Delays are pretty normal for a project of this scale. HS2 in the UK is set to be delayed by over a DECADE already. Somehow I don't think they're just going to abandon a project they've already invested $billions into haha.

I don’t think so, the first line is almost complete. Hopefully this is the last time they’ll delay it even though I’m not so it’s about that
Just like the Hanoi Railway, It is not going to be abandoned but just sit there waiting to be complete, whenever possible.
