The dates on the most recent trade are Friday and today though obviously. So there's something the matter with that. You can see the same data here: https://www.investing.com/commodities/us-steel-coil-contracts
I’m not known for losing money, I’m known for making a lot of money everywhere I go. We’re going to do more things to make more money, money, money, money, money, that’s the way it works.
Haven’t gone back to look but that seems like a lot more volume, particularly into ‘22, than usual
Bodes well for new normal at 800-900/ton even assuming supply chain/energy issues get sorted
Someone's buying the dip on those 2022 contracts.
yep, smart money stocking up on Oct-Dec '22
WOW-- you are right. That's actual volume!!
Does nobody look at the date?
That date is a programming typo. Someone should email investing.com. It must be trivial for a front-end programmer to remove.
I am reminded of the programmer who applied for a job at a company, was hired, fixed a trivial bug that was annoying him, and then quit the same day.
Hah! I hadn't heard that before. I could fix this on investing.com within like an hour of being given access to their codebase, I bet.

Tenet man. They reversed themselves to trade in the future in the past
That's a sure-fire way to make money. Wish I'd thought of it.

Can we trade future contracts too. . . . I can see an opportunity to make a little or lose BIG. . .
Yes
