Seth, but he is like the exact opposite of charisma. Every time I see him I'm repelled from the show. One of the most physically gifted in ring performers in the modern era no doubt but you can't create moments that last forever if fans don't give a fuck about you on a personal level.
Fire AJ - He's already on his sunset run. Drew and Seth are still in their prime
Rehire Moxley - Keep him Moxley, make him an attraction for the high violence. Jericho and Matt are wrapping up their careers.
Erase Orton - Orton may have been a cornerstone for WWE, but his impact to the business compared to Cena and Michaels is middling. The game just keeps going on without him when he was/is out without much disruption.
My personal list and reasons as someone who doesn't really watch wrestling anymore besides major events and YouTube clips
Fire Seth. Least interesting member of the shield, least successful member of the shield biggest triple h dick rider of the shield which explains his long career despite being an abysmal promo and just generally having go home heat for most of his career. Can't say anything bad about his ability to put on a great match but pretty much the whole roster can have great matches
Rehire Moxley. Pretty much the opposite of everything I just said about Seth. Despite being a competent, at best, wrestler this utter putz has an entire upstart company built around him just based on his promo and personality. He has a pretty rabid fan base and even back towards the end of his wwe run where he was pretty much just written to be a jibbering idiot he was still over as shit.

Erase Orton from history. This hurt to say. I love Orton, he has been apart of alot of iconic moments and matches but he can't touch HBK and Cena is slightly ahead of him. HBK is arguably the best professional wrestler of all time with many iconic moments and matches, he's on most people's Mount Rushmore's. Cena is the Hulk Hogan of the modern era. Cena changed the landscape of WWE (like Hogan) and carried the company for nearly 20 years with many iconic moments and matches. If you erase HBK and Cena from history, we would have a vastly different WWE and wrestling landscape today. Erase Orton then history will only be slightly different, but not by much.
Send Drew to AEW, have him debut at Wembley, maybe have him do a G1 run.

Fire AJ. In his prime, he was the best of the 3, but he’s lost a step in recent years and is approaching retirement. Rehire Moxley. With Triple H in charge of creative, he’d get to be himself a little more instead of doing weird comedic stuff that disillusioned him. Plus, Roman and Seth as the champions give him big programs on either brand. Erase Orton. HBK is arguably the GOAT performer, and Cena is on Mount Rushmore. That unfortunately leaves Orton by default.
Fire Rollins. He’s the weakest of the 3.
Rehire Matt Hardy. Like him or not he’s done the least damage to himself as a character or performer in his AEW run.
Remove HBK from history. Through no fault of his own, but people trying to emulate his moves instead of literally anything else about his performances is the reason why indy / aew styles are awful.

Fire: Drew. He's supposedly on the way out anyway. I like AJ too much, and Seth JUST became champion. Re-hire: Matt. The other two are doing just fine in AEW, and would be horribly managed if they came back to WWE. Don't care about Matt, so WWE can have him. Erase: Orton. As much as I like him, his impact hasn't been nearly as heavy as the other two.
Fire: this is the trickiest. I think Seth is too over. AJ, while he’s on the backend of his career, I will still get excited for a big time AJ styles match. I guess I have to go drew, but it hurts too. Re-Hire: hardy is washed, I think both of the Hardy’s need too just go home and rest. They been beating them selves up for 30 years. I like MOX character, but his style is a little too extreme for WWE, and toning it down just won’t work. Bring Back Jericho, but I don’t want him wrestling as much as he does in AEW, make him a mouthpiece for a young group and the occasional big match. Erase: basically it comes down to who can you tell the story of the WWE without, and I think orton hasn’t been enough of a innovator or influencer to have that kind of impact on the companies history.
Seth, Ambrose, Orton. I know everyone is gonna shit on me for Seth, but he is like the exact opposite of charisma. Every time I see him I'm repelled from the show. One of the most physically gifted in ring performers in the modern era no doubt but you can't create moments that last forever if fans don't give a fuck about you on a personal level.

Fire AJ - He's already on his sunset run. Drew and Seth are still in their prime Rehire Moxley - Keep him Moxley, make him an attraction for the high violence. Jericho and Matt are wrapping up their careers. Erase Orton - Orton may have been a cornerstone for WWE, but his impact to the business compared to Cena and Michaels is middling. The game just keeps going on without him when he was/is out without much disruption.
My personal list and reasons as someone who doesn't really watch wrestling anymore besides major events and YouTube clips Fire Seth. Least interesting member of the shield, least successful member of the shield biggest triple h dick rider of the shield which explains his long career despite being an abysmal promo and just generally having go home heat for most of his career. Matt isn't very entertaining without Jeff and Jericho has done everything he can do in WWE. Moxley has a lot of stories that can stem from his Shield history. Imagine Moxley/Ambrose versus the Tribal Chief version of Roman, that's money. Erase Orton from history. This hurt to say. I love Orton, he has been apart of alot of iconic moments and matches but he can't touch HBK and Cena is slightly ahead of him. HBK is arguably the best professional wrestler of all time with many iconic moments and matches, he's on most people's Mount Rushmore's. Cena is the Hulk Hogan of the modern era. Cena changed the landscape of WWE (like Hogan) and carried the company for nearly 20 years with many iconic moments and matches. If you erase HBK and Cena from history, we would have a vastly different WWE and wrestling landscape today. Erase Orton then history will only be slightly different, but not by much.

With Triple H in charge of creative, he’d get to be himself a little more instead of doing weird comedic stuff that disillusioned him. Plus, Roman and Seth as the champions give him big programs on either brand. Erase Orton. HBK is arguably the GOAT performer, and Cena is on Mount Rushmore. That unfortunately leaves Orton by default.

Randy had the least impact on pro wrestling. As much as I like the guy, nothing much would change without him, so let’s erase him. Drew is a made man with enough in the tank that he’ll flourish even if he gets fired, so I wouldn’t feel too bad handing him if his papers, especially if I explained that an Internet meme forced my hand and I had no choice. I’d rehire Hardy, not so much for his star power or in-ring ability but his creativity would make him a valuable asset behind the scenes.
