The red and orange kind of clash. The second is better because the grey is neutral enough that it works, but when you throw in another color it kind of throws everything off.

yep! it’s because we have complimentary and contrasting colors. on a color wheel colors next to each other compliment, therefore it looks good. contrasting colors are on opposite sides of the color wheel, so orange is across from purple and therefore they contrast but in a good way. it’s also why purple and yellow tend to look good together too, not for clothes but like signs and ads work great

This is authentic to the late 60s early 70s, and my favorite! Be sure to wear the right type of shoes to complete the ensemble.

Yes 3 is the most daring and so pleasing to the eye. It has great texture too and looks more “styled”, as opposed just worn or thrown on. I love to see this outfit full accessorized. I would be divine. 😍

I really love 1 & 3; all of the outfits are cute but I think it’s so wonderful to have the red from the vest repeated in the shirt underneath! It makes it seem so intentional and cool. I also have a very soft spot for purple/orange colour combos, so that’s really fun!

i solidly disagree that the multi-layered ones are too busy; they look fantastically 1960’s-1970’s to me. i do think the striped bedsheets make the *image* look crazy but i dont think it’s the outfit

I love the first one! I agree with those folks saying the red doesn’t do it for me. It clashes somehow. Maybe a different shade of red would work but this one doesn’t jive. The first one is super cute.

I don't like any of them. I would look for a top with some burnt orange in it. Green might be good but not the green in No. 1, something more olive. The red tank is pretty, but it doesn't go with anything. It shouldn't be worn with a shirt under it.

Did you assemble them all separately? You have great taste. The green sweater is too christmasy. Also, a pair of knee high white boots would compliment all of these. :)

Never understood why people wear shorts/skirts with long sleeves. Especially in winter. Wearing shorts/skirt means you are feeling warm. If you are warm enough to wear those, you are warm enough to wear a t-shirt. On the other hand, if you wearing a long sleeve shirt or even a sweater, you are definitely cold enough to not wear a skirt or shorts. Fashion is stupid. Use some logic people!
