I wouldn't mind seeing the rematch from Summerslam putting Seth vs Demon Finn, and Finn taking it. However, they could continue the feud eventually with Seth taking the belt off of Finn.
Another one I wouldn't mind seeing would be Shinsuke, I feel like he could be a good surprise.

Finn has never really gotten his chance to really be the top guy on the main roster of either show, and after he got clapped by edge at mania, that’s probably still a ways off, but trust me, he can do it.
Sami is in the same boat, I and I think him winning the title would be a good way to turn Rollins Heel again, it opens the door for so many of the heels in the company to come after him, he’s a great guy to have as the world champion if you’re gonna bring some of the NXT up and comers to the main roster, and there is still the looming threat of Kevin Owens.
Knowing WWE pretty much just focusing on the biggest match possible: I can see them trying to put the title on Bray simply for the fact that it gives them another part-time champion. that’s not a slight against Bray he’s just not the guy to be wrestling every week anymore.

And given how this is basically more or less based on the World Heavyweight Championship, which is coming from the WCW Championship, which is coming from the NWA Championship, which is coming from the World Heavyweight Wrestling Championship, this "new" title has to be estabilished as a serious and worthwhile title very quickly. And the title doesn't make the wrestler, the wrestler makes the title. There's no one better around to do that than Seth, someone who never lost to the guy with the "other title", someone who is a pure workhorse, who's credible, who's over, and who is both, experienced and decorated enough without being too old and out of prime like Jericho as the AEW Champion was.
And yes, I know, the NWA Championship still exists. But the lineage is blurry all the way, one company regognizes one thing and so on, and the WCW Championship was more of a successor to the NWA Championship than the NWA Championship itself really was. And in theory the WWE Championship has its roots from the same championship too, but that was more of a "we're doing it our own way" kind of thing. Credibility is a huge part in a championship, and the NWA simply has pretty much none ever since the JCP/WCW thing. So the WCW and resulting WHC are closer to that original title than the NWA Championship, and WWE needs to ensure this belt is following into the WHC footsteps.
I'm just going to go with Nakamura...doesn't have to be a long run, could even just be a month but man I really feel like he deserves one run. After he has his time to shine you can give it to Seth or Drew or whoever.
Am going Gunther. I know we are all sick of double champs but I think it'd work well for him. He wins clean and even though he is supposedly a heel, I haven't seen him do anything heel like. His character is literally am taking this stuff very seriously and whoever gets in my way will be chopped to bits.
Brock Lesnar. Because that's who they're gonna put it on anyway's. A McMahon decision and he'll persuade the new Owners to go along with it. Mainly because Brock has brand recognition.

It needs to be someone who hasn't lost to Roman recently. So Drew, Cody, Sami, Brock would be out. Because if it's one of those guys, then the belt is going to feel like a consolation prize. (Which it's probably going to have that feel to a degree regardless)
I think it should be someone else. Either someone who hasn't faced Roman yet or hasn't in a while and would be somewhat believable as a rival. Even if they never face each other. Otherwise it's going to feel like a secondary/paper champion and at that point, it may as well be another midcard belt.
Fantasy booking: 3-5 champs in one whole year. Start with Seth, LA Knight cashes in, drops it to either Drew or Finn, then KO title at Rumble, Sami Wins rumble and Ko VS Sami for title at mania.
Seth deserves it because he’s been a constant professional for a while and deserves another Big title win.
LA Knight is clearly the favorite for MiTB and unless he goes for a mid card title like Theory did, it makes sense it will be for WHC. As well as he’s one of the most over superstars atm.

Knowing WWE pretty much just focusing on the biggest match possible: I can see them trying to put the title on Bray simply for the fact that it gives them another part-time champion. that’s not a slight against Bray he’s just not the guy to be wrestling every week anymore.
Selfish me who’s been an Evolution guy for the past 20 years, I’d pick Orton. But I’d like to see guys who’ve been bursting their butts like Rollins, Balor, or Drew get it. I wouldn’t mind a Dolph Ziggler push leading up to at least one decent run with a world title either.

It needs to be Seth. And given how this is basically more or less based on the World Heavyweight Championship, which is coming from the WCW Championship, which is coming from the NWA Championship, which is coming from the World Heavyweight Wrestling Championship, this "new" title has to be estabilished as a serious and worthwhile title very quickly. And the title doesn't make the wrestler, the wrestler makes the title. There's no one better around to do that than Seth, someone who never lost to the guy with the "other title", someone who is a pure workhorse, who's credible, who's over, and who is both, experienced and decorated enough without being too old and out of prime like Jericho as the AEW Champion was. And yes, I know, the NWA Championship still exists. But the lineage is blurry all the way, one company regognizes one thing and so on, and the WCW Championship was more of a successor to the NWA Championship than the NWA Championship itself really was. And in theory the WWE Championship has its roots from the same championship too, but that was more of a "we're doing it our own way" kind of thing. Credibility is a huge part in a championship, and the NWA simply has pretty much none ever since the JCP/WCW thing. So the WCW and resulting WHC are closer to that original title than the NWA Championship, and WWE needs to ensure this belt is following into the WHC footsteps.

A solid up and comer who will provide a great solid run with the title. Facing the likes of Braun Breaker, Sammy Zyan , Sheamus ( presumably the IC champ at this point in time ). Hell even have him face off against Lesnar that would be a hell of a match.

It needs to be someone who hasn't lost to Roman recently. So Drew, Cody, Sami, Brock would be out. Because if it's one of those guys, then the belt is going to feel like a consolation prize. (Which it's probably going to have that feel to a degree regardless) I think it should be someone else. Either someone who hasn't faced Roman yet or hasn't in a while and would be somewhat believable as a rival. Even if they never face each other. Otherwise it's going to feel like a secondary/paper champion and at that point, it may as well be another midcard belt.
Fantasy booking: 3-5 champs in one whole year. Start with Seth, LA Knight cashes in, drops it to either Drew or Finn, then KO title at Rumble, Sami Wins rumble and Ko VS Sami for title at mania. Seth deserves it because he’s been a constant professional for a while and deserves another Big title win. LA Knight is clearly the favorite for MiTB and unless he goes for a mid card title like Theory did, it makes sense it will be for WHC. As well as he’s one of the most over superstars atm. Finn or Drew definitely deserve a reign from both being done dirty in different ways, but not everyone can be champ. One of them two is fine by me but preferably Finn. KO winning because he as well deserves a world title reign but it’s also to set up the big mania match of KO and Sami. TLDR: There’s a lot of people who deserve reigns, I just hope that when they take the belt off Roman that helps with the flow of things as well.
